    I had a disappointing experience recently when I purchased a hair topper. It was too thin and…read moredidn't adequately cover my hair loss. I believe the technician should have noticed this and encourage a heavier, denser piece. We had already cut bangs into the topper, which I feel caused more hair loss to the piece on the sides of my hair piece as I tried to hide bald spots. Sadly, I ended up not taking the topper home and lost $200. I feel it was unfair because Toronto Wig Studio could have had a ready-cut topper with bangs for a better fit, and I wish the manager had checked on me to offer support. It's already difficult enough to leave empty-handed, so this was a very upsetting experience for me, and I hope others don't have to go through something similar. Maybe in the future, the studio could keep some ready-to-try pieces on site so customers can test them properly. It was truly a stressful ordeal, and I struggled to feel okay about it once I got home. They did offer me the chance to purchase a fuller hairpiece; however, I would still have to pay $200 for the wig they already cut. It seems a little unfair that they get to keep the cut wig for others to try, which could help improve their experience with other clients.

We insisted that the owner handle this personally. We waited close to a half an hour without even an apology so we walked. I don't care how good their work is we deserve respect. by the way we came from Toronto, so this was the second trip of over an hour each way.

I was looking for a specific product and it was available at the store and cheaper than other beauty supply locations. The store was spacious and had such a vast selection of products, tools, hair and accessories. They even have a system to "ask for help" based on which basket you pick up when you enter the door. While I was shopping I was asked if I wanted some water the associate literally went to get me a water bottle while I shopped. Instead you could have shown a bit of empathy and respect towards your customer, it takes nothing to be kind and caring. I wasn't requesting a refund for the money I spent in your store for a product I cannot use. I just wanted you to listen and examine the item yourself before being insulting, telling me I could have gone elsewhere to shop. All you had to do is have me bring the wig in the store look at it yourself and take it from there. Instead you were very abrupt and rude, cutting me off when I was explaining my concerns and decided not to offer any assistance. I was not rude to you, I was at work and on a short break while speaking to you. I told you that I went out of my way to shop at your store, that I past other beauty supply store I could have gone to but chose to support your store. Your response to me was very insulting, you responded" you could have done that, that would have been ok". That was when I said to you, "you're selling products in your store that's not good quality and refuse to do anything to help your customers." I never swore to you not used any inflammatory language. I was coming from a long day at work and travel a bit of distance to patronize your business. Customer service is very important to stay in business, it show be a 'win-win' outcome. Customers satisfaction is just as important as you making a profit. There are ways to compensate and improve service so that your customers are happy without offering cash refunds. I would have accepted any form of compensation even kind words that would encourage me to continue shopping at your store. Clearly you have no customer service skills and only care about getting customers money. I brought 2 items from your store that is not usable, a wig that is trashy, dry and plastic textured after one wear and a razor that fell apart the first time I used it. You took my money and refused to offer any credit nor take accountability for the poor quality product that's sold in your store. Please sell better quality products, many reviews from unsatisfied shoppers have proven that you're not. Please be patient, kind, genuine and supportive towards your customers. If you refused to help me, the least you could have done was to allow the distributor to do so instead of sabotaging my efforts to get the issue resolved in a positive way. I will shop where I'm respected and appreciated, moving forward. I will also more importantly be mindful of the products I put in my hair/body. with the recent findings about products causing Cancer in Black women, this experience might be a blessing in disguise, an eye opener. You keep your products, I keep my money. I just have to stay away products to does more harm than good. I just have to wear my hair which is quite beautiful, I was just looking for a protective style for hair. My family, acquaintances and myself have been have been supporting your business since you opened 4 years ago. In fact I was so overjoyed when heard about a black business ope up in the community, I made it my duty to be at the opening. It seems however that you're not interested in customers satisfaction, only making profits instead. With the tariff and slow economy, good luck with that attitude.
