Normally, they have guinea pigs, hamsters, parrots, and other animals for purchase, however, when I stopped in recently (a few days ago), they did not have any pets in store. Apparently, they had a fire a few months ago and are working on making it safe enough to have pets in store again. It'll be about another year and a half before they have pets again here. Staff is always nice here. Never had any issues. Parking; street parking or parking lot!

The worker Jen told me all about this little guy and that this Petco was having a weekend of information and deals that you wouldn't believe. I went in today and I told Tara that I was interested in this little boy. He's not a baby but smaller than any other place had. I had been to 5 places and he was the one. It was a 50% off sale on reptiles! It was a sign to buy him. I got the tank and everything else a couple of weeks ago when I made up my mind this was definitely happening. Jen told me so much about my tortoise and she helped me make up my mind. Tara helped me with picking out a hide and flooring for my new Baby. His name is Tommy the tortoise and if not for the great knowledge and amazing customer service I received I wouldn't have gotten my dream come true. Thank you so much Girls.

We've used a…read morevariety of options for our energetic border collie - from puppy walks when she was younger to now 2 hour group outings. Our dog gets picked up daily in a car full of her best friends (often similar sizes & energy levels!) and goes on an adventure walk somewhere new every day. The dogs run around, sniff, play and explore. It is by far our dog's FAVORITE event of the day. The way she greets Ashlee (her primary walker) makes us wonder who's really #1 in her life. Our dog always comes back tuckered out and ready for a nap (also clean and dry which is a huge bonus with the Boston rain & snow). Her walker also gives her treats and replenishes the food and water bowl. The walker will leave nice update notes and photos daily on a convenient online platform so we can see what our pooch is up to. We also use the app to communicate any schedule changes. The whole process is both easy and fluid, and the HAT owner - Jen - is extremely approachable and friendly. We always feel we can communicate directly with her if anything comes up. It's really the little things that make us feel like our dog is not only getting a chance to do her business, but is also being cared for! One of the best things about HAT is their flexibility. Our dog has one primary walker with whom she's really bonded and absolutely loves, yet there's also a whole team of walkers so that there's always a back up. We never have to worry about finding someone else to walk her - even on holidays. They really take all the work out of it for me and I just come home to a well-exercised, well-socialized, happy as can be pup. Can't beat that.

We recently moved to a 1BR…read morein Roslindale, and it's the first time that my dog Toby (aka, my monster) doesn't have a kitty or doggie roommate. He's a 13 pound shi tzu, with separation anxiety and a mom who (unfortunately) has to work all day, which means that he tends to cause all sorts of trouble when left to his own devices for too long. He's not a huge fan of hikes, or other dogs, so it's not easy to find a reliable dog walker who doesn't walk huge groups at a time or charge an arm and a leg. If Toby could type I'm sure this review would be about how excited he is to have a friend who shows up to go for a walk with him around the block in the middle of the day, rain or shine. For me, it's all about the peace of mind knowing that he's a WHOLE lot happier because he got to go for a walk.

Partly why I fist headed to Ken' is that they had items I could not find elsewhere or on Amazon. Ken's makes a concerted effort to stock hard to find items including canister filter parts. This is my yearly stop for "O rings" and food grade lubricant for servicing my aquarium canister filters. Ken's prices are also very competitive. I recently purchased a Fluval 407, and their Black Friday price beat Amazon and all others. The staff is another reason they excel over many online chain stores. If I go in with a problem, they give me affordable options. In one case, the staff member told me they had no fix; however, he knew where I should go for the solution. That professionalism is one reason why I drive the distance for this store. They have online sales; however, I prefer in store pickup. If I purchase at Ken's website, my purchases are always ready at the register. Ken's does not sell live pets; however, they have most everything a pet could want. This will continue to be my go to location for pet and fish supplies. Give it a try !

Molly worked according to my schedule and came by without a hassle on Sunday before our trip. She was VERY pleasant, and even Steven (our ever shy kitten) even came out from under the bed for a brief hello. Molly had a notebook and specific questions as I showed her where steven's food and litter were kept. I think most pet owners who hire a sitter tend to be fussy. I ended up texting Molly more specific instructions and requests leading up to the trip--all of which she handled without question or complaint. She also had to deal with getting concierge to open our apartment door every time she came by. Steven was fed and had someone to play with in the comfort of our apartment. We got notes and pictures of the furball every day that we were gone. We came back to a clean food bowl and clean litterbox. I am beyond satisfied with Pet Watch Boston.

After growing up on a horse farm and attending undergrad in my home state, I moved to Boston from Kansas (Rock Chalk Jayhawk) for graduate school. I decided I was ready for a kitten, and so now I have a semi-crazy 9 month old cat that doesn't really know her limits. I went on Thanksgiving break to visit the family, and decided to check out Pet Watch Boston because it had the best reviews. And now I know why. Ken is awesome. He came and met Stevie and checked out my apartment for no charge before break. I have a weird key situation and he was really easy going about that and we figured out a way for it to all work out with no worries. He sent me detailed reports of Stevie's life every day (even on Thanksgiving). I am really, really impressed with his professional and also casual attitude, and I know that he actually cares about his clients, and spends time with each critter individually. 10/10 would recommend, will have Ken cat sit Stevie again.
