I was bored with a friend one night, and we had decided to come here for something different. It's very similar to TopGolf but with its own twist on games for you to enjoy. They were running a promotion for half-off bays, so we took advantage of it with two hours of playing. I loved how interactive and inclusive the games were. I don't have a great swing, but my friend does. It was great that we could adjust our drive distances in the games so that it was a fair match for us. Of course, we had to try some of the food options. The chicken tenders and ranch were a hit! But the star of the show? The cheese pizza. Oh. My. GOD. I was raving about the pizza for days. It was so huge and cheesey. I genuinely think its some of the best pizza I've ever had, and I'm not a fan of Detroit style pizza at all. I've only taken advantage of the unlimited golf for $15 on weekdays between 11 am - 1 pm, but I've had enough fun doing that that I can't wait to come back for some other events they have! They have a simple selection of clubs for both men and women, and left handed clubs are available if needed. There are different games to play and even if you're not a great golfer no one cares because it's definitely more of a social experience than an athletic one. They recently revamped their menu and the chicken street tacos are worth ordering. Lots of N/A options as well besides just soda. We came over to Luxe from Mosh when we had time to kill between basketball games. The team of sixth graders were able to play golf at the bay for an hour and eat some lunch. They all had a good time. Fun family night at Luxe! Our Bay was ready right away and our waitress checked-in with us often. We stayed for 2 hours and enjoyed a variety of food and drinks. Even though it was raining we were dry and comfortable. Space is very clean and well taken care of. Parking is free and convenient in the west parking lot. Prices can add up but easy to split with a big group. We only practiced our swing and hit the balls, but there are lots of fun games to play if you are interested. Checked this out for the first time yesterday. Note to everyone going here during cold weather, while you are covered, you are still outside. When it is very cold and there is wind, the space heaters can only do so much. I was glad I dressed in layers but wish I would have had a hat. The bays are nice with your own seating area and server. They have an extensive menu for food and beverage but we just opted for hot chocolate and coffee. They do have clubs as well as an area for you to bring set yours should you bring your own. You can choose to okey games or you can golf a course. The balls are limited flight balls. The prices per hour vary from time of day. There is also annual membership fee of $5 per person that gets tacked on. Not really sure what that is about. Would definitely come here again but in warmer weather. read more

