I came to pick up the prescription for my daughter today only to find out that they will no longer fill this prescription because the insurance benefit puts the pharmacy at a loss rather than a financial gain. This particular pharmacy has come highly recommended by the provider and sends quite a bit of business their way. I was further told that this $16 loss is not sustainable to their business. When I advised the pharmacist that the provider sends a lot of business there. I was met with crickets. It was very discouraging to hear that my daughter could potentially bankrupt the pharmacy over $16. Clearly the pharmacy is not in business to take care of patients but more worried about their bottom line. I think there many happy 5 star reviews will keep them operating in the black.

That makes no sense to me because they have list so much in sales from under stocking. I don't know if it is that they aren't in the profit range or just not well managed. This used to be my favorite CVS because it is close to home, but I'll be going further afar from now on or maybe on to RiteAid. The problem is you get a lot of great discounts for using the CVS APP for purchases. I'm hoping whatever the problem is they can rectify it.

Today I paid extra for delivery (including a tip) because I'm extremely sick and didn't want to expose others. The prescription never arrived, and the app now incorrectly shows it was picked up. I'm left with no medication and no answers. Extremely poor service and communication. Very disappointed and frustrated.

Now, they know her name and all get hugs every time I take her in. This is just a wonderful place full of sweet, loving people. You can't get that at the chain pharmacies. The pharmacist at Lee's makes a diaper rash cream that takes care of just about everything. It handles the rash, kills bacteria, and protects the skin all at the same time. You will need a prescription for it, but it is totally awesome. Ask your pediatrician if your baby has a hard to cure rash. Most of the local Bakersfield pediatricians know about Diana Lee's diaper rash cream. Coming to Lee's is also a great way to support local Bakersfield businesses. They have reasonable prices and they also have delivery if you need. I believe there is no charge for delivery but ask them to be sure. I am a Lee's Pharmacy customer for life.

They have the best customer service. All through the years of going here, they saw our little family grow and they have treated us like their own family. They know my daughter so well, that they never failed to ask how she is or talk to her when she's with us. One thing that I like about this pharmacy is their awesome diaper rash cream when my little one was in diapers. This cream is a special mixture that is gentle for babies and at the same time a wonder rash cream. So if you have a baby with rash issues, try them, it definitely works!!! I refused one and visited to store to make sure it would not happen again. Last week, I arrived home to find a delivery from Express at my door. I physically took the prescription to them, asked again to be removed from their system once more (that would be 3 requests), and was then called by my current pharmacy today because they were unable to fill a prescription because Express had not reversed and cleared the delivery. I had been hearing about Hina's for years before my coma. After my coma, i have a lot of…read moremaintenance meds. Honestly just filling 1 medication a month at cvs was always a problem. So after my coma in 2016 i made the switch to Hina's and i don't regret it. 1. I was able to email my med list & have them request the transfers from cvs, i appreciated that they let me do this. Repeating information somehow gets me worked up (workin on that but that's besides my point). They were nice from day one, i appreciate that. 2. Hinas is the one pharmacy in my life that i feel like has gone to bat for ME (the patient) the most. My meds are always filled, if somethings unavailable, they communicate when it will be in, the techs contact my doctors and make notes to do things & follow up. They have done so much to go above & beyond to help me. I can't even put it into words. They do all they can to work with the insurance & my providers, to be sure I'm not out of my meds for a day. (A large chain, would never...) 3. If i ever have a question for the pharmacist i can just call and ask. Sure you can at any pharmacy pretty much buttt Ed knows who i am, he knows my history and doesn't need to verify my entire list of personal info (in front of a store full of customers) to tell me, to take something at night, instead of in the morning. Also he knows I'm persistent.. i stay on top of my prescriptions and faxes etc to my doctors so he works with me and anticipates my needs sometimes even before i know them! It's incredible. I'm saying. I have no regrets switching to Hina's. Also i mean they're a local small business. Who doesn't want to support that? And the delivery, two rounds? Sooo incredibly helpful!
