There is a great variety of classes offered for both heated and non heated. Staff is extremely friendly and accommodates all levels of yoga experience. Blocks, straps, bars are all provided during classes and there is even free yoga mat storage upstairs. Everyone loves being here and the atmosphere is a reflection of this. The vibe is relaxed and loving; caring about the experience and the development of your practise. Changerooms are more than adequate for getting into comfortable clothing and storing away valuables. There are even showers and a vanity area to get yourself cleaned up after a hot yoga class. Schedules are posted online and the studio has a great presence on social media, which allows them to post updates such as substitute instructors or class cancellations immediately. There is something for everyone and being open every day of the week adds to the convenience. I thoroughly enjoy each time I attend a class here and feel recharged after heading home. Moksha Yoga Maple is a brand new yoga studio that opens up at Vaughan/Maple area…read more Yes this is another one of those heated/hot yoga studios.... doing the same thing as others.. but there are several aspects of the this studio that made my Passport to Prana visit really enjoyable. Since it is a brand new studio in a brand new retail plaza.. Moksha Yoga Maple can build and design exactly the way the owner envisioned, compared to a lot of other studios that need to convert or remodel existing spaces/business. There are tons of little cubicles for your shoes right when you walk in.. and thanks so much that there are padded benches for people actually sit down and put on/off their shoes!! hopping on one leg and balancing trying put on winter boots are not fun! The staffs are really friendly! Welcoming to first timer and everyone new to the practice/studio. The teacher, Vanessa actually sat in the front and reading all the new wavier forms people signed and ask questions if anyone new to the practice individually or have any concerns even before going inside the practice room. Vanessa even explain to all the newcomers what to expect...I really like that caring vibe... and how she really respect the students and herself as a teacher. The whole studio has a colour theme "Green". All the towels, (BTW the rental towel is one of those yogitoes) , mats, painted walls.. are all in the same colour theme.. The studio is small - only one instructor teaches at a time as there is only one room but this is why I loved it. Galina was a wonderful instructor who often corrected me (I truly appreciated this). So if you do prefer having that option, you would be quite happy with the varieties of the classes. Lockers with self selected combinations no longer located inside the change rooms, but in a good way as at least the woman change room is much much more spacious! There is also a lounge in the front where you can chill before or after classes with a cup of hot tea! Free class for everyone the first week during grand opening, good way to try out the studio without any commitment!

HC? Hard Core? or Hot Core?…read more I really enjoyed my class at Hot Yoga Wellness Woodbridge. The sequencing though simple with really fundamental poses, but with the heat.. it ended up to be a good challenging workout. Drip Drip Drip... I felt like I just sweat everything out....even the Sapporo I drank the evening before... Not the hottest class I been to, but even lying there pre class, you do feel like you are somewhere under the warm sun in Caribbean..... The studio itself though just have really basic facilities: 3 showers and 1 bathroom. No lockers. Clean but a little dated and in need for a facelift, this location used to be Moksha until it rebrand themselves to Hot Yoga Wellness. There are 2 doors for entering and exiting the practise room.. one leads to the reception area, the other to the ladies changing room.. (I secretly hoping my Yelp Friend would have picked the right door in his stage of dehydration) Passport to Prana was welcomed with a smile. A good varieties of classes, great to practise here if you live or work in the area!

Hot Core is hot enough that my own personal water FLOW was continuous. Slip-sliding all over my mat as if it was an Ice Rink. Bring a towel, it helps. 90-minutes of this will definitely let you release something alright. Instructor starts and ends with the same Yoga Mind-meld slash Hypnotics. The class was definitely fully-loaded, hand-to-hand combat distance. I felt sorry for the one behind me but not as sorry as the one behind Mr. Gas E. Circle pose looks like its painful so I settled for plain Bridge pose. Ashtanga, Upward Dog, Flow, Jump, Downward Dog. Encore... Last 30 minutes was where the Abdominals had more intense action. The usual Bicycle, Vertical Leg, Side Hip Raises and so on. Otherwise it was more of Abs-stretching than Abs-burning. Although the Studio itself is of normal square-footage, the other areas less so. Shoe space entrance location is minimal esp when all put shoes on floor instead. Waiting area is alright, not the most zen-ish of the bunch but does the job. Men's dressing area has upper-cabinet for storage above the coat hangers/seats. Fits 4 big Men changing or 6 Men not-changing. Surprise. Men aplenty here, Ladies! Yogis coming in. Yogis going out. Yogis staying put. Yogis hot sweaty and tired. It felt like a Bumper-car arena from the change-room to the lobby to shoes and doors. HYW Woodbridge has enough Hardcore Fans within it's own neighbourhood. If anymore Yogis attend then you'll have super close-quarters Yogasms.

Of the regular yoga instructors, I liked Danielle as she challenged us to practice outside of our comfort zone. + SIGN UP: Signing up for classes is really easy, you just sign up online. You create an account & its super user friendly (on the website). The mobile site can use some work. CONS - MAT...rentals? I forgot my mat one time and had to pay 2$ to borrow one. While I understand the business side of things, I can't help but feel that's kind of tacky on their part. I already paid for the lesson... they also charge for towel rentals and water if you're doing hot yoga (you have been warned). Considering that yoga is purely a service dominated industry, I think that things can be done to make the experience more pleasant. *Note that the hot yoga studio is 3x bigger than the regular yoga room. I did not do hot yoga so this review cannot be used as a gauge for that particular aspect of the facility.

I feel stronger, more confident and overall better after my workout with her. She always makes me feel at ease and empowered after a session together! Love this studio and highly recommend it!!
