Park over by the former Sears parking area and bring your raiseable bags. On Saturday's Happy Pickle is there and they are the most amazing pickles - discounts depending on how many you buy. Last week I got a huge butternut squash for $1 and hard to find honeynut squash 2/$1. I have purchased tons of red, green and nappa cabbage more than half off what you would pay at the store. Vendors are helpful, knowledgeable and very friendly. Check the Greece Ridge calendar prior to heading out as this market is not year round - but definitely a place to find great local produce for cheap.

They have things working very smoothly here, if a sign is on the ground that row of apples is not ready to be picked. A sign is up telling you all the details about that apple... it's ready to be picked. There were a good number of people picking apples with us but everyone is spaced out very nicely. Tried a few apples and they were crisp and sweet ... feels like fall is here! Back on the wagon up to the barn, where they have these cute old fashioned scales to weigh your apples and pay. I went back for their Concord grapes, lettuce, cauliflower, sweet potatoes, butter lettuce, sweet potatoes and green beans. If you buy cauliflower at a store right now it is dinky. I bought giant cauliflower here for $4.50 that were probably 7-8 pounds. Perfect for cauliflower steaks and roasting. They even have purple and orange for a pretty plate. It is a cash only, on your honor system. I'd rather come here and get what I want and spend $40 for a huge haul of amazing seasonal, local products that taste way better. I prefer stopping at Testa's vs. a CSA because I can pick what I'd like. They have mini fridges for cooled fruits and veggies. They also sell pumpkins, gourds and mums. Support your local farmer!