Being New Years Day, we called to confirm our reservation, and we could not get anyone to answer the phone for 30 minutes. It looked like when we got there that there was only 1 person working the desk (should probably be 2). The bays were not 30 degrees above outside temps as we were told by the person that we "finally" reached someone at the desk. It did not seem like the heaters were on full (the ones above the tee box and table were never red). They were all black (see pictures). It was FREEZING. It was about 13 degrees (feels like 3 degrees) - should have felt like 30-45 degrees (according to the people on the phone at Luxe). We had to keep taking turns to go inside when we were not hitting. Food (tacos) were subpar. A tiny "pico de gallo "was served (1 T for 3 tacos) - nothing else on the tacos (no lettuce, no cheese, no tomatoes, no salsa). Just a scoop of meat and the plastic 1 T of Pico De Gallo. The taco shells got mushy right away (they should have been doubled up). We ate them immediately to try to get warm. We were on the 2nd floor, and we went up to the 3rd floor to check it out. It was definitely much WARMER on the 3rd floor. Maybe the heaters were on, on the 3rd floor. It certainly was more crowded up there! Servers were prompt and nice and the person at the check-in desk was very friendly and informative. Tee box mats are too short; they need to be longer (from the ball dispenser to your heels). We found ourselves with our heels on the back of the mats when trying to use our drivers. Plus, the left-handed rubber tee was in the way of where we needed to stand while addressing our ball on the right-handed tee. There were no adjustments for the height of the rubber tee. The balls kept coming out non-stop until we finally learned to place a spare ball in front of the electronic sensor. Also, the monitors for our tee box area required us to turn around each time to view our results. This was our first visit, my suggestion to other visitors would be, don't get a tee box with the monitor behind you. Suggestions for Luxe 1) Longer tee boxes 2) Removable rubber tees 3) "heated" bays on full (especially when temps are below 30 degrees!) 4) Clear rubber strips partially hung between the tee box and tables (to keep the heat in). I'm NOT a golfer. I didn't even attempt to golf (shoulder issues or I would have tried). But had a great time hanging out with a group from work. Things have changed a lot since I was last in a driving range and the games you can play make it a lot more fun with a group. The food and drinks and service were great!! The only improvement a couple of us noted was that on the screens that are in each bay was the news which was fairly depressing and a bit of a vibe killer. Luxe Golf Bays: Relatively new to the Milwaukee area, Luxe opened in August of 2022. The driving range is 250 yards long, three stories tall, and boasts an impressive 57 bays. Did I mention there is also two restaurants and a beer garden? For those of you familiar with "Top Golf" locations, Luxe is a similar concept as it differs slightly from a standard driving range by offering more of an "experience" or social event. It's not simply who can hit the ball the furthest as a number of games can be played involving the different target zones. Bays are priced at an hourly rate (which varies on the time of day and day of the week), so it's best to go as a group as like most things golf, it can get expensive relatively quickly. There is also an additional $5 for "new members". Although it can be a pricey experience, I am glad that there is finally something like this in the Milwaukee area. Luxe Nachos: Being the foodie that I am, I had to try at least one item while we golfed (even if I wasn't hungry enough to get a full entree). My brother actually ordered these nachos and was nice enough to share. The Luxe nachos are comprised of homemade chips, queso, roasted corn, green onions, avocados, jalapenos, steak, sweet red peppers, and sour cream. Our bay was on the first floor. On a Friday night in March, it was very cold. They have heaters above head, but even wearing a Northface parka, I was too cold to stay longer than an hour. The sensors were also not working properly. We had to make repeat swings for them to register on the game we were playing. We weren't too serious about the game so it was fine, but it was still really annoying. Also, it delayed the game a lot so we were wasting time. Since our visit, and from what our server was telling us, floors 2 and 3 have better sensors and heaters. I won't know for sure until I go back to try them out. But if this is true, we should have been given a discount. And a heads up. Hopefully this serves as a heads up. The food was actually really good. Wings, quesadillas, and pretzel... all very yummy and very sharable. Their tap water was bad though... I'm more on the sensitive side with tap water smells though, so just noting this down for personal reference. Stick with the beer. We recently visited Luxe Golf Bays for the first time as a group of four, and "golfed" from bay 206, which is on the second level. We "golfed" for the maximum of two hours on a Saturday with only one of us having golfed before. We had a really great time! Each bay has a screen to play various interactive games on the screen or to golf on a course which adds an enjoyable element to the driving range experience. We did have some sensor issues with our ball not being recognized when it was hit, as well as some very wrong measurements for the distance which took away from some of the games. It would be nice if it was a little bit more accurate. That being said, we still enjoyed our playing time. Luxe Golf Bays provides men's and women's golf clubs, although you can bring your own. There is also seating and a table, as they also serve food and drinks. Each bay also has personally controlled heaters and fans as you are hitting outside. We lucked out with beautiful weather on our visit. The pricing at Luxe Golf Bays is quite affordable and is billed per hour. There is also a one-time $5 membership fee per person. You can reserve your bay on their website which is also super convenient. Overall, we really enjoyed Luxe Golf Bays and highly recommend it. We look forward to returning and playing again! read more

This place is a lot of fun and super comparable to Top Golf. The food and drink prices aren't too bad for what you get, and the food is not bad. We tried most of the appetizers on the menu and I only wish the nachos had a little more cheese, so that all the chips could have some. Also, the nachos ingredients needed to be spread out more, so that chips don't get soggy too quickly. The place had event spaces that look nice, and would be great for rehearsal dinners or a birthday party. We had a 2-hour time slot for our group, and went through all of the games available. It would be nice for more options than just 3 games and to play golf courses. The games did seem to have some inconsistencies and glitches as you tracked your ball, it wasnt always lining up on the monitor. Also, it seemed like sometimes the game would count the hall where it first hit the ground, and the next time it would count it where it rolled to. Overall I had a good time and would go again. Although the bays are somewhat outdoors, there were overhead heaters all above the bay and we weren't cold at all. Being first timers, we were really excited and impressed by the facility. We got there for our 10am reservation and got a text when it was time to head on up to our bay. We had a server, which was nice. We ordered food and beer... but if I had one word of caution, look at the menu before blindly ordering stuff. I was a little caught off guard on the price of the pitcher of beers. The food was very tasty and came out pretty quickly. Overall we spent 2 hours there and enjoyed ourselves. Were there some downsides? Sure... for one the sensors and field didn't seem to align, so with some of our games where the ball hit the target near the edge, or missed the target near the edges it would register differently. Not a biggie since it's not like we are playing big money games, just an annoyance. The outdoor heaters is also a concern, as I am not sure what it would be like on colder days. There is a heater above the mat and above the seating area but it's still open so if its even slightly windy it may get pretty chilly.... but hey, at least our beer will stay cold. I can see coming here for an event or outing, but not some place I would go on a regular basis. read more

