As for the guy that wanted to be fit into irons and was told to take lessons, the fitter actually did him a huge favor! You can't really fit someone into irons until they have mastered the fundamentals of the swing. Can't help but think if the guy took the fitter's advice and took some lessons, he would be a lot better golfer?
