On April 4, 2022 (Monday) at 9:15 am I Went to the clinic to do a exam exam for the VA. I walked in…read morethe 1st set of double doors and Was yelled at by 2 ladies "that I need a mask." I asked if they had a mask I could have because I didn't have any I just traveled 35 miles from Danville Illinois. They yell back at me said "we don't have masks for the general public". I said " I don't want to cancel my appointment but what else should I do?" The Rude lady that was later identified as Mary "office manager" said "I will cancel it no problem at all" with a real bad attitude. So I left went out in the parking lot talked to an African female and she said she worked there then a African male came up to my truck and said he was a Doctor and he owned the clinic." He said " come on back in I'll get you a mask. " I said "I was I just denied service by 2 of your receptionists at the front and one of them didn't even have a mask on as she was walking through the clinic and I would not go back into a clinic that I was just treated rudely and disrespected until he got rid of those 2 ladies because obviously they don't care. " I called back the office and spoke to the manager Mary and asked to speak to the attenting Doctor that my appointment was with she said "hes with a patient and will call me back later in the day." I also asked her about the mask policy and she "said that they don't offer any mask to the general public and that she had already talked to the LHI and they did not treat me rude." Then I ask "why is it the doctor Offered to give me a mask if I came back in after I was treated rudely by her, so who is lying her or the doctor? Then she hung up on me. As you see Mary should not be an office manager she may need to work back in the filing where she doesn't work with the general public , she's very rude along with the other receptionist that walked through the clinic with no mask on I believe this clinic needs to be a aware how they treat people. I have still have not received a call back from the treating Doctor.

My father has been a patient at Bayview in Danville, Illinois for several years. He was recently…read morein a short term nursing home for a very serious condition. When he was discharged from the nursing home he became ill and could not get out of the house. I called Bayview because he needed a refill on his life saving medication (insulin). After speaking to a very rude and unhelpful office assistant, she advised me that they would not refill his insulin until he could come in for an appointment. The problem with this, however, is that he was very sick. I thought the reason for having a primary care physician was to be granted certain privileges such as having a common 30 year medication, not some addictive opiate, refilled on the phone? At a minimum they could have said they will give my father his refill on his medication (that he has been taking for 30 years) but he must have an appointment to get any further refills. And by the way, this was not my first incident with Bayview. This incident just solidified my reason to take my father elsewhere. Please, if you care about yourself or your loved ones avoid this place like the plague!!!

I've been here a couple of times for a specific issue…read more I love the self check-in procedure. Facility is very clean (from what I've seen) and all staff, from schedulers to the Drs, have been exceedingly friendly. Don't expect to spend a lot of time with your provider. I'm never with mine for longer than 15 minutes and appointments book out weeks, if not a month or two, in advance. I like my provider, though. He has great beside manner. My only real complaint is that a direct line for each department is not listed for patients to see. Ex: gynecology, dermatology, etc. You're given a phone number that sends you directly to the general scheduling center. If you have an urgent question, reaction to medication, etc. I'm sure the operator can connect you to the appropriate nurse, but I strongly dislike the fact that you can't contact each department on your own. You have to explain your situation to a scheduler and then they determine how to handle your call. I will return and continue to be a patient because I have yet to be disappointed. If you're looking for very special attention, you won't get it here. I'm sure the Drs see upward of 50 patients a day, thus the 15 minute appointments. Use their online portal system for medication refills or to send a message/question to your Dr. The portal has worked very well for me, but plan to wait a few days for a reply. Great location. Ample parking.