My girls and I visited luxe golf bays on Saturday and it was a great time ! We walked in with no experience and that is truly what made this visit so fun . The staff was amazing and explained everything for us ... the left handers got their own bag and clubs delivered to the bay right away after being requested. We shared the luxe drink which is their version of a fish bowl and the four of us couldn't finish but it was sooo good ! My only complaint would be the food , I had the tacos but I had to add some salt and lime for flavor . My friend got the chicken sandwich and tater tots and there wasn't any flavor to either . Next time we go we will try other food options. We made reservations a couple days in Advance and our bay was ready when we arrived. This place was really fun, but for a date night it's a little pricey. My husband and I swung the clubs for an hour. We got one app which was a tiny portion and he got one beer. We ended up spending almost $100. If they had a better deal on their food and drinks, it would be more appealing. Also make sure to go with 4-6 people to make it a better bang for your buck. Otherwise for just two people it's pretty expensive. I feel they are robbing people by asking $7 for a Busch Light...and a huge bummer there's no Miller products. read more

I'll start off with the good. Service we had was great. Very nice waitress and staff that helped us. The place is very clean, big and awesome atmosphere. Now with the not so good... So to start my girlfriend and I went here on a Sunday night at 8. Place looked absolutely dead. Which is never good. But once we got to our bay, the price of golf was $55 an hour. We order Buffalo chicken dip that turned out to be worse then any store bought brand. The drinks were pretty expense and not good either. Ordered the squirt and vodka and she got a Moscow mule that turned out to be pretty much all ginger beer. The golf experience itself only had like 2 decent games. The ball traveling wasn't very realistic and the balls at times didn't even register. They need to add a lot more games to have it more fun. Overall for golf, 2 drinks and an app. It came out to be $120 bucks with tip. Which is absolutely crazy for an hour of golf. I'd rather travel an hour to go to top golf or a different range then come here again. Unless they up their games, food, and take it easy on their prices.. read more

The whole bottom and half the top is empty yet they are completely reserved.. short staff so can't open up all the bays, said they didn't have openings but online I could reserve a bay 30 mins later yet the staff just doesn't know what they have going on... absolutely horrible experience and won't be going back! I want to give them the benefit of the doubt since they just opened and are still working out some kinks. But as other posters have mentioned, they need to figure out their reservations and staffing a bit better. This is a new establishment so the staff should not assume that customers know the process or which table to check in at or how to use the bays. We arrived and checked in for our reservation and we're told that it would be a few minutes and we could wait at the bar. We were fine with that so we went over the bar and grabbed a drink, 10 minutes later we received a text saying out bay was ready. We went immediately to go check in and they had given our bay, and the other open bay, away to another group by accident. How does this happen? So we waited another 10 minutes for a bay to open up and they stuck us in the corner bay against the wall ugh. We played out our time but no one explained the system or how the games worked or anything to us. We figured it out on our own and kept playing. Our server was nice, and was attentive. We enjoyed our experience golfing, though a lot of the balls hit didn't register. They have a long way to go to compete with the likes of top golf, and service/reservations is probably a good place to start. We'll definitely be back to give them another chance as we did love the driving range experience and it's a fun activity. Hopefully these are just opening kinks that they can workout soon, as it seems we were not the only ones to have issues with the reservation process. For an experience that is certainly not cheap, we would expect better service in that sense. read more

Facility was in decent shape. The golf bay worked as expected. Family of 5 had a good time. Only thing that I was not happy about was receiving the bill and having the gratuity was pre-populated that included the fee for the bay. Bill Breakdown: $78- Golf bay fee for 90 min $72- food and bev $30- Tip Our server was nice, but I don't think she deserved essentially 40% tip on food and bev sales. I know I could have clicked the option to figure my own tip, but I was under impression that our bill didn't include the fee for the bay. Didn't help that she handed me a small handheld screen to sign that didn't give the breakdown of the bill. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly... First the good. The food and the service. Our group of 8 had the nachos, the pretzel bites, the cowboy burger and a BLT wrap. All of the food was good, no complaints from anyone. Our server was super attentive and and kept the food and drinks coming all evening. The bad. No Miller products available AT ALL. This is Wisconsin, c'mon. Also the mats to hit off of are not wide enough. I am 5'9". When I was using a driver I only had the front half of my feet on the mat. Very difficult to hit in that fashion. The ugly. The technology is horrible. I cannot stress this enough, HORRIBLE. All of us in the party are golfers. Not great golfers but we golf quite often. We have a couple of big hitters in our group that routinely hit 250+ off the tee. The longest drive of the night came in at 201. Far, far too many shots that were never tracked at all. One member of our party hit 4 shots in a row that never registered until she got so tired of it she just quit playing. When we came in the plan was to play 3 hours but we quit after 2 because of the bad tech. Did we have fun, sure. We were swinging clubs in February but unless they start all over with the technology we won't go back. I'll make the drive to Top Golf or an indoor simulator if the golf part of it is at all important. read more
