I called them 5 times and left 2 emails. I spoke to the commercial manager, for a couple of minutes. He told me he was going to check his inventory and call me back. He never did. After that I called 3 times, left an email, never heard back. The receptionist apologised and told me it's nothing personal. She gave me someone else and they never called back either. What a dealership! I recommend finding another Ford dealer that has salesman that care about customers. read more

*Do NOT recommend Valet "Service at Whitmoyer Ford Service I find service departments at dealerships to be generally untrustworthy. Whitmoyer Ford Service department did not disappoint. I made a 10a appt for a recall on my Ford Escape that was to take aprox an hour. They offered a free "valet service" where they would pick up and drop off my car. wonderful, I said. The service would pick up my car 30 before and deliver my car when finished. I get a call at 11:45 to tell me my car was done. my phone kicks all unknown callers to voicemail. No voicemail was left. I called back 30 min later from Ian who wanted to make sure I knew my tires needed attention. I confirmed that they have an appointment elsewhere for that soon. I also confirmed that my car was on the way and he said it hadn't left the property yet and that he will get it to me as soon as a driver comes available. 45 minutes later I call back ( I live less than 15 min away). I was given to Makela who got angry with me for being upset that my car was not delivered as soon as possible after the work was complete, she didn't know why nor was interested in finding out why, and the drivers went to lunch at noon. Did I have my angry voice on? yes. But I was not yelling, yet. As she she kept talking over me, I finally got HER to confirm that she will have my car delivered ASAP. 30 minutes later I got my car. It took 3.5 hours to use the valet "service". Had I just taken it in and waited for it, it would have take 1.25 hours. I will NOT be using or recommending Whitmoyer service or their Valet "service to anyone in the future. I hope the next person has a better customer service experience. read more

I took my truck for an oil change, tire rotation and to get the tires balance. it took them almost an hour and they when I got home I noticed they had not rotated the tires! I called back and they admitted to not doing it and asked for us to come back next week to fix it. #1 I feel like they tried to play me because I'm a woman. I drive that truck every day, I know my truck. #2 I paid for that service and they didn't do even if they offered to fix the problem that means that I have to drive an hour both ways and wait for them to complete a service that was already supposed to be done. I recently purchased a used Jeep Wrangler from the Whitmoyer Auto Group. I paid what I considered a fair price, and received a fair price for my trade-in. Nick N., the sales pro really sold the Wrangler by taking me on a custom test drive set to my specifications. Nick is extremely knowledgeable, no-pressure, and a very nice guy. Here's where the journey zigged left, zagged right, and then cruised straight home: After driving home, my copilot noticed a stone chip on the windshield. I figured it happened on the drive, as we heard a pebble or something hit the glass. I took the car to Safelite for repair, and they said a repair had already been attempted (apparently by the prior owner), and they couldn't re-repair it. Nick brought the issue to the Sales Manager's (Matt) attention. After seeing pictures, he had me bring the car in to have Whitmoyer's glass contractors (Big Crack Autoglass) take a look. They confirmed Safelite's diagnosis, and Matt had them replace the windshield. It's extremely refreshing to have a business do the right thing with no fuss. THAT's customer service, and why I recommend the Whitmoyer Auto Group. The Wrangler's a blast to drive, too! read more

I tried to purchase a vehicle from Whitmoyer Auto Group in Mt. Joy, PA. I am out of state in CT. I contacted them and while the salesperson was helpful at first, we couldn't agree on price. We continued to speak periodically about the vehicle but I had a firm number in mind and they refused to budge on price. Fast forward three weeks and I get a text from the salesperson saying they will do the deal at the price I offered them if I picked it up by Saturday. It was 6PM on the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend and I live over four hours away. I was also going to be away for the holiday weekend. I tried repeatedly to work something out and communicate with the salesperson Dan but he stopped answering me completely. I asked over 1/2 a dozen times if they would honor the price if I picked it up Tuesday when I returned. No response. I called both the sales manager and the GM and neither had the decency to return my call. I've been in the car business for over 35 years and never have I seen such antics. TERRIBLE customer service. I seen a car on their website that I was really interested in. Send info and was pre approved for the loan for it. Made an appointment to go to see it, look it over & test drive. I was prepared to put a deposit on it and buy it. When I was rudely informed by another salesman Brandon that his people where interested in buying it. Just the way he talked to me and acted was unacceptable. Then the fact that I had an appointment for this specific and they sell it to the other people who came in to look at a different car and decided they wanted this instead. They had not signed anything, didn't have financing for it yet and no deposit on it. They just got there 30 minutes before I did. While my sales person Erik was very helpful and nice, I will never do business with this dealer for this reason. I drove out of my way to go look at this car for them to basically sell it from underneath me. The manager that was there was no help either and basically sided with the other salesman. Complete and absolutely disappointed with this dealership that this is how they treat people. I don't care what the other reviews say about this dealer, be careful going here if they did it to me what is stopping them from doing it to you. We had a great car buying experience at Whitmoyer Ford. We met with Lance Patton on Friday, who sold us our first Explorer back in 2002. He showed us some options, took a test drive and spent the day looking for the model we wanted with the options we asked for. The next day we purchased our new Ford Explorer XLT. Lance was great to deal with, very accommodating of our ever-changing minds and understood exactly what we were looking for. There was no pushy upselling of any higher priced packages, options, or warrantees-we were informed of everything but were not pushed in any way. This by far is the worst car dealership I have ever spoken to. I responded to a car on their website to get more information. I got an email from Dan, who told me there is no way to get a vehicle for that price, said he spoke to his manager there is NO way. I went to another dealership their vehicle is 260 less in price, final price. And they got the payment where I wanted it to be. So I called back, I preferred the color of the truck Whitmoyer had. Dan was out sick, so they gave me Nick, I waited an hour for a call back, called him back, he said give me a couple of minutes my manager is just finishing up with another customer. I called him back an hour later, he didn't accept my call, so they gave me Diana, she wanted me to explain the situation again to her, so I did. She said I need to talk to the manager, I said i have been waiting to speak to him or Nick. And Diana actually hung up on me while I was talking to her. I have never in my life been treated like this from a car dealership. The should be out of business, who are they to treat me like this. I would NEVER buy a car here. I would rather walk. read more
