Wife realized the mistake in the parking lot and went back inside to ask to return the bulb for the correct one and a refund of the difference. The clerk was clearly scared to call Mike to ask but agreed to knowing wife is a very consistent customer. Michael refused the return outright and made several snide comments to my wife belittling the business we have previously given him (she asked him why he would throw away a good customer over a $70 return) Do yourself a favor and avoid doing business with him period.

We've been here several times mainly for treats. I have a German shepherd who is hard to walk…read more I've tried multiple collars and harnesses to no avail. I either have to walk her at night with limited distractions or we don't walk. If we don't walk she gets very antsy and paces constantly. I was speaking about this to one associate and another overheard me who apparently had the same breed and issue. She showed me the harness she uses and told me to bring it back if it didn't fit or didn't help with my issue. First walk...amazing. It doesn't choke my dog by pulling against her neck but absolutely helps with the insistent pulling and yanking. We were able to go for a 1.5 miles today with one of my other dogs with no issue. She couldn't wiggle out of it and it was super helpful with guiding her on where I needed/wanted her to go instead of the pulling. Her overall demeanor after the walk was night and day too. I think it was just an easier walk overall for both of us which was so much more enjoyable.

Poor customer service and suspect return policy…read more I bought a number of items for my son to convert is lizard environment into bioactive. One of those items was a UV light that we ended up not needing. When I went to return it they told me they don't give cash refunds. The light is unused and unopened. The employee pointed to a paper taped to the counter stating that policy. The problem is that when I purchased the dirt, hides and insects, he brought everything to the counter and set it all on top of that notice. So I didn't see it. Nor would I have had the opportunity to see it as nothing placed there went into a bag. When I pointed that out he said it's written in the receipt. Which is also suspect as at that point the transaction is already complete and I had no opportunity to consider their policy at that point. I don't need $100 is store credit. And it's poor business practice to place your refund policy in one place, directly where it will be covered and unseen when checking out. If your goal is to compete and run a viable business how can you continue to lack a reasonable return policy on unused and unopened items?

All of the workers were huddled around the front holding conversation trying to get all the customers they could out of the store as fast as they could so they could go back to their own conversations. My only complaint is that the Betta Splendens are kept in pint sized cups. They cups are kept very clean and all, and overall much larger and better than the cups at most pet stores, but still, they are cups. I feels like they could at least try better at that factor. Otherwise I would have given them 5 stars. But they are an overall great store and I would recommend. I've bought so many useful supplies there, and a little Zebra Nerite Snail as a tankmate for my Betta :) . They get along so well. (The reason some of you are seeing older bad reviews, and now good reviews, is because they are under new ownership and management. I saw fish I had never seen before, they also have a great selection of healthy aquatic plants if you like aqua scape. Later, some shrimp I bought from Petsmart infected my tank and killed my fancy goldshish Fishna, so I sadly went back to Exotic Aquatics to start over. I ended up super stoked. I received fantastic customer service, the shop was beautiful and the fish all looked healthy. Most tanks were self contained. It was badass. It's been two weeks and my cardinal tetras are still healthy, the heater he sold me was affordable, I barely notice it in the tank and I'm so glad he made sure I needed one. I had a great experience here. Absolutely recommend this shop.
