I needed help! I called Wigs by Barbara and spoke with Frank who was able to accommodate me with an appointment same day! When I arrived, there were 3 women who began working with me. Apparently no one ever properly fitted the wig to my head and they took care of that. They also sewed in some clips to give me confidence it would stay put, as the headband wasn't sufficient to hold the weight of the updo reliably. They trimmed the lace at the forehead. Maria even did a quick updo style to show me that it was indeed possible to wear this piece that way. I have dealt with 4-5 wig shops in my home state over the last 20 years and this one is by far the finest. The level of service they provide is exceptional! They understand these products well and how to fit them properly, style them beautifully, and have you leave feeling so good about yourself and confident. I cannot say enough about this business and how well they take care of their clients. As I was sitting there waiting for my fitting, another women walked by me and said that I was in very good hands with Maria and the others. He hair looked amazing. There was a man working at the counter, who smiled and appeared friendly. When I asked him to direct me to the product I was looking for, it was in one of the center aisles near the register. I brushed off the feeling, but when I picked up the item off the shelf and turned around to walk back towards the register, I caught the man starting at me intently. He stood there at the edge of the front counter watching me look at the items on the shelf. I'm not even the type of person to touch things on the shelf, unless I am picking it up to buy it. Also, I wasn't carrying any bags, just a small coin purse. So his need to watch me felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. I still foolishly decided to purchase the product I was looking for, despite being watched like some sort of criminal and despite the product being overpriced. When I got home to use the product, it had already been opened. I didn't bother to take it back to the store because the receipt notes no refunds. What a waste. I won't be back here & don't recommend this place. There are plenty of other beauty supply stores in the area that I can happily spend my money on unopened products without being profiled.

My first order arrived perfectly, which already impressed me. But the second, larger shipment completely exceeded my expectations. Every bottle was carefully packed, separated into smaller boxes so nothing would move, and even individually sealed at the caps. I've never seen that level of attention to detail before. On top of that, Chris went out of his way to help me track down a very specific version of the product I needed, even contacting other stores. He was communicative, honest, and genuinely cared about getting it right. He also included extra items and even additional bottles, which was such a thoughtful surprise. I don't know if the error was in the application or the product itself not being good, but I have permanent damage that I am gradually working on cutting off. Do not utilize this service. Your hair will be ruined. I learned after the fact that hair botox is used in very few salons (mostly small ones). Larger and more credible salons do not use this product, and it seems to be for good reason. Most reputable salons have never even heard of hair botox. You're better off getting a keratin treatment like Keratin Complex or Lasio if you just want temporary loosening of your curl pattern. Hair Botox is not to be trusted.
