This is not a ride! The entrance and exit can both be found in the gift shop. It's a walk through experience where you get to read and see animals that exist in the arctic. There are beluga whales, walruses, and seals. It's a great way to cool off and take a leisurely stroll while checking out some animals. There isn't a ton to do, but you can compare how long you can hold your breath to other animals. You can see how long you can hold your hand on an ice wall. Let the games begin!! read more

This is an awesome ride however they are not operating it at this time due to COVID. Only the penguin area is open for viewing. We didn't know this before going in line and was surprised when the doors opened and there was no ride available. We still loved seeing the penguins. Absolutely love these animals and watching them swim around! So even though the ride is not operating, I do recommend coming to see the penguins. Also know that you can use your platinum card as a quick queue so you don't have to spend a long time in line. read more

If you go to Seaworld, this is a must! The line currently goes through the gift shop as the ride is closed and only the animal walkthrough attraction is open. Honestly, it is a great place to cool off or hide out in during the rain. I enjoyed the ice wall, where you can see how long you can hold your hand on it (more pre-covid). Then you get to see the beluga whales, which are beautiful! I believe there are two in the water and it is impressive to watch them. Then you will work your way through the station to see the sea lions and the walruses. I'm pretty sure there were FOUR walruses, which is so cool. A couple of them have massive tusks. They were fun to watch. Most of the times when I come they are all sleeping, so it was amazing to see these huge animals swimming and having fun. Then there is a fun little ice place that the kiddos can climb in and get their pictures taken. When you go down the ramp, there is another interactive spot where you hold your breathe and hold a button to see if you can last underwater as long as some of the animals. A polar bear is 2 minutes! I made it 30 seconds! When you are on this base level, you are viewing the same exhibits as above, but now you can see them in the water (if they are awake). It is a pretty cool experience to be able to see both views. Then you can walk out of the animal areas and there are a couple more informational/interactive things to interact with. One is that you can have your whole party hop up on a scale and see how you compare to the animals. It is a great place to visit, very few people visit as its location isn't the best. This ride, unfortunately, leaves me feeling a bit queasy. I think it's best to probably just skip the ride next time. I do enjoy the exhibit once you step out of the ride. You get a chance to check out beluga whales, HUGE walruses and seals. They are all really beautiful creatures! I remember a few years back when they used to have a polar bear, but unfortunately, no polar bears are currently present. read more

In this part of Seaworld you get to see the beautiful Beluga whale which looks so mystical in the indoor pool! You also come across the Walrus which was so massive but looked like it was pacing back and forth in its small tank! There polar bear was on the floor and looked lonely! They need to get him a mate! It was cute to see all these beautiful animals even though they're in captivity for our enjoyment! read more

The line for the ride part was really long so we opted to do the walk thru part! This was SO COOL! You are basically close enough to touch the penguins. Now since you are actually in the same room as the penguins it is really cold! Which I didn't mind at all I absolutely adore penguins. It was really amazing to get to see them without any glass separating you especially the big thick glass that you usually have separating you. You can interact with them for a extra fee I don't remember how much it cost though . This was one of my favorite attractions at SeaWorld because it was really amazing ! Don't miss out on this free experience! I'm definitely wishing we would have checked out the ride as well now! read more

This is a helicopter stimulator ride. I'm not one to get motion sickness easily. I usually get on roller coasters several times in one visit, but this stimulator ride was able to make me feel queasy. The motions were very harsh and there was a lot of movement the whole ride. If I return to sea world, I'd probably skip this ride. It is pretty cool that once you're done you may be able to see some belugas. Unfortunately, we didn't see any this time around but we did see a walrus sleeping- really neat! Height requirements: 42 inches/107 cm. Hours: 10 am-8:15 pm. You are able to get on the ride with your personal belongings but will have to hold on to them tightly or place them in front of you. read more

To get the full experience (helicopter simulation ride) you must be 42". The ride was cheesy, and actually made me really queasy just from all the vibrations. A lot of children didn't even enjoy it, as they left it crying. However, my redemption comes from the exhibits after. A great experience overall, however the ride could use some TLC. The ride takes you on a helicopter ride to the North Pole and if you get motion sickness you can view a stationary version of this attraction. The ride empties out into the Beluga Whale habitat. Next to the Beluga whales are the harbor seals that love to interact with you in the underwater viewing area. There is also a walrus, who is playful and hilarious. Overall this attraction is great and a great way to get out of the heat since it is all indoors. read more

Came to this exhibit for first time in a few years. Sad to see the polar gone. The helicopter ride before the exhibit needs to be redone. The quality of the video seems like it was done in the 90s. The ride moves you around and seems to only make you sick. The exhibit seemed to be outdated as well. Nothing special. Cool to see the beluga whales and other animals you won't normally see. For the amount of time spent on this to me it does not seem to be worth it. Would suggest if it's your first time at seaworld, otherwise skip it. Especially the 1990s helicopter ride. read more

Getting confused in my own thoughts...this experience is defiantly better then going to your everyday aquarium...this is A good way to take a breather from the theme park rides and show and see something different...They are trying to reinvent themselves since there's some missing display inside the wild Aritc but time will tell if they succeed.... read more

This was the last attraction we visited but by far my favorite! There is an option to ride a simulator helicopter ride or you can just go straight to the exhibits without going on the ride. My husband and 6yr old both enjoyed the Simulator. It reminded me of some of the Simulator rides at Universal Studios. They probably hired the same company to do this for them. The first exhibit you see is of the Beluga whales. I could have watched them all day. They had one male and one female. What beautiful creatures they are! They also had staff members at all the exhibits that were available for questioning about the whales. This part I thought was great because you can really learn alot. The girl that was at this one was quite knowledgeable and I can tell she really enjoyed her job. The area that the whales have to swim in is quite large and they really did a nice job making it look and feel like the Arctic. The next exhibit was the walruses. I was taken aback how huge they were. They would swim right up to the glass so you can see how large they actually are. What amazing creatures! Then there was the Harbor Seals exhibit. One of the was pregnant and lying against the glass because she was a playful one. You could see the baby inside her kicking. Absolutely amazing! Again, the area for the animals was really great and a large size. Seaworld really did a nice job trying to build a haven for all of them. The structure that the whole attraction is housed in was designed to look like one of those shelters that scientists who are living in the Arctic would stay in. It was quite magnificent.
