Lots of cars going in and out, and they have a pretty large lot, and most of the spaces were full. I really wasn't looking for anything in particular, and I was surprised to see they had Yankee candles and a selection of sauces. It is kind of like a market/gift shop. I had walked around and was about ready to leave when I saw homemade fudge! There aren't many places around here that have fudge, and they also had samples, and it was very good! It was fairly pricey, but I got the cookies and cream and chocolate peanut butter. I had sampled the mint chocolate, which was really good. The cookies and cream could have been creamier, but it was still good. While I was outside the front of the store, I noticed a pallet of bagged cow manure for sale. I assume this is probably a regular gardening/farming material (mowing the lawn is about the extent of my yardwork skills), but I found it pretty off putting that there was a pallet of it right outside when they sell so much food. Since they're a market, couldn't they maybe keep it out back and get some when someone requests it or something? I don't know, but it was gross enough to me that I don't think I'll be back.

Nice little FAMILY run Christmas tree farm. The man that helped us said his father used to run the…read morefarm and now he has it. They have a little bit of a walk to the actual trees. So, they have a wagon that carts people out to the trees. It was a nice little touch. When you get out to the trees they have some handsaws that you can take to cut your tree. If you don't want to cut it yourself, then you put a little tag on the tree and they will cut and haul it for you. They had pre-cut concolors, which is what I wanted to buy. The owner brings the concolors in from someplace in Springwater. But my family wanted to hack one down, so we went out to the trees. They have white and blue spruce trees, and I think Douglas Fir. We cut a blue spruce which perfectly fit into our corner. The majority of the trees appear to have grown naturally. They don't seem to do a lot of shaping of them throughout the year. They are still pretty and natural looking. They wrap the trees in the baling stuff and even help load and tie the tree to your car. There's a small shop that they sell homemade wreaths in and some crafts. They also had some cookies and hot chocolate there. A great touch after a cold trip to the trees. Price... very reasonable. I think ours was $35. STILL wish we got the precut concolor though. They hold their needles so well. Maybe they will plant a couple for the upcoming years!
