21 dollar drink
Sierra S.

I have mixed feelings about wild rivers, I honestly really enjoyed it the first time I went (4th of July), there was nobody there and I was able to ride everything. The second time I paid 25 dollars more for the ticket (a Sunday in the summer) and rode barely anything in the same time span of the last time. The wave pool didn't work for 20 minutes and the workers weren't sure what to do. Also, I feel like there needs to be a better process for lifeguards, like a megaphone because the whistle blowing is so loud and they're rude to the kids. Overall, it's a fun, great place for kids and it can be super fun for adults but it's very expensive and the price doesn't always reflect the experience you will have

Cabana experience: 3/5 We had a pretty good experience today. Comes with 8 waters and a safe and a USB connection for a charger. 2 chairs and 2 loungers. We rented the cabana by the wave pool and it was very convenient. The menus don't have prices though so that makes me nervous. I rated 3/5 because they add 18% gratuity, even if you're below a party of 6 and only ordered 3 beers. Bar: 4/5 The options are the bar are very good. Order virgin pina coladas for the kids. Beer is good lol and there are TVs Food: 1/5 We ordered fries for a snack. Not very good. They were cold, and flimsy. Needed salt. Our kids didn't even enjoy them. I didn't want to order anything else after the fries because it was unappealing. Snacks: 1/5 We bought dipping dots before leaving and when we opened them up, the dots were completely melted into each other so it ended up being like a "gogurt" style ice cream. Slides: 5/5 We had an amazing time. Lots of thrill if your into that. We rode every large attraction. Wave pool is great. It's was a perfect day. Great weather. I would come back.

Lazy river fun!!

Me and a couple girlfriends came here on a Thursday for a fun day at the water park. Tickets were $45. We came around 11:30 am. We decided to our own lunch to save some money and left it in the car until ready to eat. Parking was pretty easy but by the time we got there we did have to park a ways a way. Getting inside was easy, we went through security and shared a locker for $25 total. We did a few slides, lazy river, and the wave pool. We all agreed the lazy river was our favorite and stayed in there most of the time lol. We ate lunch in the picnic area but there was a good amount of flies in that area which we didn't care for but we were outside lol. Lines weren't horrible and went pretty fast earlier in the day. A group had rented out the park towards the end of the day so we did have to leave earlier than we would have wanted. I hadn't been to a water park in years and I really enjoyed myself!

Went on tuesday with my friends and we had so much fun. Tickets are around $70 which is not bad plus they have a lot of slide options. I just wished they have a lot of shower areas and there's a lot of bees when i went.

Honestly I never been to a theme park like this. I came to celebrate my friends bday for the night wave event and it was not good an experience. The food and drinks were pricey and drinks watered down. It reminded me of all inclusive at the hotels. The park is not big at all! They have some slides and pools but nothing to go crazy for. I also did not like how it was over at 9 PM and they stop letting people get a water slides around 8:15. I don't think it was fair especially when you have paid. Didn't think it was that much fun, and could have lasted longer until a later time. Also, the weight for the bar was absolutely long and we stood in line for over an hour that takes up most of your time to enjoy yourself. The plus is that it's located in a very nice area and it is a clean park, but otherwise I don't think I will come back here again . Free parking and lots of it!

We had such a great day at Wild Rivers! We purchased day passes for a Monday, and it ended up being the perfect day to go. We also rented a cabana, and our server, Yvonne, made the experience even better. She was absolutely amazing--so attentive, friendly, and welcoming. She checked on us often and made sure we had everything we needed. If you get the chance, definitely ask for Yvonne! The park itself was very clean, and every employee we encountered was kind and helpful. The food was exactly what you'd expect from an amusement park, and while the drinks are a little pricey, I actually didn't mind--it helps keep people from overdoing it before climbing all those stairs to the slides! Overall, we had an awesome experience. The rides were fun, the atmosphere was great, and the customer service really stood out. We had such a good time that we've already decided we'll be buying season passes next year. Highly recommend!

I love coming here every summer. Their water slides are awesome and fun. Sometimes the lines get long but that's what people are here for. Their wave pool and lazy River are fun and relaxing. The bar has great drinks with a view of the wave pool. I will come back again soon

Ask the Community - Wild Rivers

Can my child wear a floaty or do they provide them?

Anything brought into the park must be U.S. Coast Guard Certified. We do provide lifejackets for free at the park.

Are Thong Bikinis allowed?

Maybe they aren't enforcing this rule because I have seasons passes and there are plenty of thongs and bikinis being worn!

Are water bottles in a cooler allowed?

No, nothing with liquid or food sealed is allowed. You can bring in an empty reusable water container to fill up at multiple water stations for free.

Is there a military discount on tickets?

