The staff there are helpful- I've gotten advice many times on which type of hair to get for a Senegalese twist, colors to match my hair when it was dyed, or how much hair I'd need for a new style. They're also great with trying on wigs and giving advice on what works and what doesn't. This is by far my favorite shop, especially compared to some other less pleasant experiences I've had at hair places in the AV.

You can have the best prices and sell the best products but that's still doesn't align with giving out poor customer service! I worked at retail for over 10 years and music is often use to keep the customers engaged in give them a pleasant shopping experience not to draw them away and make them feel uncomfortable. I went in for a simple wash and blow-dry and let her know ahead of time that I have extensions. She told me the starting price was $30. When I asked what the price would be with extensions, she wouldn't give me a clear answer and only said it would be "a little more." The service itself was fine, but she started me late and left me midway through my blow-dry to work on someone else's haircut. In the end, I was charged $130 for a straight blow-dry with no styling. I questioned how the price went from $30 to $130, and she said it was because I have extensions. Since that price felt unreasonable, I asked for curls after the fact. I've received wash, blow-dry, and styled services with longer extensions at higher-end salons, with no waiting, and have never paid over $100. I also mentioned that I do hair in Beverly Hills, and when I expressed that the pricing was excessive, she asked what I charge. After I told her--significantly less--she had nothing to say. I was hoping to find a salon I could visit weekly for blowouts, but unfortunately, I won't be returning.
