I am absolutely disgusted with the way my wife was treated as a new patient at Lutz Dental. I've never seen such a complete lack of professionalism, communication, accountability, or basic respect for another human being.
The visit started with the staff tearing up the inside of my wife's mouth while taking X-rays because they couldn't even position the equipment correctly. A routine set of X-rays should not leave someone bleeding and in pain. If this is considered acceptable by this office, then something is seriously wrong with the training of their staff.
It only got worse from there.
They sat my wife in an operating chair and completely forgot about her. She waited there for over an hour with absolutely no communication. No one came to explain what was going on, when she'd be seen, or even acknowledge that she was sitting there. Every time we asked someone what was happening, we got a different clueless response.
The fourth staff member we asked finally admitted they didn't even know my wife was there for a cleaning. Think about that. She had been sitting in that chair for over an hour while patient after patient was taken back, treated, and sent home, and nobody even knew why she was sitting there.
At that point, we'd had enough. My wife got up, walked out of the office in tears, and we left. No patient should ever be pushed to the point of leaving a medical office crying because they were treated like they were invisible and completely forgotten.
That isn't a minor mistake. That's pure incompetence.
The only thing this office could offer after wasting our time, injuring my wife during X-rays, and treating her like she was invisible was a half-hearted "sorry." No accountability. No meaningful explanation. No effort to make things right.
If this is how Lutz Dental treats brand-new patients who are trusting them with their health, I can't imagine how they treat everyone else. The staff appears poorly trained, completely disorganized, and incapable of communicating with each other. The level of negligence and disrespect we experienced was unbelievable.
As a husband, watching my wife have her mouth injured during X-rays, then sit there forgotten for over an hour before walking out in tears because no one even knew why she was there, made my blood boil. She deserved compassion, professionalism, and respect. Instead, she was treated like an inconvenience.
I would never recommend Lutz Dental to my family, friends, or anyone else. If you're looking for a dental office that values your time, treats you with respect, and employs competent staff, keep looking. This office earned every bit of this complaint, and I sincerely hope they take this as a wake-up call before another patient is treated the way my wife was. read more
