I took my late model Escalade to this business for a full detail, hood paint correction and headlight restoration. Paid almost $500 and received the following: The detail on the vehicle was the equivalent of a bad car wash. He damaged my headliner by applying steam to it. Now sagging headliner in two spots. Needless to say he didn't clean the headliner. Windows where dirty as if the car wasn't washed. Definitely not detailed. Hood paint restoration left me with hairline scratches all over the hood. Headlight restoration only happened on one of the headlights. He inspected the vehicle a week before the appointment and told me he could get them both as good as new. Did not happen. There was no offer of discount due to not cleaning headliner. I was told it would take 6 hours to detail my car. He was calling saying it was ready 3:40 after I dropped it off. Keep your money you could do a better job at home with basic cleaning products. Very disappointed with this service and would not recommend. NO Pride in the work they put out. Horrible! read more

I just want to start off saying the 1st interaction was professional. I called last minute asking to get my car ready for a car show tomorrow(Saturday)!! He did not have any slots available however, he said the 1st open slot he has if a cancelation occurs he would call. He kept that promise. When i showed up and he opened his garage door the 1st thing you see is his banner. His garage is so professional. He walks around the car with you and talks about everything you want done. He is completely honest on saying he will try until he he is unable to. I can't say enough words on his professionalism, his kindness and his quality of work. When he called and said it was done i was so anxious to see the completed work. All im going to say is i almost had tears in my eyes. This car has NEVER looked this good by any means. The care he puts into his work speaks wonders. You will NOT NOT be disappointed on having him detail your car. Every car show from now on that i enter my car will come here prior to. On 24July2018, I took my 2017 Honda Civic Type R here to get detailed. A little over an hour and half later I get a call to come back. I get there and the owner tells me, he has no idea what happen, and thinks the brakes went out on my car, causing it to back up and hit another car. I'm pissed at this point. I could, maybe, believe that would have been the cause, because shit happens, but for anyone that owns a new honda civic....you know the steering wheel locks in places AS SOON as you turn it off. Plus, the Type R is a standard....so I could have believe it but the brakes going out, plus the gear(because it's in first gear), AND turning out of his driveway, then hit a parked car that was Catty corner to my car's orginal location. No. He or one of his employees drove it. I immediately took it to the dealership. NOTHING WRONG WITH THE BRAKES. Reported the incident to my insurance. and that was how I found out THIS BUSINESS DOES NOT HAVE INSURANCE AS HE CLAIMS!!!! $1,800 worth of damages to my car!!!! He had to pay the insurance company back some of that money out of pocket. This man, tried to say that my car, which is a standard, sat there for an hour and a half no issues, and never had any braking issues before(or after), but the brakes just for some reason didn't work that one time? not only that but it TURNED out of the driveway. This man has not only ruined the experience for going to him, but for trusting any small business owners out there. I would never recommend the owner or this business. I purchased a used car and the seats were rather dirty so I wanted to get them cleaned. I took the car to Bobby at Whitmar Shine and he did an Excellent Job. The seats are very clean, they look new. After having to detail myself several more parts of the interior, including washing the interior windows which weren't washed, and the glove box which wasn't touched, and after having to return because my headliners, seat belts and hard plastic areas weren't clean and overspray of trim black detailed were left on my paint, and paying more than $200 not including any compounding for swirl marks, for the price in the Killeen area, I just can't give a great recommendation. read more

I come to find out his shop is a family owned business with a legacy. It is stationed in the garage of his own home located in the heart of a great upscale neighborhood. As I pull up to his driveway, their legitimacy radiates from a banner above their detail port that lets me know exactly where to pull up to. I get greeted at the door like family, a backdrop of professional detail equipment blur behind him as I shake his hand. He introduces himself, the retired Army veteran, a Combat Medic at that who continues to care for people through cosmetically servicing their cars so that they can drive away in a pride and joy. So that their cars are babies again. He displays his pride by telling his story of his skill set being passed down from family and every bit of effort is financially insured as a professional company should be. I trust him. So I leave my car entrusted with him as I continue my day around a 2 hour window of mystery. When I get the call that his work is complete, I eagerly have my wife drive me back there. Damn. When his garage door opened, that thing was magic. I have NEVER in my wildest dreams and history of ever caring for my car could I have ever imagined my car would look as pristine and sexy as it did that day. I was at a loss for words when I witnessed the meticulous effort he placed in every single nook, cranny, crack and crevice of my vehicle. HOW?! He literally defined the definition of detail in "Auto Detailing". I felt a mixture of emotions as I had not only realized I discovered a gem in the heart of Killeen Texas, but I had also been duped out of spending hundreds of dollars at other detail places through out my life that were not even worth a fraction of the price. This family took care of me in a way that I felt like I was getting away with something. The value far exceeded the price!! And to prove its worth, the inspection report for the lease was clean the very next day! I owed nothing upon returning it! It looked so good that they had already put it on the market. I looked at my wife and knew we had to take our second car, an SUV back to him for the next episode. I had asked Bobby Whitmar if there was any opening on his list for one more fortunate soul. I was about to embark on a 3 day road trip through 9 different states and I wanted him to still detail my other car so that I may take advantage of any rare protection I could get for my car. I was blessed with another appointment. Again, my wife and I were stunned. His work is sorcery, lol. My dog had pooped in my leather back seat, and it had seeped into the holes of the leather. Bobby had pulled it out. I had deep soil in my front seats, Bobby pulled it out. My steering wheel was radiant. The leather that encased my auto shifter, was shimmering. Windows were clear as air, and waterproofed. Odor was GONE. He showed me sample jar of black water that he had sucked out of my interior! The carpet UNDERNEATH my gas and brake pedal was new!! I know this because he explains his work as he enjoys watching you inspect your car, he navigates you throughout your own vehicle. And the exterior, are you kidding me?! The secrets of his technique are forever locked away in my paint. He had stripped away all of the impurities in my paint job and triple sealed it, buffed it , whatever he did was phenomenal. Like a mirror. He explained to me the imperfections from the manufacturer , and still corrected their mistakes! He pulled out dings, dents, and even showed me his process on buffing the paint back into the marks that used to be there! My car will now last 6 more months like this! And all I have to do is merely wash off the bugs when I get to the end of my road trip without a worry in the world. Take my money please! The comparison I will hold to anybody after him will be brutal for I am relocating to another state. Whitmar Shine Mobile Detailing sets the standard. Bar None. They are the boss level. Anytime you are in Killeen Texas, do yourself, your travels and your car a favor, and go visit Whitmar Shine to turn your car out man. They are the Grandmasters of this game, the Abbot. Whitmar shine is a great business. I got my old car detailed her and he did a great job and shampooed my seats looked brand new. I got my car detailed from someone (can't remember exactly who) but I wasn't satisfied, I took my car to him a few days later and he did a great job. I even sat there and talked to him for a while and he was a cool guy. Ask about the stuff for the seats. I can't remember what it's called but it makes the seats less permeable.
