The menu is extensive and we only had coffee and one item each so it's hard to give a true review of this place without having tried too much. Love that they have a patio with service and that it's conveniently located near the beach. The prices are comparable to city prices which is surprising for a tourist spot. Portions seem to be decent. The latte/espresso isn't too special and tastes like it's made out of a machine and not with real espresso. It's not the worst, but it's better to drive to Poor Michael's up the road in Onanole if you're looking for a real cup of java.

Sorry Timmy's - you get away with a lot because your coffee it cheap and has become a Canadian…read morestaple, but this particular location could really step it up a notch, or five. Since it's situated on the Canada 1 highway between a couple very long stretches of road, and right at the junction North of Brandon, it will never close. It will always have business from folks on the move, and it's unlikely they will ever get the feedback they need to improve. I do understand that it's an extremely busy spot so keeping up with demand probably adds significantly to the issues, but in the service industry, that's no excuse. Staff are rather grumpy, and there is always some kind of small mistake with the majority of my orders. It's possible that I am the unusual case that orders more than just coffee, but it's nothing too complicated. Here are the types of small errors: the wrong flavour of parfait, the wrong kind of bagel, coffee instead of tea. They are all small, but since it happens regularly, it really encourages me to take the extra time and stop somewhere else before a long road trip. Good luck guys - also, why don't you offer old timbits to doggeis anymore? The other Timmy's locations in Brandon do!

But i have learnt not to visit the north hill location on the night shift ( after 11pm ) as on more than one visit , with no customers in store and only 4 vehicles in the drive thru (myself being the fourth) .... im not kidding when i say it took 18 minutes before the second vehicle pulled up after ordering, and the order menu is so bright that from where i was parked i can clearly see that poor persons face lit up bright white .... also the fact that i could also see them not talking , so i would figure they waiting for the person to take the order , and they take long like they are busy doing something else. This happens consistently ... DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION AT NIGHT !!

On a recent trip to the lake, I ate lunch at this location twice and both times the food was excellent (4 stars) but the service was below average (2 stars). The food is excellent, at least on par with the original location. I love the pizza here, especially the Mediterranean (olives, goat cheese, red pepper, eggplant & spinach). The Margherita is also good, but is not made in a traditional way, so do not look to it for the classic Neapolitan pizza style. I also really enjoyed the Beet Root & Goat Cheese salad (which could in fact be considered a meal by itself because it is huge!) that has a perfect amount of orange citrus taste to help make it unique. I enjoyed a few cocktails here, the one that stood out was a Dill Vodka Caesar. Unfortunately, the second time I was there and trying to order it, the bar was out of garnish for the drink. The bartender had car trouble (or something?) and it took some convincing for the server to even consider cutting a lime for the drink, which thankfully, she eventually did. Overall, the service was a little cold but I guess it was efficient. It is just not what you expect and or want to pay for while you are vacationing. The second visit (missing bartender) was some of the slowest service I have ever had, it took over 90 minutes for lunch, as the kitchen was also operating at a snails pace. Maybe it was my fault for coming during the transition from breakfast to lunch? The food is worth the wait if you have the time and patience.
