Outstanding experience! We met with Bob to sell some of my grandfather's treasures that he had saved (primarily a range of collectible currency). Bob went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable. He told us what the items were specifically and their current value with such expertise and kindness. We were pleased with the buyout process and the amount received. Everyone at Fairfield's is professional and welcoming. Michael, the jeweler gemologist, has such a passion for what he does and wealth of knowledge that we enjoyed every moment speaking with him. We will definitely be returning to Fairfield's in the future to both sell and purchase. Definitely an all-star experience. read more

Fairfield Coins is a great place for everyone from the most experienced to the beginner. Advanced collectors will be able to find key dates and high grade certified coins. Beginners can get guidance from an experienced staff to help. Someone who just wants to sell coins can always rest assured that they will give you a Fair price for your coins. They also have one of the largest selections of jewelry in the area. If you are looking for an engagement/wedding ring you want to compare. My kids compared and they were able to get higher quality rings at a far more reasonable price. read more

Great selection of coins. Friendly and helpful service. My favorite coin store and I've been to dozens and dozens across the country. Coins are lower in price than national lists, great value. read more

I went to Fairfield's on a recommendation of a friend to have my rings resized. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. What I thought was impossible (rings were resized twice before elsewhere) was possible, and the rings look amazing with no signs of the split one ring had on the back, and the poor resizing efforts in the past. Mike is a true craftsman, an artisan who will work with you. I will definitely return with all of my jewelry needs and purchases in the future. Thanks again! read more

I have been in a few times in the last couple years. Everyone one that I have dealt with there are very knowledgeable, and will help. Even though you are in the presence of folks that deal with tens of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise, I feel they genuinely will help with the littlest of purchases. I highly recommend them. read more

Ha! I'm honored to write the first review for Fairfield's. These people are classy, honest, very professional, and extremely knowledgeable, not to mention super friendly. I mostly go here to see the coins as I dabble into coin collecting every now and then. But I also know they have a wide selection of jewelry and other fine items. I consider myself very much an amateur hobbyist when it comes to coin collecting and what I like most is that these guys are so tolerant of my questions and don't ever make me feel inferior. This is also a great place if you're into rare and valuable coins as they have their fair share of those too. Me? I'm more of a penny collector and state quarters kind of guy. This is also a great place to get proof sets, coin folders, and any other coin collecting supplies you could ask for. Their prices are right on and I always just have an all around pleasant time whenever I stop in. And like most jewelry/coin shops they buy and sell silver, gold, etc. Stop in, this place is great! read more

Went to this jewelry store because it was local to get my watch band shortened. Ask the lady at the counter how much it would be..... she forwarded me to an associate there. Gentlemen took my watch and went over to his counter and it literally took him 30 seconds to take out one link. I figured it would be free or next to free since there wasn't much to it. The guy says, "oh will charge you $10 today."..... I didn't say anything but I thought wow, $10 for 30 seconds of work. Businesses don't operate like they used to. Just for the principle sake, I wouldn't buy anything from this company. Also I might add, while I was waiting ...there were quite a few shady people standing around. I didn't realize that they also bought jewelry and watches etc. Just seems like a shotty place. Take it for what it's worth. read more

I have had the pleasure of over 40 years business experience through several generations of the Fairfield's. It wasn't all business, they took the time to make it an educational experience. They learned the level of coins and jewelry that I wanted, and assured I didn't get over or under valued items. That experience developed into friendship with both the owners and workers. The Fairfield's are highly professional, very friendly with everyone, couldn't be more helpful. I'm always amazed at how in depth their knowledge of the product which are their forte. Now that, I am on my last leg, I get to see more of the other side of the business - their purchasing experience. What I enjoyed as a hobby all these years turned into a very profitable investment for me just when I needed it. I'm sorry to read the reviews of Kurt N and James R. I can assure you this is a well kept and organized business. It is not the described "shotty" shop. They are not snobby people that treat people that come in in after work in work clothes differently. I've seen the arrival of some - being one myself. They even take time with beginners and young collectors - even giving starter coins, etc. If you are shopping or selling jewelry, coins, etc. give Fairfield a shot. You won't regret it. The people who operate this business are knowledgeable and helpful. When I asked questions, the employee gave me detailed answers with additional explanations that helped me to gain more knowledge than my original question had anticipated. And, they did not talk down to me even though I was a novice. Good people to do business with! read more

I went to Fairfield's with my fiancé to look at engagement rings and wedding bands. Jessica was extremely helpful and super knowledgeable. We were so pleased with the level of service and friendliness that we ended up buying a couple of confirmation gifts as well. Definitely the place to go in Fort Wayne for jewelry. read more

We were looking for a 1 carat solitaire certified diamond ring with good color/overall quality and I was told by many local jewelry companies I could not get into that ring for my budget until I met Jessica at Fairfields! They truly have the best prices in town. We bought my engagement ring and both bands there. They have a great selection but she also ordered lots of samples in for me to try. If you are in the market for jewelry, especially for a wedding, they are worth the trip!! read more

Went to Fairfield's to sell some gold, have done business with them for years. Definitely one of if not the best of all Jewelry & Coin stores in the area. Very fair, professional and friendly. Jim is a very involved and helpful owner. Would recommend anyone to visit their location, you will not be disappointed. Plus they have a great selection of Art Pottery. read more
