That said, hats off to the staff at Luxe for treating me no differently than anyone else there that night. The evening started with a lovely buffet that included a nacho bar, both barbecue and dry-rub chicken wings, fruit and vegetable trays, and pizza. I highly recommend the pickle pizza, a delight I learned to love in the Twin Cities!! The chicken on the nacho bar was moist and very tasty. I also enjoyed the barbecue wings; they were meaty and the sauce was generous. When food started to run low, staff were quick to respond and the kitchen seemed up to the task as the buffet was replenished as quickly as it seemed possible. I was very impressed. I don't drink very often, and this night was no exception to my general rule, but I did sip my friend's tropical cocktail, and found it worth every penny because it was strongly alcoholic and very refreshing. Everyone in the large group I was there with seemed to enjoy the golf aspect of the evening. This was my first experience with a place like this, and it was fascinating to to watch. The food was very good and the drinks were well made. The general manager spoke with us and wanted to ensure we had a good experience. The view when golfing was beautiful and they hand comfortable seating. I would definitely return and this place is the perfect spot for date night or time with friends.

We played yesterday and left quite disappointed. The course is in very rough shape and in dire need of some TLC. I understand the fact that some of the holes couldn't be mowed due to the recent rains but it doesn't appear that any of the course has seen the lawn mower or a weed wacker recently. Our group lost a bunch of balls that were hit near or on the fairway. Hopefully changes are coming as we sure did like coming here over the years.

The Forked Aster Trails wind through some beautiful cover foliage and mixed prairie along the bluffs of Lake Michigan. How could I not have known about this sooner? The sheer solitude and beauty of these trails has me like- This Review will self destruct in 3, 2, 1... Park at the golf course parking lot for a nice short hike, or enter a connector trail at Lake Drive and Ramsey, where yes, there's a new elliptical machine just waiting to be used! For what this is, this place is pretty awesome…read more What this place is is: A large sports complex that has the capacity to house adult recreational soccer, kids' volleyball, roller derby, high school baseball, etc., etc. It's owned and operated by the Milwaukee County Parks System. Essentially, it's a giant field house that can accommodate any and all types of sporting matches you can think of (save for swimming, ice skating, etc.) You get the idea. A giant giant indoor space can be divided into four different spaces, and rental rates are relatively inexpensive. For larger spectator events, the Sports Complex staff will do parking, security, concessions, etc. There are large-ish locker rooms and ample bathrooms for a place of this size. They have bleachers. The have outdoor fields as well for soccer, baseball, and whatever else you could want to play outside. We played our first four Bruiser home seasons here, and despite the fact that it's not exactly centrally located (it's all the way out in Franklin), it suited our growing needs just fine. (Now, however, we've moved to the US Cellular Arena, as we could no longer fit our fan base into the Sports Complex.) It's a nice addition to our parks system, and a great place for kids/amateur/recreational sporting matches. It was great for our BCB home season too, but change is good, too.

A simple - "I'm sorry, we are closed for a league tonight - you can play at X times" was all she needed to say. Instead she was super harsh about them being closed in front of everyone at the bar. When I walked in like a kid in a candy store I was taken back to the days of my youth. I wanted to get down there and rock it out. Built in one of the old Milwaukee Gas Light Buildings 4 Seasons is constantly upgrading and switching things up in this premium facility that I will coin a little slice of skate heaven. A small upper room with a set of ramps and a massive lower area with all kinds of ramps and even a bowl in the back this place is a skate mecca that seems to still stand the test of time. Any kid whose into any of the sports that would use such methodical setups for fun would be psyched to tear this place up! Another hat's off to Doors Open Milwaukee for allowing the general public to experience 4 Seasons in al, its glory. Long live the thrashers and those that still are pushing the limits of the sport of skateboarding. 4 Seasons is a diamond in the rough and something I am in awe of! Cool facility, yes indeed!

My college soccer team came here for team bonding. They have plenty of hole but not too many to…read moremake you feel like you have been there too long. They have some pretty fun ones to keep you engaged which is nice especially if you're not into mini golf. They have license plates from different states as their decor. Its even fun trying to find specific states. I loved the lightspeed mementos used as decor too. My brother frequently visits this place because his group of teenage friends enjoys it so much. Worth the money every time.
