My parents are from SEMO and started eating here back in the 1950s. Although I grew up in St. Louis, we always ate lunch here when visiting family, downing our sandwiches at the counter that's been replaced by booths. After I had kids, we started bringing them in when visiting family. When my son moved to Texas for school, he jokingly requested that we stop at Wib's and bring him a sandwich when we visited. We pulled in when they opened, ordered 20 sandwiches, and packed them in a cooler for the drive down. We had one very surprised and happy student! Would we love Wib's as much if we had it every day? Maybe not, but we love eating here when we're in town. Two hot outsides for my partner, two extra hot combinations for me, and a fries to share. Mmmm. Enjoy it if you live there! We'll be back next time we're in town.

An absolute staple of Jackson, MO. Go in and get you a combination (or 3) and a Fitz and you will not be disappointed.

Sorry, I just don't get it. If you like dry meat and toast smashed down, then you will love it.

We have been going here for years. Its tradition to eat a bbq every time we come to town for a visit.

Wib's food is excellent and the prices are sensible. At Wib's, the food and service is worth the cost.

Avoid stopping here, bcuz their prices r to expensive. Their sandwiches r high. If u want the real barbeque go to a real barbeque joint

The BBQ is unique & wonderful. The fries are the best ever. The sweet tea is great, too. A long-time Jackson hot spot. Great service, too.

Great combinations, I've never had a better BBQ sandwich. Wibs is my favorite restaurant, but they're not open Sunday's and Monday's.

A local, hidden gem, in Jackson MO. This place was amazing. I got takeout. Fried fish dinner, came…read morewith a roll, and a side. I got mashed potatoes and white gravy. It was amazing!!!!!! The bread pudding was very moist and scrumptious. I will definitely be going back again, except this time to dine in!

Well, sugar, let me tell you about my little stop at Tractors Classic American Grill in Jackson,…read moreMissouri. I had high hopes for this place! I ordered the cranberry apple salad with grilled chicken, thinking I'd get just a little something light. It was supposed to be a half order, but honey, it sure didn't look like half--either they were being generous or someone missed the memo. The price, however, sure wasn't light--over sixteen dollars for a salad that didn't exactly sparkle. To be fair, the salad itself wasn't bad. The grilled chicken was seasoned nicely, and those little pops of cranberry added a nice sweetness. But the apple slices were tired, bless their heart--soft and browning like they'd been sittin' out at the church potluck a little too long. What really left a sour taste, though, wasn't the fruit--it was the service. When I politely asked the young man at the counter about the price, he snapped, "It's gone up," and just walked away. No "I'm sorry," no smile, not even a nod. That kind of rudeness don't sit well with me. So here's the bottom line: Tractors has potential, and that salad could've been a winner with fresh ingredients and a little Southern hospitality. But no matter how good the food is, if the service leaves you feeling unwelcome, it's hard to come back.

It was good and reheated well in our air fryer at home! My husband liked the Jägerschnitzel. Unfortunately that day it was not as usually made. They were out of something that usually goes in it. My husband still enjoyed it very much. (I forgot to take a picture and it was unrecognizable before I could do so). I had the Bavarian Smash w/fries. I would never have "made" a burger with sauerkraut- but it worked! Heated up nicely at home. It's a large burger! Also the fries, although just wrinkle fries, were well cooked and actually had salt! Yum!! We also had a free dessert but didn't really care for it much. Brownie something served in a plastic cup. It had pistachios in it. Maybe if served differently it would have been more appetizing - maybe. I ended up throwing it away after we arrived home. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food! I would think those who work out in the training office just off the entrance to the building would find it difficult with the delicious smells coming out of this little open place in what I would call the lobby. Would go back with friends and try something different next time.

I love a great smashburger--thin, crispy and well seasoned. This was not it, although the pickles, tomatoes and lettuce were satisfying. Tasted bland, "frozen" type structure and no crispness. Fries were all right. Banana pudding was amazing. I will try something else next time but those burgers need major work.
