We had the same experience as another customer with the service. The lady seemed bothered that we came in for a flight at 530. Also did not really help with suggestions or information about the offerings. So we winged it. I did like the White fox. Did not really like the elderberry

The white doors open to the entrance - we were a bit too early - very pretty inside too.

Friendly service - we tried their red & white wine slushy as a little treat after our train ride. Of course - forgot to get a picture but a very tasty drink- if you're in the area check them out.

This town is beautiful. The winery was fine and nice service was excellent. We didn't have food but the blue wine was delicious and I grabbed a bottle. Beware! Apparently there's no parking very upset about the parking situation. Got a $50 ticket and there was no sign indicating that there was no parking in the spot we were at. Was only here for the wine cider tasting was maybe an hour in the spot.

The sweet wines are very sweet, but they're also really good, that's why our glasses are empty. The venue has a very nice ambiance, and I really like the various paintings on the wall that are for sale. The service is very quick.

What a nice little stop for after a ride on the Santa Clause Special on the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway. Super friendly people, cozy ambiance, good selection of cider/wine which they break down into dry, semi-dry, and sweet categories for you (get a flight so you can try a little of each!) , and great charcuterie boards too! Definitely worth stopping in! Jim Thorpe has no open container law either, so make sure to grab something to go when you leave.

My fiancé and I stopped by while visiting the area. We are really into ciders. We LOVED the apple cider- it was so tasty. The staff was very friendly and it was located in a prime area. Would definitely stop by again.

Sometimes you just get lucky and this is one of those times. Wild Elder shares an entrance with a donut shop we wanted to try, but was sold out and closed. Lisa at Wild Elder was there and very helpful, so why not drink instead :) Lisa was so helpful, thoughtful and fun to chat with. What started as a courtesy glass of wine or two for the friendliness turned into an hour or so of wining (in the good way like a bottle plus), charcuterie and chatting. It was after closing time, but we still were able to chat while she got ready to close. As a former business owner, I kept asking if she wanted us to leave, but she kept attending to us and said it was fine. The kicker was when she refused a tip. The system they use always asks for a tip and since we weren't sure how long we would stay, I kept closing out at each round. The last round (which I didn't know was the last at the time :), I asked her to let me finish processing my payment/tip and she refused. I said I need to add tip and she said "I know", but no. What a sweetheart. I know people don't always work for tips, but I'm happy to when appropriate. Never refused. Argued, but never refused. Going to have to recommend this place for anyone visiting Jim Thorpe and listen to Lisa's suggestions, because she was right on for what we wanted. Just let them know what your preferences are! If you are as lucky as we were and get her on a slow night, tip her well for me :) I think I did the first few rounds, but still left wanting to thank her more. I hope this review shows her how much we appreciated her. Please don't expect the same if busy, that's just not fair. Also think right time and right place has something to do with it. I also think we are nice people and people are nice because of that, so don't be an ass and expect the same :). Otherwise, please enjoy this treasure in Jim Thorpe!!!!

This place was wonderful! We strolled in looking for some local wines / ciders and we were not disappointed. The staff were all super nice, gave us samples, and gave us drinks to go so we could do a "sip and stroll" since we were limited on time for shopping around the main drag. They have fun and different flavors - I definitely recommend checking it out!

Absolutely wonderful little shop! You can get everything from charcuterie , light snacks,Elderberry syrup... their own fantastic wine, cider, and also wine slushies. Everything I had was great I wanted to stay forever and eat and drink everything. Will definitely be going back

a very cute place to grab a drink and some food! got there pretty early in the day so it wasn't busy which was perfect. stopped in for the tasting flight and all four options were recommended at the counter, I ended up leaving with some cans and a bottle of wine the outdoor area was great for my dog, nice and shaded. we were the only ones out for a while but then it did start to get a bit busier out there when we were leaving.

I asked them to surprise me with my wine flight. No disappointment at all! Great selections. My favorite was the White Fox!

