I have been working with Liz over the past year during an extremely difficult and transitional time…read morein my life. I felt completely overwhelmed, lost, scared, and static. I came to her feeling like a shell of myself, not knowing what to do. From the beginning of working with her, she immediately made me feel safe, heard, and at peace. At times, I felt like my issues were too much, too much for her to even take in, but that anxiety completely went away with her comfort and understanding. Through her healing using brain integration, I have not only been able to cope with the recent traumatic events in my life, but also navigate through major depression and helplessness. Additionally, her healing sessions have had positive physical effects on my body - I no longer suffer from acid reflux and stomach ulcers, which I have had for over 25 years. I am currently in menopause and my joint pain symptoms have improved, and my insomnia has decreased. There aren't words that can express how thankful I am for her healing and care. Also, I live on the West Coast of the United States, so we work remotely. Energy healing works! Liz is proof.

I whole heartedly and most enthusiastically recommend Liz Elia…read more She is one of those special people who are both so incredibly skilled and very kind. She is very intuitive, and really knows her stuff. She is incredibly gentle and also very strong and not afraid to give you her perspective. She is the kind of person who makes you feel understood and who lets you be yourself. She celebrates who I am and who others are, and has a knack for empowering you to be fully yourself. She has a clear, kind way of seeing things and often sees things that I might miss. And she can give you this wisdom in a way that is respectful of your dignity. She has a stillness and peace about her that is very healing. She's very genuine and real. Since I started working with her I have been feeling much better emotionally, mentally, spiritually and physically. Her presence is loving and calm. She is a true healer, and I would recommend her to anyone and everyone seeking healing and well being. So grateful to her. Rabbi Shifra Freewoman

There are not many herb schools in the country that cover the amazing depth and breadth of material…read morefound in the advanced course of study, modeled on Paul Bergner's teachings. If you're serious about studying herbs and you're located in the northeast or looking to move here, this school provides a rigorous practical background in the techniques and practices of traditional western herbalism. As a graduate of the apprenticeship and the two year advanced studies program, I highly recommend this school. When I moved to the northeast a quality herb school was high on my priority list, and I had completed an herbal apprenticeship elsewhere. I wanted to jump straight into the advanced program but was convinced by Katja to start with the apprenticeship and I'm so glad I did, because there was almost no overlap with my previous program. My knowledge of herbal energetics, actions and preparations, body systems, physiology and traditional food ways grew by leaps and bounds (before this I had a solid biology background). The vitalist principles foundational to holistic health; including sleep, movement, diet and stress management, are instilled throughout the coursework and laid the groundwork for my current practice. The apprenticeship is for all kinds of folks who want a foundation in herbal studies for personal education. The advanced program is great for anyone wanting to dive deeper, especially if they have questions about how to set up an herbal business. The advanced program includes training for the sorts of issues you are likely to encounter as an herbalist working in an urban setting. I find the staff knowledgeable and committed to excellence. Great if you want to really sink your teeth into the material. Substantial.

She really knows her stuff. -She is insightful. She will tell you things about your health that you suspected, but that doctors told you were not real. -She is compassionate. She brings the right balance of professional/personal. -She walks the talk, and lives her life according to the principles she will use to help your healing. She is the real deal. -She will tell it to you straight, but for someone with very strong convictions, she is also extraordinarily non-judgemental. That's pretty rare. -She will listen to you, and believe you. You will feel heard and understood, and she never makes you feel rushed. -She will come up with a plan, and work with you to make sure it is successful. Katja is awesome, a great ally in healing. I knew Katja was experienced and respected by the hebalist community before I sat down with her,…read morewhat I didn't know was exactly how good she was. Within a few moments, Katja had identified several issues just by looking at me - one of which I had specifically asked my doctor about and had been told didn't exist! Katja said that it wouldn't likely show up on a medical test for several years, but that I was right to be concerned about it now. She explained why I have times where my body just keeps screaming for more food - even though I've eaten. She gave me some easy-to-do changes to my diet that are going to make a huge difference in my life. I'm on track to better health already! Thanks Katja!

I had an appointment scheduled, and unfortunately I wasn't able to make it. I called them at the time of my scheduled appointment but got no answer. I left a message hoping I'd get a call back, but none ever came. I either would've come in later if possible, or rescheduled. Instead of calling me back they simply charged me for the appointment. That, to me, is not how you teat a client. If I had never called, or was just a poor patient I can see that being the course to take, but if i Try to reschedule, or come in later that day they should work with me, and not simply charge me. I hope they improve that business practice.I'll find a different wellness establishment.

Stay far, far, far away from this place. I don't know how there are legitimate 5 Star reviews here…read morebecause my experience was so bad and so disturbing I almost filed a complaint with the city. I made an appointment three weeks in advance for an intake and an Abangha massage, received paperwork, filled it out, had my appointment confirmed. Showed up on the day of the appointment and the practice was closed, no one there. After 20 minutes I called the practice and the "doctor" answered, said she had no knowledge of our appointment (again, I have emails from her confirming) and that she will take a cab to come in, be there in 5-10 minutes. 35-minutes later she arrives. We go into her office, she tells me the massage part will be postponed for the next week. Okay, fair enough, she's killed an hour of our time already. As the session begins she does claims all my emails and info are in her spam box so she has no background on me. She then insists on conducting the appointment without masks on, which is VERY illegal. I thought she was doing this so that she could do vitals but guess what, she never does vitals: no pulse nor tongue checks nor any intake information of my body at all. The next 70- minutes are spent with her doing a pseudo-psychic, astrological reading of me where she spends the time saying that I need to divorce my wife and get my own place and that when I leave my wife that all my health concerns will vanish (which are real, documented, rare diseases that is see a team of doctors and specialists at Mt Auburn for), that they are in my head (so 170+ tumors are all in my head), and once I am free of my wife and change my attitude that I will mysteriously be healed. We spend no time on diet, my diagnosis, my lifestyle, she never looks at my body, though she makes lots of judgements on my visible tattoos and she concludes that the only people with tattoos are mentally ill. Our session ends in the middle of one of her long ramblings as a new patient arrives. She promises to send me follow up reading, pamphlets, videos (which she never does), and then collects $100 from me for services she never provides. Having lived in India and having worked with Ayurvedic doctors and practitioners in the past this is nothing like I've ever experienced before. This is the very opposite of what Ayurvedic medicine, any medicine, she represent and people like this should not be able to practice. Avoid this fake doctor and her damaging practice.

The work she put into her very detailed 12-page Wellness Report that followed our discussion was beyond my expectations. I slowly started to incorporate her suggestions and began feeling a physical and psychological change within a few weeks. When I was fully vaccinated I visited Mona in person for abhyanga and champi treatments. So far I have had two sessions. Mona's massage technique got my body moving again after the side effects of my sedentary lifestyle due to covid. Her oils are calming which is a nice complement to the peaceful awakening of my energy and muscle movement. I'm thrilled to be enjoying continual vitality after each treatment. The lingering energetic aspect is something I haven't experienced before. It's a wonderful benefit that has changed my outlook on life. I feel alive again and calm. Day by day, I am working my way back to the active lifestyle my body, mind, and soul have missed over the past year and a half. Mona has lived an Ayurvedic life since she was a child. She warmly radiates her compassion to help people. Sharing her wealth of experience and knowledge to assist people to live their life with happiness is her heartfelt reward. I highly recommend Eternal Healing Ayurveda. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with Mona.
