When we saw her 10 minutes after that, we let her know that some of our food came out cold. Her solution was to reheat the cold food or remake it. After being there around an hour, we really did not feel like staying, so we asked for neither. She sent her manager to talk to us. We did not catch his name, but he was wearing a University of Miami polo shirt. He offered the same solutions. When asked why we didn't have food for 45 minutes, he said a pizza can take up to 15 minutes to make and they were very busy. When I asked what he meant, the restaurant was not full, he asked if I wanted my food or not. I told him no, that I didn't really care for cold food and I was not sure if it was safe to eat. When I asked him that why we had not seen a server from the time we ordered until then, he said "What? Because your drink was empty or something?" At that point, I did not really want to argue over cold food and a waste of time, so we paid for our food and left. It was pretty disappointing to wait 40-45 minutes for cold food. It felt like our server went on break and no one covered for her, or noticed that some tables were going without service. I hope this is not what we should expect from Hamlin Pub. We also shared the Ruben egg rolls and they were delicious as well. The only thing is they were two egg rolls cut into 6 pieces, which seemed a bit pricey. If you want a Ruben, you might just want to do the sandwich. The beverages were reasonably priced with a good variety to choose from. The inside was clean and they have plenty of seating. They have some unique seating arrangements and a small game area. They also appear to have an outdoor area, which was only used for the patrons who smoked as it was too cold to sit outside.
