Bob went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. He told us what the items were specifically and their current value with such expertise and kindness. I went to Fairfield's on a recommendation of a friend to have my rings resized. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. What I thought was impossible (rings were resized twice before elsewhere) was possible, and the rings look amazing with no signs of the split one ring had on the back, and the poor resizing efforts in the past. I have had the pleasure of over 40 years business experience through several generations of the Fairfield's. It wasn't all business, they took the time to make it an educational experience. They learned the level of coins and jewelry that I wanted, and assured I didn't get over or under valued items. That experience developed into friendship with both the owners and workers. The Fairfield's are highly professional, very friendly with everyone, couldn't be more helpful. I'm always amazed at how in depth their knowledge of the product which are their forte. Now that, I am on my last leg, I get to see more of the other side of the business - their purchasing experience. Went to this jewelry store because it was local to get my watch band shortened. Ask the lady at the counter how much it would be..... she forwarded me to an associate there. Gentlemen took my watch and went over to his counter and it literally took him 30 seconds to take out one link. I figured it would be free or next to free since there wasn't much to it. The guy says, "oh will charge you $10 today."..... I didn't say anything but I thought wow, $10 for 30 seconds of work. Businesses don't operate like they used to. Just for the principle sake, I wouldn't buy anything from this company. Also I might add, while I was waiting ...there were quite a few shady people standing around. I didn't realize that they also bought jewelry and watches etc. Just seems like a shotty place. Take it for what it's worth. read more

Ha! I'm honored to write the first review for Fairfield's. These people are classy, honest, very professional, and extremely knowledgeable, not to mention super friendly. I mostly go here to see the coins as I dabble into coin collecting every now and then. But I also know they have a wide selection of jewelry and other fine items. I consider myself very much an amateur hobbyist when it comes to coin collecting and what I like most is that these guys are so tolerant of my questions and don't ever make me feel inferior. This is also a great place if you're into rare and valuable coins as they have their fair share of those too. Me? I'm more of a penny collector and state quarters kind of guy. This is also a great place to get proof sets, coin folders, and any other coin collecting supplies you could ask for. Their prices are right on and I always just have an all around pleasant time whenever I stop in. We were looking for a 1 carat solitaire certified diamond ring with good color/overall quality and I was told by many local jewelry companies I could not get into that ring for my budget until I met Jessica at Fairfields!
