Don't listen to all the negative reviews they are all a load of bullcrap. The owner of the shop is the sweetest lady you've ever met and the store is amazing. Came in yesterday and talked with her for over an hour. By the time I left I felt like I'd made a new friend. Go here!!! Unfriendly and rude. Proprietor not only didn't glance our way but actually rolled her eyes and said "oh my god" when our 2 year old wanted to look at the stuffed animals on the shelf as we walked by on the sidewalk. We stepped inside and looked, then left. If you don't want children in your store, have you considered not putting stuffed animals on the shelves just inside your door? Fortunately for us, the store doesn't carry much that is unique or appealing anyway so it was no great sacrifice. read more

The store is beautiful and creatively laid out. With all kinds of crafts from local artisans, jewelry, cute stuffed animals, lovely shirts, beautiful cards, etc. The owner is a very sweet spiritual lady. I enjoyed talking with her. Well worth a visit! read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - I WILL NEVER GO IN WILD THINGS STORE AGAIN. I knew when I had to come back to the store to return two T-shirts that it wasn't going to be pleasant. I had already read others reviews and knew that the only option was store credit. We looked around the store to find something else to purchase and when we couldn't, I requested the store credit. My daughter explained that her husband needed an XXL t-shirt and that she didn't have any in the store. The owner told my daughter, "Sounds like he needs to go on a diet!!!" Who says that!!??? Both tags were on both T-shirts and neither of them had been worn. The owner looked at one of them and noticed a spot on the front and I told her that it was just rain as it was raining outside. She was determined however, that the spot was dirt and that she wasn't going to give me a store credit. She then proceeded to insist that I give her my name and phone number so she could write it on her copy of the receipt (for the other t-shirt) and I resisted as that is private information. I ended up getting quite upset at that point and just getting my copy of the receipt and leaving. When I got in the car, my copy of the receipt was absolutely illegible and nothing that she had written had come through on my copy. It was absolutely useless. Needless to say, it's too bad when owners value their antiquated methods over good customer service. What a bad experience. read more

Such a fun store! They make 'shop local' convenient and easy. T-shirts, jewelry, stuffed animals and gifts for yourself and others.

Used this store as a go-to place for gifts until: Bought $80 shirt as a gift. Unfortunately it didn't fit the recipient, Medium was too big. Within a week of purchase I called the store, no Smalls in stock and none coming. And that's when I found out the Ridiculous Store Policy of No Refunds, only store credit. I very kindly returned the shirt the next day and am now stuck with an $80 store credit and a whole lot of regret. I go out of my way to support the small retailers but this experience is very discouraging. This particular store is now crossed off my list and that will be the last $ I spend there. It should be called the Vault for Your Money. The policy is unreasonable. read more

The worst customer service ever!!! I think you have to be the right color to shop at this store. I walked in extremely excited to buy my toddler a few wild things. I asked the woman with white, fuzzy hair if she had a lion puppet. She responded with, "Excuse me, you need to wait!!! I will finish this and then I'll get to you!" Excuse me?! Is this wretched woman insane?! I was baffled! This woman is in the service industry which means she is here to serve the customer, not the other way around. I'm so disappointed that such an atrocious human would be in charge of this store. I saw a lot of things I wanted to purchase, but I would NEVER give my business to a person who thinks it's okay to talk to people (especially potential customers) that way. Why do nasty people open stores? I was in Sebastopol in Saturday August 6 and went into this store. No greeting from the proprietor. Already a major customer service gaff. A group of adults and kids came in. She was immediately on alert and made comments I couldn't believe both to the people dorcetky and also under her breath but loud enough to hear. Basically she wanted them out. Eell we left and so did the group who might have spent who knows how much. Avoid like the plague J King read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! The woman that runs this store is absolutely awful! My SO and I were browsing, she was looking at a couple bracelets to buy for her and her mom, i was wondering directly behind our curious 2.5 year old, knowing how quick those hands can be. This shop is about the size of a small bathroom and she can see the whole shop from her counter, yet still found the need to snap "HE NEEDS TO LOOK WITH HIS EYES, NOT HIS HANDS!!!!!!!" at me. Excuse me?! I had been watching him like a hawk since we set foot in the store and the only thing i allowed him to touch was a ROPE BASKET, but apparently something that keys get tossed into is just too fragile for a child to touch. So we left, without spending the $200 we were going to spend. This woman has zero sense of customer service, or even how to be a decent human being. NEVER AGAIN!!!! I would advise spending your money elsewhere, there are plenty of AMAZING shops in Sebastopol that will treat you like family just for browsing the shop. read more
