Unfortunately, over the past year, my rating for this store has gone from 5 stars down to 3.. And I'll tell you why; some of the items that they sell are not legitimate. Meaning, you think you are buying a particular brand name, when in fact you are buying a low quality fake. Now, I am not 100% sure whether the items that I myself have purchased from them in the past were fake or not. But, when almost everything I have bought from their Vape/E-Cigarette section either broke or fell apart on me after owning it for 2 to 3 months, well, then I can't help but be suspicious. Reason #2 - there is one employee in particular who, on his good days, can be very friendly and patient and helpful! But sadly, those days are somewhat rare.. The rest of the time, he comes off very grumpy, moody, impatient, and overall indifferent. I hate to say this because over time I have grown to somewhat like this person, but seeing how his demeanor has been affecting their business, I feel it needs to be addressed.. My latest trip to the store, I met their newest employee. Unfortunately, he didn't know ANYTHING. I could have overlooked his lack of knowledge in the vaping section, however he didn't even know the basics when I asked about their cigarettes... Point is, I hit a brick wall going to the store that day, and ended up going elsewhere for what I needed. As for the positive aspects, these guys will do the best they can, with what knowledge they have when it comes to customer service. If you aren't happy with what you initially see, they will do everything they can to make sure that you are happy and satisfied when you leave their store. The manager is very VERY friendly and extremely helpful! He will spend a good amount of time helping one customer, and if another customer comes in, he will help them so they aren't waiting forever; While at the same time somehow managing to avoid making the original customer feel ignored or abandoned!! AMAZING!! Honestly, I'm still not sure how he does it, and I've been on both sides many a time. As I mentioned in the beginning, I have given this store a 5 star rating in the past. All of the reasons I gave before for that rating still apply; However, because of the issues I listed here in this post, I sadly must change the 5 stars to 3 stars.. read more

It's always unfortunate when a shop doesn't stand behind what they sell. I recently purchased an E-Cig battery from this shop, less than 3 days ago. Upon using this battery for one day, I noticed the lack of quality and that it didn't hold a full charge for longer than 20 minutes. I went back in to talk with the employee on duty. I told him that I wished to return or exchange the battery because of the lack of its ability to hold a charge and he replied, "wow, that sucks. There are no refunds." Pointing to a dingy scribbled note on the register. Needless to say, this shop is over priced. The battery I bought was brandless and sold to me for 20 dollars. I guess the name of the shop says it's all ironically, "Smoke for Less" Know that this shop is built on standards not even "Less" could hold up to. read more

Store is Selling COUNTErFEIT PUFFS. I purchased 2 mint puff plus and when I opened them in the parking lot I could tell they were off for several reasons. 1) It did not come with the yellow paper in it that warned of the harmful effects. 2) Both tasted off and one of them barley hit. 3) each puff has a code on the side that you can scratch to authenticate through the puff website and I cheeped and it said both were counterfeit. I went back into the store less than 10 minutes later and the man was so rude, saying hw docent sell counterfeits, that the puff website itself is fake, and that all sales were final. read more

Ouch. Came in here earlier this week to get a new vape. I immediately told the man working in the shop that I wanted a SMOK Novo in replacement for my old SMOK Nord which was starting to malfunction. The man told me that the likely reason I struggled with the Nord was because "as a female" I would "struggle to insert the coil properly." He then continued to mansplain different vaping concepts to me and kept showing me different kind of vapes that I rejected all of (because I came in specifically for a Novo). He then said I would probably like the Novo, which was awkward because that was what I originally requested but I guess he decided to just not listen. I also asked this guy for a coil for a specific vape that someone I live with had requested I buy and he gave me the wrong one. Giving 2 stars for good prices, but the customer service kind of sucks. I walked in to this smoke shop on a whim, when I had actually come to grab some hair supplies from Sally's next door. I normally would have overlooked it thinking it was just a tobacco shop, but looked again and noticed a flashing sign that said 'Vape Shop' or something to that nature. I am a serious vape nerd and am very particular about my E juice and coil's which are hard to find, let alone at a good price. So I wandered in and asked the gentleman behind the counter, Sammy, if he had my E juice, and he said "yes of course!". I was blown away since it is so hard to find in stock at most places. Then when he told me the price, my job dropped before forming a giant grin. I then asked about my coil's which he usually had in stock, but didn't at the time. He did however have something comparable and actually worked with me on the price which is unheard of in my experience. I walked out of there extremely happy, and I am quite sure I won't be going anywhere else for my vaping needs. read more

Shop is full of clones as far as vaping goes. I bought an "evod" starter kit.... Apparently, it's not authentic after finding out what the real one looks like online. Since this is a clone, it should have been a lot cheaper. I got ripped off. Thanks buddy!!!! The battery doesn't even hold its charge for every long....He told me to come back to replace my coilhead in two weeks. I tossed it in the trash the very next day. I've been on yelp for years and only post reviews when they fully deserve it. This company deserves to be trashed. I wont say where I went for my vaping needs but it is down the street from this shop with authentic/quality stuff. Seriously stay away from this store. read more

Horrible service! I should of listened to all the bad reviews. Like other people have said the customer service is the worst I've seen in a long time, cashier ( Rami ) who was obviously on some type of drugs is extremely rude and doesn't respect the customers at all tried calling me crazy saying I didn't purchase the product I was trying to return the day I did even tho the date was on the receipt. All he did was try to argue and embarrass me in front of other customers instead of solving the issues he just point to the small piece of paper on the wall that says all sales final. I was confused because when I made the purchase the day before the girl who sold it to me ( equally bad customer service) nodded her head when I asked if they do returns just in case. So I came back sure enough as I had found my battery and no longer needed the one I purchased it was never opened, and I understand all sales final, so they should make it more clear instead of letting customers assume you can make returns when they can't. Don't shop here there's plenty of smoke shops with better friendlier service where they don't insult the people that keep they're business going. If you do take the risk to shop here just know you're going to be stuck with what u got and if you try to talk to them about it you will just be made to look stupid in front other customers because they seem to like to do that from reading other reviews, save the stress and go to Goleta smoke shop. read more

When I went to this store for the first time I was impressed how classy and amazing smoke shop, friendly people and helpful are working there , they fixed my electronic cigarettes and they have large selection of vape and e-cigarettes in very reasonable prices , even my husband was happy with the large selection of fine premium cigars..
