Attention fellow coffee snobs! This place is legit! A must-visit if you're in the area. Good thing it's across an ocean, otherwise we would be here every morning! The coffee is just so flavorful! It is not burnt tasting, but has a lot of fragrant notes. The oat milk latte was extremely smooth and delicious. No sugar or syrups needed! DH also got a latte, because they didn't have cappuccinos. He said, "It was super smooth. It was really good. It wasn't as intense as the coffee from their beans. It was quite possibly the best latte I've ever had." We splurged for a 7 ounce small bag of Kona SL34 beans for $38 to take home. Believe us, it was well worth it! There is a small seating area under an awning. Most folks seemed to be taking their coffee to go. Also, there's a really cute shop right next to it, full of high quality home decorations, kitchen items, souvenirs, and snacks. I stopped by here earlier today for my morning coffee. Whenever I go on vacation I try to hit up a new coffee shop every morning and on this day I ended up heading over to White Nene Coffee Roasters. This shop is a trailer in Holualoa and serves as a front for their micro roastery to serve their own coffee. On the morning I was there, two people were working and the place was busy. When we arrived around 8:15 there was a longish line and no parking right next to the shop. Thankfully the line moved pretty quickly. After looking over the menu I was stuck between a few interesting options and after asking for a recommendation, I was pointed toward the Black Sesame Miso Latte. The menu described it as espresso, brown butter miso syrup, milk, and black sesame cold foam. Within a reasonable amount of time I had my drink and was on my way. This latte was unlike anything I have had before. The brown butter miso syrup gave it a really complex flavor while the black sesame added a nutty, slightly savory depth. The coffee itself was strong and bold and still came through despite the other flavors. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I really enjoyed how unique and complex this drink was and would be interested in trying their shaken trinity latte and Thai latte as well. read more

A MUST visit! It's a little ways up the hill from Kona but it's worth it. The drive alone gives you nice views and there are a few shops nearby too. They have parking and seating, an easy place to work for a few hours. The coffee and drinks were DELICIOUS! Their flavored lattes balanced sweetness with coffee flavor. I also tried the sesame matcha and it was one of the best matchas I've ever had. The staff was friendly and helpful, they were busy but still patient and kind with each patron. read more

White Nene Coffee Roasters is one of the cutest little cafe I've seen around the area. They're located in the same lot as Petals & Provisions (also one of the cutest shops I've seen). I'm so glad we gave White Nene Coffee a try on the last day of our stay in Hawai'i. I guess White Nene Coffee Roasters is usually a single man show. At the time that we went, the employee who helped us out was very knowledgeable about coffee! He was also really friendly and nice! We had a great time chatting with him about our hometown. White Nene's menu is small, but they got unique and great syrups. They have a few seats in front of the shop for you to enjoy your drink and breakfast. My partner ordered a Haupia Chai topped with coconut cream while I got a Coconut Cold Brew with Miso Butter syrup (they usually mix this with vanilla syrup, but I really wanted to give their Miso Butter syrup a go). The Coconut Cold Brew was just what I needed today. A little creamy, but strong and slightly sweet, refreshing drink. There's a subtle savory note thanks to the Miso Butter. Although I usually prefer lattes, I have to say that this cold brew is one of my top favorite drinks I got during my stay here. My partner's Haupia Chai was super delicious as well. This coffee shop/truck is so cute! My friend and I stumbled upon this and we loved the setting and the coffee & food. I ordered a caramel miso iced latte which was surprisingly delicious! Somehow caramel and miso work nicely together and I thoroughly enjoyed my drink. A few others also ordered the same drink so I feel like it must be a popular flavor! I also ordered a rosemary biscuit which was very good - strong rosemary flavor with cheddar cheese. Service was good though there was only one worker there, so we waited a little longer than expected, but we were not in a rush and there's a small shop you can browse while you wait. Just off to the side there were a few small tables set up with flowers. My friend and I sat to enjoy our treats and enjoyed a relaxing morning. Parking was also easy - there is a parking lot off to the side with plenty of spots. I highly recommend this coffee shop and would love to visit again the next time I'm in Hawaii! read more

I lover their coffee. Its the best. Their communication is horrible. I have looked and looked for a phone number. I have sent 3 emails and no reply back. I have not received my subscription and all 3 months have been very funky deliveries. I can't cancel if nobody doesnt answer.. I hate to have to check my credit card to see if I've been charged for a product. I received an email on Dec 2nd saying order confirmed. I checked my status of my order today and it says pending fulfillment. NOT A WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS read more

White Nene Coffee is an absolute must-visit! We visited the Holualoa Coffee Trailer location, but they also have a spot at the Keauhou Farmer's Market. The coffee trailer location is tucked right next to two small shops that are great to browse in before or after your coffee stop! We decided to try their Iced Latte and Cold Brew with fresh coconut whipped cream. Both drinks were exceptional! The iced latte was perfectly balanced--a refreshing treat on a warm summer day. The Cold Brew with fresh coconut whipped cream was super tasty (would definitely recommend trying this!). I believe it was on a "Specialty Drink"-type menu, and I can't recall if there was an exact name for this drink. It was a standout for me! I love coconut and incorporating this flavor through the whipped cream paired nicely with the cold brew. It's the perfect drink for a warm day! Mark was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making great recommendations. The outdoor setup has a charming vibe, perfect for sitting down to enjoy your drink or grabbing something to go. I went to go get a coffee this morning and I even complimented the baristas pins. Then when I ordered my coffee he told me that he couldn't take my cash if I didn't have exact change, I told him I don't need change, and he could just keep the remains $2.60 as a tip. He then proceeded to raise his voice at me telling me how he didn't even have $1s to tip himself out and refusing to take my payment for the order. Like um okay so your drawer is going to be over $2 is that really such a tragedy that you have to yell at, and then lose a customer? He was so rude and talked to me like I was a literal idiot to the point where I didn't even want anything any more and left. Literal terrible customer service, I've been a barista for 3 years in an LA driver through, and I have never or would never have the audacity to treat a customer like that. 0/10 would not recommend read more

