Oh my no! A million times no!!!…read more I was given a gift certificate for this place for over $100 I made an appointment with a rather grouchy woman, who put me with he most ill-trained stylist I've ever encountered in my life. I told her that I am a cool bleached blonde. I was very specific, please no reds, yellows, orange, please no brass, please use toner. I've had my hair done since I was 15. In hindsight, I could have done a better job using boxed hair bleach from the store! What was the most disturbing is this "stylist" told me she thought someone in her family had been inappropriate with children! WHAT!? Do I need to alert the police? What kind of conversation is this!???! When she was done 4+ hours later, she had turned me a rose gold! Everyone had left the salon! We were the only 2 people there!Uhhhh!?! She also told me that my $100+ gift certificate wasn't enough and that I owed her more money! She then said I could come back and that she would fix it, and it would take another 4+ hours...!!! Are you kidding me right now! I ran for my life! I loudly BOOO at their commercial at Aspen Cinemas! Derp!

Hopefully the owners running these businesses will notice and do better, as it really isn't right to run a business so shamefully! Sadly the poor locals have no choice in Evanston, so they have to put up with all of these unethical practices! As a business owner myself I regularly hold Staff Meetings, so my employees know exactly how to do their job, how to troubleshoot, be efficient, I am able to maximize productivity and morale! This doesn't seem to be the case here!

He was asking all the time if I still liked how they looked or if there was anything he could change. He really cared about how he was doing! This place is luxury but you get more than what you pay for! They had a soda bar, snacks, and coffee that you could help yourself to. The place feels clean, well managed, and welcoming. I seriously can't recommend Andy Tran enough! He's amazing at what he does! He's only there on Tuesdays, so make sure to go then! I've loved how my nails have looked so far and will be going back again. This is my second review, my first one was about how well they do pedicures. Had to review how amazing Andy was!

The only reason I was late was due to massive construction at USU (where I worked, which I warned her of), which you could not predict, and I was only 10 minutes late both times. She claims I was 15+ minutes late but I was not. In any case, she had time to do them, but refused stating she had another customer coming too soon. (She had always done my nails in slightly over an hour, she had time. And she never would've booked someone that quick after me, there wasn't time even if I was on time.) Plus, I rearranged my schedule, often last minute, for her trips and family stuff. This was 2 days before leaving for my 20th anniversary trip to Turks & Caicos, which she knew! No customer loyalty or consideration at all!
