There are so many different flavors and a variety of savory and sweet snacks and candies. The pricing is a bit confusing. Instead of saying the weight, just say how much you want to spend on each item. So if the item is $35 per pound, just say you want to purchase $15 worth. The staff that work there are all very kind. You can ask to sample as many items as you would like. My family loves the beef jerky! It's definitely a must -try!

Also , it sells different types of dried fruits like apricot, plums . Some are sweet and some are salty . Some are for snacks only and some have medical benefits like sore throat and cough . We don't see this type of store in Bay Area . Last time I visited Honolulu I found a few stores inside Asian market place. The beef jerky are my favorites and I love some of the preserved fruits .They are sold by weight . There are so many big glass containers inside . Probably have over 100 types of snacks . This store is located in Milpitas. the same mall with a Ranch 99 . It is east to find parking on a Monday to Friday. But it is almost impossible to find a spot to park on the weekend afternoon . It would be wise to choose a time that would save the effort to wait for a parking spot.

You are advertising cooked food from Amutham Kitchen on WhatsApp and asking customers to place…read morepre-orders. I have several questions that require clear answers: Where is Amutham Kitchen located? I could not find any information about your business in the surrounding area. I also searched the California business registry and could not find a matching business. Provide your business address, registration details, and the legal name under which you operate. You advertise your food as halal. Explain exactly what that means in your operation. What ingredients do you source, what standards do you follow, and who certifies or verifies your halal claims? Provide specific details rather than directing people to search elsewhere. Explain your food safety and hygiene practices during preparation, cooking, storage, and delivery. State the measures you take to comply with applicable health regulations. Based on my previous order, the food was of poor quality and undercooked. I referred to 3 of my friends and they complained the same. State whether you hold all required licenses and permits to prepare and sell food in California. If you do, share copies of your food business permit, health permit, and any other applicable licenses. If you are operating a legitimate food business, this information should be readily available. If you are unable or unwilling to provide it, I will bring the matter to the attention of the appropriate California authorities for review.

The meat had a strong smell of cleaning chemicals. At first, I thought it might just be me since I'm sensitive to such smells, or maybe it came from the packaging. I went ahead and cooked it anyway, but once we started eating, it was clear the taste itself was affected, it actually tasted like cleaning product. It was so bad that we couldn't eat it at all and had to throw everything away. Since then I am so afraid to buy meat products from any store, thinking that what all stores must be ding and why I should eat chemical and affect my health.

I have been shopping at this market regularly for almost 3 years. Recently, I checked my receipt…read moreand noticed that I was charged twice for pork feet I went back 3 DAYS later to complain. They said they had to check the camera and could not do it at that time, so they asked me to go home and wait for a call ( pork feet were sold by the pound, it would be very unlikely for two separate purchases to have the exact same weight and price ) 5 DAYS later, they finally called and said they had checked the camera and would refund me when I came back. I did get my money back, but I think the way they handled such a simple mistake was very unprofessional and wasted a lot of my time I had a similar issue at 99 Ranch with a more expensive item, and they refunded me immediately If you shop here, check your receipt before leaving to avoid wasting time like I did

I really want to like Hashi Market, especially since it's supposed to be a Japanese market, but…read moreI've been disappointed by how slowly it has actually transitioned into one. Hashi still feels similar to the old Marina Market that occupied this location. For a store presenting itself as Japanese, there are so many basic Japanese grocery items I expect to find but often don't. The selection doesn't come close to a market like Mitsuwa. Even things like natto, certain Japanese sweets and snacks, and Japanese-style seafood items such as salmon roe are either missing or much more limited than I would expect. I expected the selection to become more distinctly Japanese after the change from Marina to Hashi, but the transition is taking an awfully long time! At this point, it often feels less like a Japanese supermarket and more like the previous Asian/Filipino market with some Japanese products added. Some of the prices are much higher too. At this point, I am losing hope. There are positives. I really like the produce section, especially the selection of leafy green vegetables and many of the fruits. The store has also been cleaned up considerably and is much better organized than it used to be, which I appreciate. But if Hashi wants to position itself as a Japanese market, I wish it would commit much more fully to actually stocking the range of Japanese groceries people go to a Japanese supermarket to find. Right now, if I specifically need Japanese ingredients or specialty foods, I'm still much more likely to make the trip to Mitsuwa or other Japanese markets.

The weight of the 20 packs have almost halved over this time. The rotis have a bad smell many times as if it is prepared with bad flour. 1/5 Stars | Extremely Disappointing and Unacceptable!…read more Very disappointed with India Metro Hypermarket in Milpitas. They are selling products that expired back in 2025, and we are already in October 2026! This is completely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about their inventory management and customer safety. The store clearly needs to review its inventory, remove expired products from the shelves, and restock with fresh items that have recent manufacturing dates. Customers trust grocery stores to sell safe and fresh products, not items that expired last year. Selling expired products is irresponsible, and customers should not have to check every single item to make sure it is safe to purchase. I strongly urge the management to take immediate action and improve its inventory checks. Customers deserve better quality, freshness, and accountability. Please check the manufacturing and expiration dates carefully before purchasing anything from this store!
