We went to Wienerschnitzel last week and the cashier was very rude to us. He said "No more coupons! You can only use two per day". Well, last time I checked we were two people and that is only one per customer. So, we should have been able to utilize another coupon each. However, I didn't want to argue with him, as he was already being rude. We went again yesterday, and at first the customer service was a lot better than last time. The owner was seen making food in the back. He greeted us cheerfully when we walked in. We stopped here tonight to get some chili dogs, corn dogs, and french fries. The dining room was closed. *&^$!!! Against my better judgment, I broke my no drive thru rule and decided to place an order. The staff was friendly, but my order was not correct. When I got home, I realized they forgot the chili on four of my chili dogs. I had asked for the chili on the side for four dogs, not no chili. The positive, the food was fresh. I just wish they had got my order correct. I live all the way across town so going back to make the order right was not worth doing. If you go through the drive thru, make certain your order is correct before you drive away. Otherwise your experience may mirror mine. Better yet, do not dine here unless you can go inside to eat. Odd, the first thing I noticed is that there was no restroom inside the building. Whether there is a restroom at all was not apparent. That said, the service was okay, if slightly slow because there didn't seem to be enough employees. At 100+ degrees F, there were plenty of people ordering Tastee Freeze ice cream. I'm always amused that the Caramel Crunch Freezee never looks like the photograph. This one looked better than others I've had, but still kind of looked squished inside the cup with a lid. The service was friendly and she didn't take long to put my freezee together. It tasted better than most I've tried. It was also nice to see people cleaning the tables and the floor. read more

I was excited to take advantage of the National Hot Dog Day 5 chili dogs for $5 promotion. I ordered two of that special, plus an order of jalapeño poppers (with a coupon for $2). Pretty simple to total up since everything was whole numbers this time... 2x$5 + $2 = $12.00 + tax (7.875% in Modesto); $12.95 total. Payment of $14.02 was requested, however, and I pointed out that they were off by a little over $1. The employee argued with me that I wasn't including tax, and that's what the computer said to collect. I tried to explain how it can't be right, and the employee slammed the window closed and walks away yelling. The manager(?) Melissa arrived a moment later, listened politely, and called her "higher up" to discuss the issue. I think she could see my numbers made sense. I suggested they take $1 off, as a courtesy if nothing else. Melissa's "higher up" said that would not be acceptable. I appreciated Melissa's patience and am not leaving a 1 start rating. In the end, they chose to waste a $12 order of food and to irritate 6 drive up customers behind me to be "right". I immediately visited store #181 (McHenry & Needham) and everything rang up correctly. So, at least #181 got it right... read more

Went through the drive- thru and order chili cheese fries. After getting my food, we drove off. While driving down the street my husband opened up the box and grabbed a fry. He then informed me that there was mustard on them. He showed me the chili cheese fries and they have mustard on them under the chili and the cheese. I don't know if they thought it would be funny or if it was a mistake. But i am glad i didn't eat them. Because i am allergic to mustard. I was so angry i knew it was best that i didn't go back over there because someone would be wearing that food. I will never go back there again. And i hope eveyone checks there food before they eat it! read more

I think the place would be better if they didnt have teenagers working there that look like they can careless about the customer... I shouldn't have gross things going through my mind as I wait for my food...I don't think I should wonder if my food is getting spit on or messed with in the back...the 2 times that I have been in there I felt uncomfortable about keeping my order...and the 2nd time I went in my chili cheese fries had NO chili or cheese...I was given no receipt..( I felt a lil over charged )..I didnt want to ask for one in fear of what would happen to my food & because the employees act like you are bothering them.....You'll never see me go back there again..nothing against teenagers...I've been places where the teenagers show respect and show they like what they are doing to serve you..but not Wienerschnitzel employees. read more

For corn dogs I give them 4 stars. Different than other fast food and good chili cheese dogs too. Corn dogs are made to order, and you have to wait a while but it's worth the wait. Service was polite and efficient. read more

Who doesn't love hotdogs..... Don't know much about the other food this place puts out but corndogs, hot dogs and chili cheese fries are what keeps this place ticking. Always enjoy it plus they have tastee freeze dipped cones make sure to grab one. read more

Nasty AF! While waiting for my food in the drive through, I witnessed an employee (Let's call him..."Ammar") walk around towards the soda Machine and use his personal cup to scoop up ice from the bin and walk back around towards the fryer and drink his soda. No wash of hands, or an ice scoop used to prevent any germs, bacteria, contamination, diseases, etc.. I confronted the 2 employees working and one denied it, and Ammar seemed to be stunned he got caught but acted like "what..what happened.." The food is ALWAYS super fresh when I arrive for lunch. The resturant is always clean and well maintained. The employees are super friendly and helpful. I love the crew there. Why hasn't anyone yelped them yet? First of all AWESOME customer service! I went through the drive through and I ordered a chocolate chip cookie dough freeze, I told them I had a dollar off coupon, they asked me what the coupon number was and then automatically gave me what I owed. TWO THUMBS up just for that. If you are like me or not like me but when you use a coupon through the drive through they usually tell you they will tell you your total when you get to the window. Feeling horrible because you have to sit there and find the money there and not while waiting. So yay for codes on the coupons to make this process easier. Then when I pull up I already have my money ready. All of a sudden this lady comes out and I'm confused so I roll down my window and she says my total so I give it to her and hand her the coupon. She tells me I can keep my coupon and re-use it! THREE THUMBS UP if I had three, I can re-use my coupon, really! Then I sit there for awhile waiting for the guy in front of me to get his food so I can get my ice cream. Then she comes out with my ice cream!!!!!! Yes she came out twice instead of me sitting there waiting for the guy in front of me with his huge order. So after she hands me my ice cream she says he will be outta your way soon. WOW! Had the worst experience here.i get to the drive threw and lupe v. took like 5 mins to cash me out then took forever to get me my food.she looked like she wasn't in a hurry at all. Then when I get my fries they were super nasty and soggy and they weren't even warm.they were cold and nasty. Wow!!!!!!! First & last time I ever got to this place! My son finds a mustache hair in his fries moments later as I'm finishing up my hot dog they're is a curly hair underneath my cheese! Could not believe it! Asked for a full refund after spending $35 there! But they are not allowed to give refunds is what I was told. Not sure why hair nets are not worn especially when handling food.
