Recently purchased a brand new ping g430 driver. Quickly realized that the shaft was way too heavy and stiff. I brought the club in, purchased a new shaft for over $200. They let me know that it would take several days for it to be ready for pick up. I took off work at lunch time 4 days later, drove the 40 minutes to the store and picked up my new shaft. Took it home, the adapter didn't fit. I called the store, they explained that if I bring it back, they'd replace it with the right adapter. So, this would require 4 total visits to the store to get what I already paid for. They simply explained that there's nothing else they can do. I asked if they could have a shaft with the CORRECT adapter ready so I can avoid driving across town a fourth time and the manager said they'd check the inventory. When the person in the golf department got back on the phone he said I simply would have to come out 2 more times. No acknowledgement of their screw up, no willingness to help in any way. I since took the shaft to a pro shop near my house, they fixed the situation with 1 visit. They trusted me as an adult to wait 24+ hours for the epoxy to dry and sent me home with the right thing. NEVER AGAIN will I give another penny to golf galaxy. read more
