    Dress code

Avid line dancers review: Age group is late 20s to early 40s. Really nice you don't have a bunch of drunk young people crowding the floor. Crowd is pretty chill, not very hyped. Wasn't very busy when I got there at 11:30pm. Busiest part of the night was between 11:45pm-1:15am. Dress code is strict for the men, but given the area its needed to keep up the country vibes and not get lost in an urban crowd. Fashion for women is pretty casual. Not a lot of sexy skimpy clothing you'd find in a younger crowd. More t-shirts, denim shorts and Hey Dudes. There is some line dancing here, but mostly basic, easy level dances that an experienced dancer could pick up quickly. They did the electric slide for 7 straight songs to give you an idea. Not a lot of partner dancing. Good dance floor. The music was more like club music when I first arrived until the DJ left the booth and changed over to a traditional country playlist for 40 minutes which was my favorite part of the night. They did have a second room that was more of a night club room so I wish they'd have played more country in the line dancing room. Bartenders were helpful and quick, but security was a bit aggressive and demanding while patting down guests with a metal detector. $10 cover at door. Overall decent stop while passing through town. I'd recommend it for 2 hours tops, but not a destination you'd want to spend your whole night at.

Very fun line dancing bar that replaced boots n buckles. The place is huge but doesn't get super busy. Mainly townies and college students go here but everyone is pretty friendly. It's fun to learn the line dance moves and someone is almost always willing to teach. There are two sides of the building, one side is line dancing the other side is a smaller area where they play hip-hop and rap. They have special events like bands and stuff on different nights. Their fb page had the info. The bartenders are super nice and they have tones of special during the week on drinks. The actually have ladies who sit in the bathroom and sell things like perfume, tampons/pads and even candy which is pretty cool and classy. They also have a bull that's $5 to see how long you can ride (pretty popular) Very casually place though. You could go and sit and have a drink. It's 18 and up but don't worry about being hassled by the young ones, it's the older townies you gotta look out for lol. Come dressed somewhat down! And if you've got boots, definitely bring em!

The drinks are okay but there's one bartender who is very rude. Music is good for line dancing

Line dancing was fun. Will say if you don't like drama leave earlier rather than later.

Not sure they even play country music. They didn't when we were there. Free line dancing lessons were fun. Good drink specials.

The advertisement did not mention any gender restrictions or different pricing. When I arrived, I was told that men were required to pay an $8 entry fee. If the promotion had clearly stated that the offer did not apply to males, I would've been prepared for that. Accurate and transparent social media promotion is extremely important for bars, especially when trying to attract new guests. When the information online doesn't match the experience at the door, it creates confusion and reflects poorly on the business. Clear communication would go a long way in improving the guest experience. Another issue was the cigarette smoke inside. The smell of cigarettes lingering throughout the building made it hard to enjoy the night. Paying to get in and then having to deal with heavy cigarette odor just isn't the vibe when you're trying to have a good time. Overall, clearer advertising and a smoke‑free environment would make the experience much better.

Full disclosure: we came in for one thing and one thing only -- KARAOKE! We've heard stories about O'Briens karaoke and the singers it draws for years, so we couldn't pass up an opportunity to check it out. It did not disappoint! The only food I tried that night was their fries, which were very good. As for drinks, I stuck to Irish Whiskey, and they've got a very good selection. The bartenders were friendly and attentive, which is always impressive on popular karaoke nights when its loud and crowded -- kudos to the O'Briens staff for keeping it cozy and welcoming! Now, more about karaoke! They've got a spacious "stage" for performers and its a large enough space that singers with big voices don't have to worry too much about being too loud. Sound mix is well-balanced -- you can tell they've been doing this for a while. Pro tip: If you want to sing more than once, get there early! When I put my name in I had 17 singers ahead of me, if that tells you anything about how busy it gets. All in all, we had a great time, and the next time we're out in Carrollwood we'll likely be back!

No view unless you have a railing table. Service was okay. Seemed annoyed and it was so loud it was hard to communicate. Ordered a burger with a beyond patty substitute. The burger comes with 2 patties. I got ONE SUPER THIN patty even though I had to pay a $4 up charge. There were a half a handful of fries that were cold and I also got the Brussels sprouts. Those were Soaked in oil, hard, and had no flavor. They were awful. Super super disappointing and the prices are way higher than they should be even for a bar on the strip. Shots were flavorful but you barely get anything for the price and it's mostly mixers. Went to level 4 which had a DJ. Super fun, more of the party atmosphere. Great mix of music, fresh air, decent views although the side with good views was blocked off. This was the best part but again, no specialty cocktails. Just regular bar drinks that were extremely overpriced and the bartenders were pretty snotty. I get it's busy but you still have to have some customer service (no it had nothing to do with tipping - I had an open tab and my friend and I tip well). Ended up spending $250 on the burger brussel sprouts and a few drinks for me and my friend. Fun experience but probably wouldnt do it again and if I did would definitelyyyy not eat there. Wish I would've snagged a picture of the menu but I didn't. All the menus on Yelp are outdated. I want to say the burgers were $26 for the cheapest and up and the beyond substitute is four dollars. $30 horrible burger.
