I filled the prescription ($600) and can't see at all through those glasses. I don't understand how my $10 off-the-shelf reading glasses work yet my $600 prescription glasses from VEI don't work AT ALL. My eyesight is so blurry with the VEI glasses, that I suspect patel made a mistake during the rushed exam... or wrote the RX incorrectly, or the glasses were built incorrectly. Nearly a year later, I decided to give VEI another chance. Again, I requested the same eye doc my wife had a good experience with. VEI didn't bother to call me back to make an appt. PROS: It's a nice facility It's conveniently located CONS: The eye doc I saw wasn't the eye doc I requested The eye doc I saw rushed me through the exam The $600 glasses I purchased as a result of the exam are unusable Lazy front desk staff When given a second chance, they blew it I made the mistake of trying VEI the first time without checking Yelp first. Had I checked Yelp, I would have seen all the 1-star and 2-star reviews and would gone elsewhere (and would have saved $600). Lesson learned: check Yelp first! In 2021, I told my eye doctor I wanted lasik because wearing glasses and contacts just ain't it and I am tired. Lol. They recommended a place to me that they work with. I called them a couple of times, no call back. I did my own research and found some good reviews at Lasik eye institute. I got an appointment right away, went in for the consultation. Everyone was great, everything went fine. They explained everything in details to me. I was excited to do it but it took me a while to come up with a date because I was so nervous. I finally decided to do it last month and although I was still nervous, I knew it is the best decision. The staff, doctors, and surgeon makes everything easy and I wasn't as nervous. You meet with the surgeon before the surgery. He explains everything. The procedure was about 10-15 minutes long. I only felt pressure in my eyes. The surgeon talked to me throughout letting me know what was going on and assuring me that I was doing great. That was very comforting. Like I mentioned, so far my experience has been good but my only issue is that, it does take a while to get someone at the center to speak to. When you call you get the customer service people and they tell you they will put a note in so someone from this location can give you a call. It has been 3 times that I have waited 3 to 4 days before getting a call back. I went to see my eye doctor and I had some questions regarding my surgery and asked for someone to call me back but still haven't gotten a call back. This makes be nervous because you only get a postop visit the day after surgery and they tell you to call if there any issue. Overall, great experience. I should have done this sooner. I have recommended this place to a lot of people already. I am only giving them 4 stars because of the calling thing. But everything else was great.

Dr. Billmayer was *very* knowledgeable and did things to help me transition from single vision to progressive lenses that others hadn't in the past. I now am in a multi-focal contact that is amazing. On top of that, Andrew the optician called around to get me replacement lenses for my old glasses frames in a couple of *days* instead of weeks. And he did so by tracing my frames instead of taking them. Brenda was also very helpful in getting me started and making me feel welcome. You can try to purchase $40 glasses online, but beware of what you might get. And the staff at Envision will more than earn your business.

Well it has been 2 weeks since I had LASIK done and it has been a life changing experience so far…read more The staff has been wonderful, and the procedure went super fast. Dr. Mullen was my doctor and I he seemed very through to make sure I was a good candidate and that the procedure was going to work well for me. they used more fancy eye equipment and doohickeys then I've ever seen for measurement. I know they are using some new laser tech (sorry don't know the name) but it was able to correct some of my astigmatism so thing have been really clear too. (there is some haloing at night but they say it will clear up in a few months. really look forward to swimming later in the summer, but I've enjoy riding my motorcycle and using regular sunglasses. The price was very affordable (to me anyway) for the new procedure. Was glad I was refereed to him and his staff.
