Love this par 3 course right here in Milwaukee. I am still very new to golf, so this is my favorite place to play! It's right on the lake, very well groomed, and some might say an easy course! Haha. It's still a challenge for me! There's one water trap, so use an old ball, but other than that, the holes are pretty straight on without obstacles. It is surrounded by woods, which makes it beautiful, but also hard to find a ball sometimes. read more

Great for beginners or people who are trying to improve par threes and irons the course had amazing views of the Lake and when I came out at 6:00 A.M tee time sunrise was beautiful. Would go back any day and only main improvement is maybe add one more water hazard on back nine and maybe some bunkers. Otherwise great for practicing irons and wedges hope to be back soon. read more

Fun place to play low pressure par 3 golf. We enjoyed filling up the cart with a few beers, hitting a few good wedge shots and laughing-- the place is set right on the lake but only one or two holes have good views. Super nice staff. Really relaxed. Fun time. read more

Warnimont is a great par 3 course. As a beginner in golf, this course does not overwhelm me and it still engages my boyfriend who has been golfing for years. This course is very walkable. We generally only get a cart on super humid days or days we are worried about pending rain. The golf shop has a nice variety of apparel as well as beverages to take on the course. read more

Warnimont Golf Course is one of my favorite locations to golf. Although I enjoy the game, I'm not the best at it. It's an ideal course for beginners and for those like me that don't have a long game even worth practicing. This course is right off of Lake Michigan, so a couple holes have great views, but it can get chilly. I've found the course to be well kept and to be a good value for the price you pay. It might not be the biggest draw for most golfers, but plenty of wildlife can also be spotted depending on when you go. read more

Nice 18 hole executive par 3 course on the Lake. Friendly staff & course is in excellent condition- quite the value. Fair greens, nice fairways & no sand traps. I actually saw a brown deer on this course today. Buy a Milwaukee County Golf discount card to save on your greens fees at all 13 courses. read more

The golf course itself is good but the staff are horrible and rude. Rude staff ruin the game.

If you're a novice golfer, like me, you look for low-stress, low-challenge courses. Warnimont Golf Course applies in both cases. Except for a beautiful, albeit daunting, pond on the front 9, you can golf relatively worry free if you're new to the game or you just like to have fun with friends and family without the worry of ticking off the semi pros that frequent some of the bigger Milwaukee County courses. I tackled nine holes yesterday accompanied by my husband and my brother-in-law, both better golfers than me. They could shoot for par--my husband even birdied one hole--and I can chop along and keep up without totally embarrassing myself and holding up the golfers behind me. Situated lakeside, it really is beautiful. Of course, the lake does provide some cool breezes, and on a cloudy, low 50s day, I was happy in my fleece and knit hat. We arrived on a Friday at 1 p.m., a busy time as lots of other golfers seemed to be taking a half day and heading for the course, too. We didn't have a reservation, but we only ended up waiting 15 minutes, which is usually the case at Warni (as we like to call it). Since we were golfing later in the day next week, I did make an online reservation at the county website. It's free and very easy to navigate. This year, my husband and I purchased discount cards as we are determined to golf once or twice a week. You get a discounted greens fee each time you golf, and you can accrue points towards free golf, free carts, and various golfing swag available in the clubhouse. My first time out this season, I ran into three people I knew--two on the way into the parking lot--and one on the way to the clubhouse. I love bumping into other locals who are taking advantage of our beautiful Milwaukee County Parks. Grab your clubs and enjoy it, too. read more

A nice play to go for a walk in the woods..... looking for my golf ball that is. I work in Cudahy, so I may have taken a few long Friday lunches over the years to play 9 holes at Warnimont. I am not a good golfer. I do not pretend to be, nor do I have any illusions that I will ever know what I am doing. I used to think that a "scratch golfer" was someone with bad jock itch. Warnimont is my kind of course: Straight fairways, easy distances, no sand traps, and only one water hazard. Best of all, its never crowded during the week. My coworker and I can do 9 holes in less than an hour. Although this is a par 54 (for 18 holes) course, it is 2700 yards. All holes are over 100 yards, and many are over 180. This allows you use some small irons or even break out a driver. It's a great course for the "more mature" golfers. Golf carts can be rented for $5 per golfer for 9 holes. The course is a good deal. $15 for 18 holes, $11 for 9 without a Discount card. With a MKE Discount card, the fees are $12/$9. Best of all, beer can be purchased at the club house! If you are a Westsider like I am, this course is very similar to Hansen. Nothing special, but a very leisure course to either work on your short game, or just go for a walk in the woods.. If you find a Titlest ball back there, it's probably mine. read more

Warnimont Golf Course is a beautiful par-3, 18-hole, executive county course. I am rating the course for what it is, not how it compares to regulation courses or beyond. Milwaukee County has 2 executive courses, the other being Hansen. I prefer Warnimont for it's Lake Michigan view setting It is also slightly longer than Hansen, by 500 yards. I would say that the course is special for the casual golfer or those that want to work on their short game. read more

I'm not a great golfer but this is by far my favorite course in the area. The scenery is amazing. There is just enough hazards for a novice golfer like myself to keep it interesting. Very enjoyable. Especially love the distance of the back 9 holes. read more
