Lots and lots of chocolate and snacks (gummies, candies, biscuits, cookies, etc.), dried pasta, sauces, soup mixes, and so much more. Definitely a lot to look and and the variety is top notch with lots that are difficult to find elsewhere if you're not specifically at a European market. While checking out, I was eyeballing some of the chocolates that they had at the counter and the gentleman working was super nice enough to give my boyfriend and I some samples. Super friendly, welcoming, and giving the best grandpa vibes ever. I got some tea biscuits of various sizes and some really fun looking Garfield hazelnut wafer cookies and my boyfriend got himself some pasta and dried soups. Definitely will stop by again the next time I'm in the area.

Some go to staples that you'll find in Balkan households are vegeta - a universal seasoning for soups, meats and most dishes, chicken noodle soup packets with said vegeta seasoning (so flavorful, hands down better than any chicken soup you've tried), ajvar (mild to spicy roasted vegetable spread), smoked meats and frozen cevapi to name a few. You'll find tons of candies, cookies, sweats and treats. Keep in mind everything is imported so check dates and remember dates are going to be day first month second. Nelle gives friendly service, he is always so welcoming and happy to see you.

But there is one rare item I am addicted to, the fruiti-o mango nectar, which is tucked away at the corner of the refrigerated section in the store alongside a couple other unique flavors. The mango juice I was particularly looking for was well in stock when we stopped by this past Sunday. It is so yummy, and not too sweet. When we first arrived, the tantalizing aroma of fresh jalebi being fried outside the entrance caught my attention. I didn't even know what it was, but I saw the sign and watched the guy making it, and I wanted some. Like many markets they also cook a range of food here, though I didn't see it happening in the store so I'm not sure where. Unfortunately the scent of food can be smelt throughout the store while shopping, so it's like being in a restaurant where your clothes absorb the strong odors of ethnic dishes, and it will follow you home if you're in there too long... I think since the place was kinda crowded the weekend before xmas, it was a combination of the people and the food actually. But at least they had the juice we wanted, along with veggies we picked up as well. Service was sufficient, and we got outta there before it was too late.

Looking at items is a problem since someone is always trying to get by. Aisles can only be occupied by 1 cart or 1 person. Lots of variety. Over 50% of items have no price. Checkout times maybe long as many people buy a cartful. Parking lot is also an issue. In the morning, little parking exists. Tea India masala chai is the cheapest in town (80/5.99) Checkout is 3 registers close together. 3 seems to be common for Indian groceries . 3 stars for reasons stated.

I don't often come here, it's out of my way but when I do, I try to stock up on things I need. Such as banana ketchup, noodles and things I can't get at Ranch. (Living in South San Jose my options are limited) My mistake, I came here a day before New Year, never again. ‍ I had no time to look around because it was crowded. So I grab what I came for and stood in line. The workers there keep the line going. Props to them! I wanted to so badly to go to grill city to get some crispy chicken skins, again I didn't want to deal with the long lines. Store was clean and organized. Parking is usually full but a walk never hurt no one. :-) I'm definitely coming back for those crispy chicken skins.
