My husband works late hours and they are closed by the time he gets out, so they added $50 for 2 days late. We live 40 mins from Shelbyville and are a one income family. When I called to explain our situation and settle the bill, it was $285!! I spoke to the owner to try to work a payment out and she was completely rude and unsympathetic. Instead she tried to embarrass me by threatening to call and make the mother of groom pay. When I explained to her she didn't need to get her involved and that I could pay her on Friday when my husband gets paid (I spoke to her on a Wednesday), she said just to call the dry cleaners and pay with card over the phone. When I did call on Friday as promised, they said it would be a $9.99 additional fee for using a card to pay, which the owner also failed to mention. $300 for a rental?!? I have never had to pay so much for a rental tux that was worn for one day! That's a month's worth of groceries nowadays.
