I am so glad I did. The online scheduling process was quick and easy and I got right in. My experience with Gianni was excellent from the start. He is very friendly, easy to talk to, and clearly passionate about his craft. He cares about each and every haircut and wants his customers to leave confident, looking good and happy with their experience. Interestingly, like a physician keeping medical charts, he takes notes on every customer and haircut, so when you come back and want "the usual" (or maybe something different), he knows what he did the last time and can fine tune from there. I'm surprised more barbers don't do this. Personally, this is exactly what I am looking for in a barbershop. I highly recommend Gianni's and will certainly be going back.

Even before arriving, the online scheduling process was fast, easy and smooth. When I arrived, I found a clean, welcoming waiting area. Nice TV, with the Olympics on. Magazines. Comfy chairs. A little privacy for whoever is getting their hair cut because of a sort of wall to separate the waiting area from the working area. One barber chair. Everything scheduled. No waiting (unless you're early like I was). Gianni is an extrovert. He's a good talker and clearly enjoys shooting the breeze with customers. He asks questions and takes notes to make sure you are getting exactly what you want, and will continue to do so going forward. If you're not sure, he's happy to offer suggestions. He is skilled, precise, and really does care that you look your best when you leave the shop. Even when you're done, he'll ask if there's anything else he can do for you (eyebrows?) and he really wants you to feel good when you're done. The price is also right and very fair for the great customer service. If you're in the area and not going here, you're missing out. Try and see for yourself.

Walk through the door and there's three guys on their cell phones barely looking up at me. I ask if they have time to cut my hair. Two of them say that they have appointments at 6:40 PM. I call a few businesses and no dice, but I call this place and Peter, the business owner, answers the phone. I tell him specifically that I need a beard trim and he tells me that they are not taking appointments over the phone but to go to his website. I tell him thanks but all I need is a beard trim and do you think there might be someone available for that. He says, I would need to make an appointment for the beard trim, but Jim is available at 1:30. Book it on the website. It's at 1:30. So I plan my whole day around this 1:30 slot, which is right in the middle of the day (on my vacation of which I could be doing other things) because he told me it was available. I leave my girlfriend to wait for me and get here...and as soon as I get here, Jim comes outside and says he can't trim my beard. Just around the sides of my mask. I tell him that Peter told me specifically that I could. Apparently Peter was standing right next to Him and Jim just looks at him. Peter, says excuse me? I repeated to him that he had told me to make an appointment for a trim on the website. He says, nope...no you didn't. Some now I'm angry. This guys wastes my time...and then lies about speaking to me on the phone. I tell him that he's wasted my time and he reiterates that it's not his decision...it's the governments. Why didn't he tell me that on the phone?? Instead I waste a whole day waiting around for an appointment that would never happen. I tell him that this will end up in a review and he calls me an A$$hole and to go back to Massachusetts and trim the beard myself. What a great guy. Thanks Pete.