Loved everything about this cute little coffee truck. The coffee itself was amazing and we added some Miso caramel to it which was delicious - but they were quite heavy handed with the syrup which made it overwhelmingly sweet (a theme I've seen at all coffee shops here) but it was still good quality coffee. The barista was super friendly and the shop it's next door to is really cute (but $$$). Overall the best coffee I've had on this island so far! read more

I got an iced matcha and added the miso caramel flavor and it was divine!! As a matcha lover this drink exceeded my expectations. It's ceremonial grade and delicious. These guys are GOLD. Mark really knows his stuff....I've been a "fake" coffee drinker but after tasting White Nene's coffee I can't have it with sugar or flavoring. The coffee speaks for itself! They can be found at different local markets on the west side, are available for events and now have a more permanent spot up by Holualoa post office. A white coffee truck that makes you feel like you're in your best friends bougie backyard enjoying the most beautiful cup of coffee. Me and my husband were on our honeymoon in Kona when we came across white nene while on the hunt for a solid Kona coffee shop. This turned out to be one of my favorite coffee spots I have ever visited. So much so, we came back for a second visit less than 24 hours later lol. We got to talk with Gabriel, he was very informative & friendly. I appreciate the culture they have built. I love establishments who are passionate about both their craft (in this case, coffee) and people. We will without a doubt be visiting again before we head back home in a few days! read more

Great specialty coffee about 10-15 minutes from Kona proper. The owner has learned from Craig Lee, THE name in specialty on the big island. The service was great, the guy working there (forgot his name, sorry) was incredibly nice, and gave me some coffee farm recommendations and managed to track down some stickers for me! Such a cute set up right outside of a local gift and flower shop. I got an ube white chocolate mocha with oat milk over ice - devine! Cute little spot in Holualoa with super delicious, unique ingredient lattes. Mark has mastered roasting coffee to a very smooth flavor profile and each drink I tasted was equally smooth. We had an americano, a dirty turmeric latte, and one of the specials - a black sesame mocha. The drinks were available quickly, but still had a high level of artistry in them. The baked goods of the morning were a cardamom roll and a lilikoi roll - made by the local Sun Dog Bakery. Definitely recommend a visit! read more

White Nene is, by far, the best coffee in Kona. Seriously the best coffee I've had in Hawaii. Probably the best quality specialty coffee you can find here. The owner and staff really know how to make a great cup, the specialty drinks are always creative, but a simple oatmilk latte is my favorite. They roast all their own coffee and the owner is probably one of the best and most knowledgeable roasters out there. I can't give praise enough to White Nene. If you thought Kona coffee was all dark roast and oily beans, you need to try White Nene. I've been following the owner when he was only attending markets and I'm so excited to finally be able to go to the new cart as a regular! read more

The grounds itself are absolutely gorgeous and that view from the hill onto the ocean is unreal! I can't for the life of me remember our tour guides name but she was such a joy and extremely knowledgeable. Learning about the different coffee variants that are grown such as Kona typica, Progeny 502, and the "boujee girl" Geisha was awesome to learn about and see for ourselves. Did I mention endless coffee sampling? Such a relaxing atmosphere to sip all the coffee you want and enjoy that view. And the cutest cats on the property were such a delight mingling with the guests. All staff members were so helpful and they even treated us with a goodie bag of freshly picked fruits from the farm and a bag of peaberry bites (my new favorite) all as a thank you for paying a visit on our honeymoon! Was not expecting that all but such a sweet gesture! I would highly recommend Heavenly Hawaiian farms to anyone if you're on the Big Island or in the Kona area. Absolutely worth the trip up the hill and to feel the aloha from the staff and grounds.

The coffee shop is easy to find, as other business surrounding this business is the KTA Superstore, Hele Gas Station, HFS Federal Credit Union, O'Reilly Auto Parts, as well as many numerous eateries. It was late in the afternoon, so I basically came here for some drinks. I had to try their Kona Coffee, and I must say it did not disappoint! The coffee shop has indoor, as well as covered outdoor seating. The shop does sell some food items, but I did not partake or looked at what they had to offer. There was also coffee shop merchandise, but I did not have time to take a look at what they had to offer. Overall, as great coffee shop and if I'm in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stop by for their wonderful coffee.

They have free Wi-Fi available as well, so I saw a lot of people posting up on their laptops. Parking is plentiful and easy to find since this coffee spot is located in a strip mall. If you have a discerning palette for the subtle flavors that show up in different coffee beans, you will definitely want to stop by for a cup.

Parking lot is just above the roasting shed and below the coffee trees.