Military personnel with a valid ID may purchase up to four tickets at the park for our junior price of $54.99. Please present your ID at time of purchase to receive your discount.

How much is a one day ticket?

$79.99 at the door. I recommend buying ahead using their website. I used Groupon to purchase a pack of 4 tickets, those came out to $34 per ticket.

Is there any ride is friendly to kids under 3 years old?

There are two "small kids" sections which have splashing water and slides. One is more for 3 year olds. Kids HAVE TO go by themselves on the slides. My toddler would've done…

Can you bring outside or food from home? Asking for a friend...

No outside food

Is it okay if we wear Crocs or flip-flops while playing? And can we bring the water bottles?

Crocs or flip flops are a must! The ground gets really hot. Water shoes are even better, as you are allowed to keep them on for most rides.…

What time does the park open o?

10-7 through July and half of August. Right now Fri-Sunday 10-8pm

What's included with the cabana rental? Besides the 4 4 chairs and locker is there delivery service or anything like that

They have an employee who will take your orders but all you get is a cabana for the day and a dedicated employee to get you food and drinks which is separate from the rental.

Is getting a cabana worth it?

If you like to have your privacy with your friends and family it is worth it. Knowing you have your own spot and service is great.

Can u bring your own chairs or umbrellas?

No they do not allow that

Can I use touchless pay like google pay, venmo, or apple pay for lockers, tickets, and food?

Yes

Is there shade to sit under if you don't have cabana?

Yes you have to get chairs next to an umbrella

Are toddlers ok to wear crocs / water shoes in the pools?

Yes, lots of people were wearing water shoes

Are there lounge chairs or places to sit and watch your kids play?

There's lots of free lounge chairs near the wave pool and kids play area. They have cabanas too; but you have to pay for those.

Do they have life jackets for adults just in case they can't swim that well?

They have adult life jackets at the wave pool and lazy river. I didn't see anyone wear it on the slides, so I don't think their permitted on the slides. Most slides have a depth of 3'6" when you fall down or less. There's 2 slides that you fall…

May I know the business time?

10-8pm

Extremely Disappointed With How My Daughter Was Treated…read more I am extremely disappointed with our experience at Adventure Lagoon. My 11-year-old daughter was there celebrating her birthday, and instead of leaving with happy memories, she left feeling singled out, embarrassed, and upset. A lifeguard repeatedly made her swim back and forth without a life vest because he questioned whether she could swim. Even after she completed what was asked of her, he continued questioning her ability and ultimately told her he wasn't "confident" enough to allow her onto the obstacle course. I was later told that this repeated testing was not even required and that she could have participated while wearing a life vest. My daughter felt like this lifeguard was specifically picking on her, and she even told me she felt the treatment may have been racially motivated. After I complained to management, she was required to swim test AGAIN, despite already being exhausted. During that test, the same lifeguard entered the water to "save" her when, from what I personally witnessed, she did not appear to need assistance. In the process, he pulled her downward into the water. As a mother, watching that happen was extremely upsetting. My daughter is autistic, and experiences like this can stay with her. She spent the remainder of her own birthday party down and thinking about what happened while I tried to cheer her up. She did not get to fully enjoy the birthday celebration we planned for her. The following morning, she woke up still thinking and talking about the incident. Management told me our whole party could come back so my daughter could have a better experience. There were approximately 20 people in her birthday party, so when they said "whole party," that is exactly what I understood it to mean. I called the next morning specifically because my daughter was still upset and I wanted to bring her back for the better experience they promised. I was then told they supposedly thought our party consisted of only 7 people and that only 7 could return. I was told bringing back our actual party would cost approximately $1,000. That is incredibly disappointing. I never asked them to offer a return visit--they offered it as a way to make the situation right. I've also requested to speak with the owner or someone above management and have been unable to do so. This is not about getting something for free. My daughter deserved to enjoy her birthday with the people who came to celebrate her, and she deserves the opportunity to return with that same party and have the experience we were told she would receive. If you tell a mother that her whole party can return so her child can have a better experience, especially after something like this happens on that child's birthday, then that commitment should be honored.