Super cute little winery and cidery that offers tastings of wine and cider at a reasonable price! I thought the ciders were good and the ambiance in the outdoor area/alleyway they had was really cute. The outdoor area was really good for taking photos! The indoor area was a little lacking in seats/space kind of but it wasn't packed by any means. The people inside were also really nice and allowed us to sample the wine slushees before purchasing also! Those were really good as well. It is located in the back of a donut shop on the main road in town. We had to park pretty far away due to the lack of parking in the area so be prepared for that!

Service was great but the wine and ciders really missed the mark for me. Three stars is generous. I gave most of the wine away as I didn't want to drink it. -Red Fox: Good, sweet red. This was the best of all the tastings I did. Very similar taste to vynecrest and a great holiday wine. -Apple Cider: Horrible, more like a seltzer. No strong apple flavor. -Elderflower: Decent, released the day we visited on 10/9 and much better then the apple cider. -Elderberry: Eh, dry wine taste with a berry finish. -Blueberry: Eh again, I didn't enjoy this. It tastes more of a seltzer then a cider. -Elderberry Apple Cider: Okay, very tart (not overly sweet, not too dry) but a lot of carbonation. Tulsi- Not bad, sweet finish to a dry wine. Reminds me of a bourbon barrel finished wine with a sweet aftertaste.

Drinks were pretty decent, for 2 cups of cider it was $20. Decent atmosphere, however drinks were far too overpriced.

I really give 5 stars because of the service, the chill and open space/atmosphere. We tried a flight of wine and a few cocktails. Some of the wines I didn't really care for but some were great. My husband and I tried the two reds they had and enjoyed them both. I really liked the local art work on display and the layout is good for couples up to medium sized groups. The lady who served us was so easy going, it is worth mentioning again how great the staff is. Their tasting bar area can get packed; so we found an opening and she served us right away and said we could go ahead an find an empty table, that she trusted we would come back to settle our bill when we were ready to leave. We were pleasantly surprised and purchased a bottle of red not only because we enjoyed it, but because we wanted to repay the kindness and trust extended. Thanks for a great experience!

Well, I just love this place and if you're looking for somewhere to get a drink and soak in the gorgeous Delaware water gap area look no further! First of all the beer here was really darn good, a cut above most places! But on top of that, if you'd rather have wine, well help yourself! They also do wine flights here! Both a beer and wine were terrific and above average! But the location and the views give it an extra star and bring it to five stars! The experience is not to be missed and exactly what I was looking for after a hard day of hiking and sightseeing in the Delaware water camp. On top of that, they got some really nice food. If you're hungry, their pizza is great! Great bar pies to hit the spot! You could sit inside or outside. If you want to sit inside, I highly recommend making a reservation even for the middle of the afternoon! That's right even for the middle of the afternoon! If you're ever in the area I would definitely suggest going to this winery. It is located on top of a mountain and the scenery is absolutely beautiful. I came during the winter and it still looks stunning. I can only imagine how it would be in the summertime. I've been to Napa valley and I would say this rivals the beauty of some of the wineries in Napa. Save your flight money and just come to Pennsylvania to this winery. My wife and I had a tasting and some wines. I liked better than others but that's usually how it is at every winery. I really enjoyed two out of the five wines that I tasted so I bought a bottle of the wine that I loved and I ordered a glass of the wine that I liked. The woman who poured my wine was very knowledgeable and seemed to be really into the wine. She also mentioned that she was a cousin to the owner so it really gave me family vibes in this establishment. They also had a separate cheese company putting together cheese plates. So we definitely ordered that as well. This winery has a couple of goods for sale, potatoes, t-shirts, and tchotchkes. I definitely bought a bag of potatoes that is grown on the farm and they were delicious. Inside the winery there was a very cool vibe with a lot of people having tastings. Everybody was in good spirits. Did I mention that the views are spectacular while you're drinking. We couldn't drink outside because it was so cold but I would definitely love to come during the nicer months weather wise. I have zero complaints with this winery and I cannot wait to come back.
