We have always had great interactions with Tehachapi Parks and Rec. They have a great website you can log onto and you will see all the new activities that are coming out. They have youth and adult sports and fitness classes, something for all ages. My son used to play baseball through here and my daughter played basketball. We even did tiny tots when my son was a baby. The front desk people are super nice and helpful. Located in the back corner of Philip Marx Central Park, can be accessed if you walk across the park or if you take East "C" street all the way to the end and around the curve. That will take you right to the entrance and would be more convenient if you are carrying a lot of stuff. You can rent the facility for $50 an hour, there is a two hour minimum. You will also have to pay a $100 cleaning and security deposit and that is refundable if you leave the place the way you found it. But if you've done your due diligence, checked the weather and are fully prepared Tehachapi Mountain Park can be a great hiking adventure. Even if you opt not to hike and just explore the campgrounds you'll enjoy the scenery. But take the all uphill trail to the peak and you'll be rewarded with some fantastic views of the valley below. Highly recommend reading weather reports before visiting.

Every Friday at 6 but doors open at 4 and it gets crowded. The metal chairs you sit on for three hours are extremely uncomfortable. I would suggest bring chair pads to sit on.

They are attentive, respectful, mindful, thorough, and consistent. The psychiatrist I saw was willing to listen to my mental problems and I think June the therapist was a very sweet lady there to just listen which I can always appreciate. I really like the dentist I see. She and the assistants make me feel comfortable and they seem non judgemental. I have the nastiest teeth for a 32 year old. Tsk tsk on me. The substance abuse counselor, Mr. Felix was such a breath of fresh air. He went at my pace and we set realistic goals for my road to recovery. I will always choose their services over anyone else's except I'm in a program which means I have to see my program's psychiatrist only. Very good people and professional :)
