I have never walked out on an appointment for dental before…read more Until I met Dr. Choi. I went to Dr. Choi for the first time about a year ago for my initial appointment. During that visit, she was laser focused on replacing my gold crown that I've had in place with no issues for about 20+ years. No pain, no ache, no symptoms. On a follow up cleaning 8 months later, before the hygienist came in, Dr. Choi did another x-ray and began harping again how this tooth was in danger of imminent. When I asked to see both her original x ray and the new x ray, there was no discernable difference in the small shadow on the tooth. When I told her that I could not see a difference, it apparently hit a nerve with her and she said she could see a difference and that she looks at x rays all day long every day. After she left the room, I decided to walk out of the appointment. Once home I called the office manager, told them I didn't plan on returning, and that I mentioned that Dr. Choi needs to not see patients until she learns how to speak appropriately to them. The office manager replied that "was my opinion". Shocking....

I waited for two hours while they supposedly obtained this pre-approval. After paying the copay, I received the procedure. However, I was later sent an invoice stating that my insurance had rejected the claim. When I contacted my insurance company, I learned that the dental office had never actually obtained pre-approval. When I confronted the office about this, they claimed it was a "pre-determination," not a pre-approval. I have all of this documented in emails from them. When I moved to Odessa about a year ago, I honestly thought I'd never find another dental office that could compare. Then I found Trinity Dental Arts, and I couldn't be more impressed. Basic fabulous things: Timely, clean, professional and friendly- From my very first visit, I felt completely at ease. Every member of the staff is professional, kind, and attentive. Their technology is truly cutting-edge -- everything from Invisalign to imaging is done with precision and efficiency. I've never had to wait, and they're always willing to work around my sometimes hectic schedule. My whole family now comes here -- my husband, who's also doing Invisalign, and even my daughter who lives in California. When she was in town for a short visit and needed some last-minute dental work, the team went out of their way to fit her in before she had to fly home. That meant so much to us. Beyond the excellent dental care, what stands out the most is how personal they are. They remember our names, our stories, and even ask about how my family is doing. On my recent visit, they shared kind words my daughter had said about me during her own appointment -- that small gesture spoke volumes about their heart and professionalism. After a full year of consistent, outstanding visits, I can confidently say this is a truly exceptional dental practice -- led and run by an amazing, all-women team that balances expertise, warmth, and genuine care. If you're looking for a dental office that makes you feel like family and delivers top-quality results, Trinity Dental Arts is absolutely the place to go.
