I visited this dental provider for treatment of a fractured tooth. I was told that they had spoken…read morewith my insurance, received pre-approval, and that I would only owe a $X copay. I waited for two hours while they supposedly obtained this pre-approval. After paying the copay, I received the procedure. However, I was later sent an invoice stating that my insurance had rejected the claim. When I contacted my insurance company, I learned that the dental office had never actually obtained pre-approval. When I confronted the office about this, they claimed it was a "pre-determination," not a pre-approval. I have all of this documented in emails from them. Please be cautious--my experience suggests they may provide misleading information and engage in questionable billing practices.
