Date of visit: November 17, 2023…read more I visited looking for running shoes, after spending several minutes in the section I was asked if I needed help and I declined, but maybe I should have said, "yes," the shoes were kind of all over the place, not arranged by size and often not near the corresponding display shoes. Making matters worse is that the shoes are double-stacked, meaning I had to pull out the first set of boxes to see if the boxes hiding behind them were 1) the shoes I wanted, and 2) the right size. This took quite a bit more time than I had anticipated spending on this activity! Once I finally found a pair that was in my size and I liked, I went up front to pay and while there were several employees hanging around the door, only one of them was at a register, so I had to wait for her to finish with the customer in front of me. Then after my transaction was complete, she told the crew that she was taking her break and someone would need to be available in her absence.

Not here - there was just as much apparel for women as there was for men. Everything is laid out & displayed nicely. If you care what you look like when you're at the gym (I do not!), you'll be in heaven here. +Good selection of bike & tennis supplies for the Mister +Really helpful staff - we were probably checked on 10 times by different people. Now, I know they just opened & some of that will likely wear off but first impressions count. +Huge selection - they seem to have something for just about every sport out there Minuses: -Prices are about the same as you'll find elsewhere -In some cases, items are segregated by brand (North Face) vs. men/women so it can be a little confusing to find what you want Overall, I really liked this store - and I'd like credit for refraining from all of the dick & ball jokes I was sorely tempted to use in this review.

I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated with the service here. They called me on Sunday at 5:58…read morePM to tell me my bike was ready--exactly two minutes before they closed. Because of the timing, I couldn't even pick it up until Tuesday. The pricing feels highly suspect. For a bike that costs $350 brand new, I was charged over $200 for a new rear tire, chain, and miscellaneous items. To make it worse, I paid an extra $30 for a "lifetime membership" because they promised it would give me reduced rates. Instead, my bill somehow jumped from a quoted $160 to $202. The math makes absolutely no sense. But the worst part is the complete lack of basic safety quality control. When I finally got the bike home, I realized the front brakes were completely unattached and just hanging there. This is a massive safety hazard. They kept my bike for days, charged me hundreds of dollars, and ultimately handed me back a bike that wasn't even safe to ride. Now I have to waste my own time and gas to go back and get them to finish the job. Take your bike somewhere else where they actually care about mechanical safety and honest pricing.

After scheduling a day for their mobile boat winterizing/shrink wrapping service to come to my house, they never showed up. Even after I called the day of and confirmed that they would be coming, they didn't even bother calling to let me know they weren't. I had to call a few more times to even get them to answer. Once I finally got a hold of them, they said they would get back to me with a re-scheduled date. No one ever got back to me and no more phone calls were ever answered. I understand if companies are busy, but to blatantly ignore phone calls and not show up to scheduled meetings is completely uncalled for. Not only did I waste my time, but now I have to wait for a real professional mobile boat service to come. If I could rate less than 1 star, I would. Thanks for nothing. Communication can be lacking. Updates on items / processes are hard to come by. Pros - Had a Streamlight go bad within a few months of purchasing it. Did not buy it at Streichers, but Streamlight website said to send to an authorized repair center, which is Streichers in Butler, WI. It was the closest to me, I thought that is the best to do. Sent the flashlight VIA UPS. No confirmation they received it or what they were going to do. However, I got a voicemail a few weeks later that the flashlight was ready for pick up at their store. I called and left a message saying it's hard for me to get to the store by 6pm, and to let me know about shipping as I had no problem paying for shipping cost. No call back, however - did receive a brand new flashlight in a nicely packed box the next week. NO charge for shipping. I was very pleased at the end result, for both Streicher's and Steamlight (great warranty). Just wished they would communicate a bit better. Overall a solid 4 stars and definitely pleased at the result.