It's a cute little place for kids with a lazy river, three slides, a toddler area, and a wave area. I was excited to find somewhere that was a little more convenient and purchased 3 season passes. Unfortunately, we were only able to use the passes twice. When I originally asked the girls working at the front desk about the schedule, I was told that the park would be open Monday through Friday through the end of August. Based on that information, I felt comfortable purchasing the season passes because I knew my other kids would be coming back from vacation and we would have plenty of opportunities to use them. That ended up not being the case. The park was closed multiple times for private events, and then the schedule changed. I eventually called to check whether they were open and got a voicemail saying that they would now only be open on weekends until Labor Day. I emailed the park because I was disappointed and explained the situation. Unfortunately, I didn't feel like they were very helpful. I was basically told that the calendar had been posted since the beginning of summer and that it was my responsibility to check it. The problem is, I didn't even know there was a calendar to check. I was given information directly by the employees at the front desk that the park would be open Monday through Friday through the end of August. If someone had told me, "Our schedule can change, so please check our online calendar before purchasing," I absolutely would have done that. In fact, if I had known the actual schedule, I probably wouldn't have purchased the season passes in the first place. Because of the closures, private events, and schedule changes, I was only able to use my pass twice and couldn't use it when my other kids returned from vacation, which was the whole reason I purchased the passes. I think it's a cute little water park and could be a fun option for younger kids, especially if you're looking for something smaller than the big water parks. But unfortunately, the way this was handled left a really bad taste in my mouth. I completely understand that schedules can change and private events happen. What I don't think is fair is telling customers one thing when they're purchasing passes and then essentially telling them afterward that they should have known to check a calendar they weren't aware existed. I'm sure three season passes aren't going to make or break the business, but as a customer, I definitely feel like I got screwed over for simply trusting the information I was given by the employees.

What exactly am I paying for?…read more Seriously. I purchased a membership for lap swimming, but the reality is that members are constantly competing for access to THREE lanes. Not an entire pool. Three lanes. And apparently the expectation is that up to FOUR adults can share a single lane. Four. There was a day when a third person joined my lane and that was RIDICULOUS. Four people sharing one lap lane is not a quality swimming experience. It's overcrowding disguised as a membership benefit. Then there are the limited hours. Which I was initially fine with until everything else. There are the swim lessons and you will be removed from a lane if the instructor needs the lane you are already in. Then there is the jacuzzi, which seems to spend more time closed than open. I swim three times a week and I honestly can't remember the last time it was available. At this point, why advertise it as an amenity at all? And today I find... the facility is closed Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for a swim meet. The only notice given was a piece of paper taped to the door. A piece of paper. In 2026. Members provide phone numbers and email addresses when signing up. Why collect that information if you're not going to communicate closures that eliminate nearly half a week's worth of access? No email. No text. No notification. Just drive over and find out when you get there. The most frustrating part is that none of these issues exist by themselves. It's the combination of all of them. Limited hours. Limited lanes. Overcrowded lanes. Frequent jacuzzi closures. Priority given elsewhere. Unexpected facility closures. Poor communication. Yet the membership price suggests you're paying for a premium aquatic facility. You're not. For less money, I can join a gym with a lap pool, a functioning jacuzzi, longer operating hours, fitness equipment, and significantly better availability. City of La Mirada wants to charge premium membership fees while delivering a consistently limited experience. The entire operation feels incredibly cheap. Cheap communication. Cheap availability. Cheap member accommodations. But somehow not cheap membership prices. If members are expected to share three overcrowded lanes, lose access for entire weekends, receive no meaningful communication, and watch amenities remain closed for weeks at a time, then management needs to answer a very simple question: What exactly are we paying for?

Our kids are 3 1/2 and 5 and pretty much enjoyed all the rides! The roller coaster is a little rough, but I think it just depends on your kid, since my younger one really enjoyed it. It's no secret that the place is pricey, but you pay for the convenience that can come in clutch depending on your situation. It's a stunning hotel, andI love how it reminds me of the Ahwahnee Hotel. The place gives me a double whammy of heart-felt nostalgia feels as I grew up going to Disney and Yosemite. Overall customer service was excellent. Cast members were friendly, but the concierge goes above and beyond. I really appreciated them helping us with a scooter rental on the spot for my mom, who has a torn meniscus. During our stay, we stayed on the club level and took full advantage of The Veranda Lounge. The lounge offered food at 4 times through the day: continental breakfast, afternoon tea, "happy hour," and desserts. The snacks and unlimited beverages were worth it, and you could take them with you to the pool and to the parks. One one of the days, we spent some time at the pool around 4pm. The place seemed pack, but we quickly learned that many chairs didn't have returning occupants despite seeming to be reserved. We were able to snag 4 chairs with umbrellas. Not all chairs had umbrellas, which was unfortunate. My only complaint was that service felt very slow. Lastly, the rooms were great. Our room had 4 adults, and the space didn't feel cramped at all. The bed and pillows were comfortable to me, and I felt like I had restful nights of sleep.

It's all facade, you walk in and see the grand lobby, that's where the scam starts. Honestly most of the employees suck, they're all on their phones or look like it's the last place they want to be. I can't blame them.. The rooms and hallways are outdated and uncared for. The prices are astronomical to the point of a con job. The magic here is long gone, they play on your nostalgia to get you in and then completely rip you off. I've been to Disneyland and this hotel a few times over the years and it's gone so far downhill there's really no way I see them recovering. I will for sure not be back to this hotel or Disneyland again in its current form.
