First time here w my son! He felt like a million bucks when he was finished, and he looked great! Definitely carried himself a little taller when he came out! Also, in 2013, when my dad was sick in the hospital (South County), they sent someone out to trim him up. Was really important because it was his last week of life, and he always took great pride in his appearance. They made him look and feel wonderful, and they were kind and spoke to him about sports and current events. I've had Mike cut my hair twice now. I'm from the state of Maine and I truly struggled to find a place that could cut my hair correctly that left me feeling good. I don't think I've ever had a better haircut then Mike provided. That's hard to say when I've been having the same woman cut my hair for 17+ years, I could never tell her this. So I read the reviews and was truly excited to get my first beard trim since COVID. My beard is a full and major feature of my face and I'm pretty particular about who I'll let touch it. I was really excited to get to know Pedro and his team. They seemed very capable. So I called to make the appointment. The guy on the phone asks me what I want done. I clearly say a beard trim. He tells me no problem, come at 2pm. I arrive, the place is pretty cool and I'm immediately greeted by the 3 guys on staff. They ask me what I'm here for. I tell them a 2pm beard trim with Mike. They say "Sure! Have a seat, he'll be right with you." I sit and I wait. Mike's working on a kid and the kid actually looks great. He's got sharp lines and carvings... could be considered artistic. But then I watch Mike plow through his own work.... 3 different times until the kid ends up with just a regular fade. What??! And worse, I've now been waiting 45 minutes past my appointment. But ok, I think, now's my turn and while I've got some concerns about how long the kid took, I figure I'll get great attention. However, Mike is seemingly oblivious, and Pedro points at me and tells him I'm his 2pm. Not sure why that was needed when I'm there the whole time and all the announcements. I felt like Pedro was just aware of how long I'm waiting, as they are now by appointment only and no walk-ins. So as I'm standing to approach the chair, they ask me what I'm here for. In a little shock, wondering where there could be any doubt now, I again say a beard trim. Immediately they say, "Oh sorry, we can't do that. You need to keep your mask on." I'm flabbergasted. Please don't see me as anti-mask, quite the opposite. But I called the shop, I told them I want a beard trim, they give me an appointment, I checked in when I got there and again tell them it's for a beard trim, and then they have me wait 45 minutes to tell me they can't do a beard trim???!!! WTF??!! One important factor.... I'm bald as a bowling ball!!! I mean they couldn't give me a hair cut if I gave them a pair of tweezers!!!! So... here's a guy who tells them what I want in advance, they give me the appointment for said service, I show up and check in announcing again what I'm there for, I don't have a stitch of hair on my head other than a lion's mane covering my face, and they literally waste 45 min of the middle of my Saturday. Now I get it... mistakes are made. But when I'm rightfully upset and flabbergasted, their only response is to show me the door and obnoxiously wish me a good day 50 times, which any linguist would easily tell you was their way of telling me F. U. The worst of this is they do seem to be a talented bunch. I could have been an extremely dedicated customer. But when you do wrong you admit it. And you make up for it. Tuck your proud tail between your legs and find a way to make up for it. Don't stand on some high horse because right now you're popular and think you can be dismissive... Thanks for letting me get that off my chest. You all just saved me $125 in therapy read more

Couldn't get in to see the women who has done my hair for 16 years and I was way overdue. A friend told me about this guy Pedro at Jordan's New Style. It took a few tries to find it. I tried calling and it was busy constantly. So I stopped by. I met Pedro who was actually getting his own cut but he still gave me an appointment next day. I showed up on time and he was prepped. He asked me what I wanted and generally the stylist takes it as a loose suggestion. Pedro asked a few more questions and proceeded to become intensely focused. He did EXACTLY what I asked for. As I was sitting in the chair I was having flashbacks of being 9 and sitting in the barbers chair. He uses a lot of very old school products and the smells kept the memories rolling. He then used shaving cream and a straight razor to tighten all the lines. Old school! No shit I got the best haircut I have had since I was 19. The best thing is that it's 8 minutes from home. I had my kid call and make an appt. By evening I referred 2 others. I'm down with a new barber and shop. Prices are incredibly reasonable and the shop is reminescent of an old school neighborhood barber shop. I didn't just get a haircut today. Pedro took me on a trip down memory lane, with a great cut to boot. Customer for life! read more

Hands down the best haircut I ever got. I will always be a loyal customer here. The first time I went was when I got a terrible haircut from another barbershop. Zach say me down and saved me! Ever since then I will only sit in Zach's chair. The other guys do a great job too. First time I went it was busy only 2 barbers. Waited about an hour and 30 finally got in the chair. Great cut and shave but all in close to 3 hours for a cut. Stopped by 3 weeks later figured I would try it again. Walked in they said I would be next after the person in the chair was done. One hour and 20 minutes later waiting for this person to be completed with his cut and shave, I am not an expert but it wasn't an elaborate cut, I decided I had enough and left. I would rate the cut a 5 but I can't take 3 hours, half that time waiting for a cut and shave. Even if I walked in, sat in a chair, for me, a cut and shave time of an hour plus is to long. I am not looking for Eric scissor hands but would like to get in and out within an hour. Again 5 stars for the cut great job but time in the shop 1 star. If you don't mind spending 3 hours in a barbershop then go for a cut. If you are like me and want a quality cut but don't want to spend the better part of the morning or afternoon to get it probably not the best choice. Sorry guys really wanted this to be my go to but not for me based solely on the time commitment required. I am sure many of your customers enjoy the experience just doesn't work for me.
