And super sweet and helpful lately, carrying lots of new products, Alex is awesome and everyone do you think you too. Always welcoming and correct about my ETA legal service dogs and me being in the shop, great service and selection especially compared to back in the day I see major improvements which is awesome! Thanks so much again for recent advice and purchases, all has been serving me very well. We are sad about my dog daughter ServiceDogChi, who passed in February, thank you for your kind condolences always, and from ServiceDogRed as he still sees you guys almost weekly! read more

Wild Side Smoke Shop - Sunset over wild side... - Tobacco Shops Near Me - Isla Vista, California

I've tried to give Wildside Smoke Shop in Goleta multiple chances, but this was the final straw. This is the third time I've received expired products from them. Today my boyfriend stopped in for me, and once again the item was out of date. This isn't just inconvenient, it's irresponsible. Selling expired products can genuinely make someone sick. It's not a small mistake, especially when it keeps happening. I understand that things can slip through the cracks once, but three times shows a lack of attention to inventory and customer safety. I won't be going back. read more

This place I had terrible service and rude workers. Don't go here unless you want a shit experience. They suck

The employee was rude and not very friendly during my experience. Their attitude made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome, and they did not seem interested in being helpful or providing good customer service. When I asked questions, their responses came across as short and dismissive rather than polite or understanding. I understand that everyone can have a bad day, but I still expected to be treated with basic kindness and respect. Overall, the interaction was disappointing and could have been handled much more professionally. read more

Came in to buy a terp slurper, spent $90 since they only had one brand. Brought it home and it hit great but the dish fell off the next day and all the smoke shop could do was give me 30% of another of the same slurper... Anyways I went to High Tides and their selection was as much greater with more variety. I walked out with a $25 dollar slurper on a discount! read more

I went in and was helped by a very nice young girl. She was super awesome and was able to answer all my questions about the different pieces. She also recommend the cola ice bolt which is now my favorite flavor. Super respectful, awesome service, and she was pretty cute. Every time I go in I hope to see her working. read more

Usually never have a problem with staff here however today the young girl working was absurdly rude and talked down to me as if she were trying to seem superior. She's the reason wildside just lost my business. read more

Bought a bottle of juice, left the store and noticed it was several months expired. Went back in to show the prick behind the counter and he said it was my fault b/c I opened the box. Then proceeded to tell me that all the juices on the shelf would likely be the same date. Seemed to not realize that was a problem and told me to take it up with his boss. Don't give them your business, their juice is toxic. read more

I come to wild side pretty frequently and the staff is usually always very nice and they let me feel out what I want before I make any big purchases. Yesterday was different though. I went to wild side with 3 of my friends and we wanted to go shopping for a bong. There was this short man with cargo shorts and a trucker hat working that I've never seen there before and he was insanely pushy. He would not leave me and my friends alone and he wanted us to buy so many things so badly, it was actually making me and my friends very uncomfortable and we even started texting each other asking what's up with this dude and why he's being so pushy. Yeah employees will sometimes push you to get more, that's upselling, however this man was different. He just came across as desperate and I really did not appreciate how he wouldn't give us a break. There was a quick second where the store was at max capacity and there was a line outside and another employee asked if one of us would mind stepping out for just a quick second since we were a group of 3 and not everyone was buying something. My friend volunteered to step out and once she did she immediately sent me a text saying to come outside. I stepped outside and she started frantically telling me about how uncomfortable the shirt employee was making her and how he kept getting really close to her, to make matters worse he kept pulling his mask below his nose when he got close to my friend and we were just really sketched out. We've shopped at wild side multiple times before and we've never had this issue before and we've never seen this employee before too. We know he's definitely new because we're usual customers but that's what got me irritated, how do you hire employees like this? I get that new employees love to upsell because they want to prove themselves but this was just different, ESPECIALLY with the way he was acting with my friend. I have loved the deals at wild side for the longest time and I would go there frequently to pick up all my smoking essentials but honestly with this new employee I'm going to have to peak inside the store and make sure he's not there before I go inside because I genuinely did not like this employee. I will continue to shop here when he's not around, the usual employees are nothing but good to me but this was just different. read more

These dudes hooked up a great deal on two puffco peaks! They have an awesome selection of glass for all price ranges and are super helpful if you have any questions. Gave me a ton of raffle tickets for their 7/10 raffle too!!! Stoked read more

1) they have multiple glass pieces that are store brand generics that clearly have been re-labeled to sell for higher 2) many of their pieces have deformities (air bubbles, scratches, non-uniform thickness) LOOK CAREFULLY! 3) literally everything is overpriced by 50-100 dollars. Only buy the small stuff at this "shop".They can't screw up papers... read more

WORST PLACE EVER. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Bought 2 products from here and both are defective!! Went back to talk to the manager to see if they'll replace them for THEIR defective products and they said they can't replace it and can only give me a small discount to purchase a new one. The manager was SO rude and just argued with me and my friend. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Never buy products from here because they'll end up not working within the first week. read more

The younger girl working there is extremely rude. Has zero respect and talks to you as if you're a child and she's more superior than you by asking simple questions. Sorry they offended you and frankly you lost my business and all future business because of you're immature childish behavior. Get new employees who aren't disrespectful to customers.... read more

They wouldn't refund my simple vaporizer battery even though I tipped the guy 3 dollars the cost of the battery he wouldn't even come to the door to tell me that there are no refunds which is fine he ignored my knocks at the door when they were closed early and then treated me like a sack of shit a guy 10 years younger than me and 70 pounds better than They wouldn't refund my simple vaporizer battery even though I tipped the guy 3 dollars the cost of the battery he wouldn't even come to the door to tell me there's no refunds which is common courtesy. I've bought glass from here before, when the shop first opened , and had a positive experience. But now I find myself trying to buy e-cig liquid, and they have a sign up that says they'll be back in 30 minutes. I had been here before and bought some vape juice, I received some raffle tickets for a big Halloween draw. Showed up today around 4:10 but was greeted by a "Be back in 10 mins" sign. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Manager was so rude talking to me and my friend that was just trying to replace a defective product that was bought here. This has happened to her twice now from products bought here. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HERE. read more

I've been here twice and had a great experience. The two guys that work there are friendly and helpful. I purchased glass cleaner and a pipe in the past and both worked great. Today I went in and bought a digital scale only to find it defective when I first opened it. I went back within an hour of purchase to explain to them that they sold me something that doesn't work but it didn't matter. They explained to me that all sales are final and that I would have to use the warranty associated with the company. I wish they would have handled it differently and at least exchanged it or refunded me. I don't think I'll be going back if they are going to be selling defective products. read more
