I could get it to work to either turn the lights on or shut them off but not both. I went to the store, with my receipt, to return the item. At first, they stated they got it working and it was not defective. ( They actually got it to turn on an item which I also did). Then they said they could not accept the return because I did not have the original packaging and therefore they could not resell it. I asked how are they going to sell an item that is not working properly. They still refused to accept the return. I left the timer with them and walked out of the store. We will never return. Earlier this week, I had to install a urinal at a nearby fire station, and ran into an unexpected problem that required a trip to the nearest hardware store. I was greeted as soon as I walked into the store, and directed to the proper aisles, and found everything I needed to finish my job. Their aisle of fasteners is truly a wonder (kind of like a Superman's Cave for handymen), and includes a section of chrome-plated fasteners, which would be a great resource if you are working on a motorcycle or custom car. Being a plumber, I also had to peruse the plumbing section, and was greatly impressed at the variety of fittings that even a plumbing supply store wouldn't carry. They also sell common sizes of water and drainage pipe, as well as hoses, tubing and wire. Since Sears closed at the Rhode Island Mall, Ace hardware stores are now the only places locally to buy Craftsman tools. Employees I encountered were hardworking and pleasant. There is plenty of parking in the plaza's huge lot (just be careful, as cars tend to zoom to and fro from all directions). Indeed, I could find no reason to detract from a 5-star rating (okay, so they have some black tire marks on their floor, but that's not reason enough - it's a hardware store, after all!).

I loved how many varieties of heirloom tomatoes they had. It was honestly so hard to chose, there were so many awesome options. I loved their little blurb about what each tomato was like. They had a large variety of annuals and perennials as well, the pricing is pretty comparable to other nurseries, probably a touch higher. The employees are friendly and there is usually always someone around to help!
