New owner has made great upgrades. Clean and friendly atmosphere, lots of new machines, and there is a free coffee station!

I ventured to this studio quite a few times over the last year and was not too impressed…read more 1) They do not do inversions, and when I asked the question when I signed up, they avoided the question. 2) I was told I'd have to prove myself before trying more difficult classes. I therefore had to take a level 1 course, followed by a 1.5 and then a level 2 course. They should trust people when they say they have taken a bunch of reformer Pilates classes in the past. 3) The classes are on the shorter side. They only last 50 minutes and don't cover a full body workout in the short class time. I'd prefer a longer class of at least a full hour. 4) It is almost impossible to get into classes in the evening. I had to book classes more than 1 month ahead of time to get into the scheduled time slot. CLASS REVIEWS: * CP Reformer Flow 1: This is an entry level reformer Pilates class. It felt more like a stretching class with some pulsing exercises during various squats. I didn't find this class difficult and didn't break a sweat. It's definitely for a beginner or someone who wants a good stretch. * CP Suspend 1.5: This class was a bit more intense than the level one class. It integrates TRX and reformer Pilates into the workout. The class I attended was primarily made up of a lower body workout with some shoulder integration. The instructor also integrated a cool step machine called an EXO-Chai, that you lay-on and push your hands into so you can work your core and upper body. CP Reformer Flow 1.5: This class was an ok workout. I found the springs they had us use a bit light but it was a good core and leg workout. It wasn't too challenging so it is definitely good for a novice to intermediate reformer Pilates student. CP Reformer Flow 2: This class predominantly used the EXO-Chair and did not use the reformer Pilates machine. I was quite disappointed because my favourite part of Pilates is the reformer machine. The instructor had us on the floor and using the EXO-Chair because she said it was more challenging than the reformer. Would I go back? I would go back if they have a class available at a time that works for me. Would I join their monthly membership? No, I would not because the odds are I would waste sessions since there won't be a class available at a convenient time.
