I barely left the house because I felt like my smile scared the neighbors and when I had to talk to people I always covered my mouth. Dr Kasey and team were compassionate, understanding, and so helpful. Every step of the treatment plan, including charges, was explained up front so there were no surprises. I was asked frequently during appointments if I needed anything, right down to a blanket and the remote for the ceiling-mounted tv. The staff here really treats you like family. After a smile makeover, I feel like a completely different person. My teeth are beautiful and I can finally feel comfortable talking to people again. Every step of the process was wonderful, I can't recommend this office highly enough. Thanks Dr Kasey and team!!

I instead went back to my original dentist in South Tampa who confirmed that, while I did need a cleaning, I did not need to be seen by a periodontist nor did I need a cleaning under anesthesia. My wife recently went to the practice, which apparently has all new physicians and hygienists because the other ones left, and was told that she had two cavities and needed them addressed immediately which she did not do because she has never had a cavity in her 39 years. This place is a scam and all they do is push for you to get unnecessary treatment so they can overcharge. I would highly suggest not going to this practice.

RUN away from these thieves! This should be a 0 rating. They say they accept DeltaCare USA, but…read morethey do not honor their contracted fee schedules. This is unethical and fraudulent. I am in utter disbelief over my recent estimate. Not one charge was what my insurance fee schedule co-payment is. Everything was price gouging and treatment not necessary. PLEASE go elsewhere there are still ethical caring dentists around who honor contracted insurance plans. If you don't like the contracted allowances then don't accept the insurance it's that simple but up charging and adding fraudulent services is unethical and you should be held responsible. They should be ashamed of themselves, they all took a doctors oath. All they care about is money not their patients well being. KARMA!!!

Dr. Thomas had several techniques that made the procedure more comfortable than any of my previous experiences from a different dentist. I have had every type of insurance and somehow, Friendly Smiles always makes it work. In addition to flexible appointments, being professional and talented in the field of dental hygiene- I truly enjoy the personalities of all of the people here. What stood out most for me this year- when my autistic toddler injured a tooth and I couldn't get his dentist to call me back. Desperate, I called FS Carrollwood and they agreed to do an assessment and x-rays the same day. The compassion and care was better than I imagined possible and my son is fine. If you want a dental office who you can count on and will stick with you, even do what I call a favor- this is the place. I do not think searching for the best deal in town or the fastest service is what really matters when you want a dentist. Friendly Smiles rates are highly competitive and they accept many times of insurance. I understand some people have had bad experience, this is not typical of this office. off and on since my late 20s I have come here. sometimes as cash paying, sometimes dental plan or insurance. I never had a bad experience but now I am a loyal client for life. When something important to someone you love happens it's reassuring to have a trusted practice you can count on.

Dr. Ishak has brought with her some of the latest technology, like 3D imaging of your mouth, and handheld x-ray machines, plus I'm sure that much more behind-the-scenes has been done, all for the benefit of the patients. She is extremely efficient and spectacular at her job. First I had her re-bond some teeth, and you can't even see where the fix was. Next she diagnosed an ongoing problem I had that, quite frankly, the previous dentist had ignored. It was a multi-step process, and she - and her dental assistant, Amber - were amazing throughout. Constantly checking with me, letting me know what was happening, what to expect next, and what time frame I was looking at. The dental hygienist, Alondra, I see twice a year at the practice is also outstanding. Friendly, outgoing, and quick, we have had some great conversations while I'm undergoing the necessary semi-torture of regular cleaning. Finally, Sara at the front desk is so friendly and organized, that checking in and checking out is a breeze. If you are in the market for a new dentist, I would definitely give this office a try!
