For a package that weighs far less than a pound (was a three small brooches and two stick pins, probably between 6-8 oz all boxed up) I was charged over $40?!?! This package would cost around $5 to ship anywhere and at most $3-4 for packing materials, the price I was charged is completely outrageous! This on top of an already pretty high buyer's premium at 18%. Would not recommend to my worst enemy, Scheerer McCulloch Auctioneers should be ashamed of themselves. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

They assured me my items would bring me good money and they told me I could go through my items before they were sold so I did. She would not let me have some of my most expensive items (Capidomonte), (Waterford Crystal) etc. Then when I went to get my check the owner changed the commission rate! I could not find the contract at that time as I was in between houses. I got a lousy 1,327.87. That's it for beautiful antique furniture and collectibles. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS AUCTION SERVICE.
