I have to say its the small venues that pack the biggest punch!! Yes, it's small. It can get packed up real quick so I highly recommend you get in line real early. Even if you don't, there is a bar right next door. The crowd and atmosphere was just right for the kinda night and good time we wanted. Plenty of food and coffee trucks you could ask for. Drinks may be alil pricey but that's just how it is. The drink menu is pretty good so you will have options. Be sure to hydrate if you go during the summer.

I came to see an artist and there were two other performances at this venue for the same time. Inside the venue, it feels like there's no AC so we are all sweating. One girl vomited and had a panic attack. I will say it's good that the venue started handing out ice water but it's unacceptable how hot this venue is. It's 77 degrees outside but feels way worse with all of us squished in her. Please do better with the air conditioning and making sure it's cool enough. We paid for a $5 water before they started handing it out for free.

Jim E Brown opened up for Lebanon Hanover @ White Oak Music Center. He was funny but the goth crowd wasn't having it.

Venue was cool and the bar staff were friendly. There was no food that I saw. Great sound

My family and I went to go see djo in concert here on Sunday 10/05/2025 it was amazing the venue was beautiful and the band was amazing we ordered the brisket fries and they were sooo amazing i would definitely recommend coming here for concerts I wish more bands come here

The way the hall can be reconfigured makes it one of the better venues in this town. The only drawback is parking. It's better just to Uber.

Love this venue. Most big shows are preformed out on the lawn/outdoor area. There is an indoor venue for smaller shows. They usually offer beer and some mixed drinks options. Bathrooms always clean. Only complaints is the ticket fees. They hurt. Otherwise my fav venue by far

This was a great, quaint venue for a concert. There were 2 food truck options. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Saw Clairo here and it is a small but well set up venue that keeps you close to the artist and a more intimate setting than large stadiums or huge lawns. Make sure to get there early though!

After visiting this spot a few times, I decided to write about it... If you have the opportunity to attend a concert here, you should absolutely do it. Especially if it's a band that you love and really want to see. There's not a bad seat in the house and every viewpoint is fantastic. It's a very intimate setting, the sound is great, and I was extremely happy with how much I enjoyed the show. Drink prices were about as you'd expect for a place like this and I was glad to see so many bar tenders at the outside and inside parts of the venue, so there was never ever a wait in line situation. Sound on stage was great and the hill outside makes for a great view, even being way in the back. I would definitely come more shows here. Enough parking in the rear. Bye for now:)

Stage area from midway up the hill.

Probably the best venue in Houston. Various rooms and an outdoor area. Parking sucks so I would recommend ubering.

Ask the Community - White Oak Music Hall

Do they cancel shows when it rains? Will they refund ticket if event is cancelled?

It depends on if your show is inside or out. They may move it inside. Any time I have had a show cancel there though they have refunded me.

Is the area around the amphitheater safe?

It seemed like it was. My son and I walked around there a good bit.

What is better balcony a or balcony be?

Seriously, they are both good areas.

    Is it air conditioned?

Yes, if you go to an indoor event. The outdoors venue is not. It's open air.

I'm planning on going to see Vampire Weekend perform on the lawn in August. Is it worth paying more to sit in the balcony?

It's more of a preference thing. Rather you prefer to be in the mix or sitting separately for the crowd.

Ambiance (3/5): Dan Electros is located in a residential neighborhood. They have a relatively small parking lot and it was completely full on a Wednesday. We ended up parking on the street a block or two away. Initially, I wasn't too impressed. Dan Electros has a gravel parking lot. Never a fan. It gets your car dirty and your shoes dirty. When you walk in though, you're entering a dive bar with some character. It's tough to describe what that is exactly but it's something you feel. Dan Electros hosts a lot of live music and they have a small dance floor. If you're into live music, as I am, this may be the spot for you. They also have a pool table which is always a plus in my book. Service (4/5): I ordered a drink at the bar. I was greeted promptly and received my drink promptly. When I later went back to the bar to close out, I was able to do so without much effort. Solid experience overall. Food (N/A): I didn't have any food as I had dinner prior, but I don't think they have food anyway. I'm not 100% though. Drinks (4/5): For a dive bar, Dan Electros has a cool menu with some interesting cocktails and a good beer list. Even at a dive bar, it's nice when you can order more than just beers and simple cocktails. With that said, I had a beer. When in Rome.

There is a cover charge of $10 for most of the performances but if you check out their website and the calendar, some of the shows are free also. The crowd is mixed but as would be expected with the genre of music, it's older - I would guess the average age of the crowd on the night I was there was 50-60 but they were getting down and having a good time so that's the important part! Parking kind of sucks here so I would suggest coming in early and if you find something in the parking lot or by the mechanic shop, back your car in because people will likely park behind you and it'll be pretty tight getting out later. There is also street parking around the neighborhoods but check the signs to make sure you don't need a permit.

The venue does have clear bag and bag check policies, so make sure to check on their policies on their website before arriving. This location hosts multiple different businesses. Once arrived at the location, finding the entrance/floor to the venue itself was confusing unless you've been here before. There was barely any instructions on how to get to the actual venue itself. It is located on the third floor, and the elevator for that is old and smelly. The interior of the venue was not bad, but it wasn't the best either. The venue's lighting was also super dark even before/after the concert. My group had the front row balcony seat, and the view was actually pretty decent. I had purchased the party pass which came with priority entry, a small selection of foods, and a drink. You can find the menu on their website, but the menu is pretty pricey. I got the lemonade and chicken tenders/fries, and they tasted okay. My friend had the second row floor seat (which at certain spots were blocked by stage equipments). She also paid for the associated parking ahead at the time of booking, but the parking turned out to be super far from the venue, which wasn't great either. Overall I probably would not come back here unless there was a concert I really didn't want to miss.
