I trusted White Mechanical because of the Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. I called on Monday morning and was able to get an appointment by Friday, which was a relief given this is probably the busiest season of the year. Our appointment was between 4 and 6, and we got a call around 5 that Wade would be at our house within half an hour. Wade was trustworthy, kind, and responsive, and even though it was a Friday afternoon, he was extremely thorough. He was even talking football with my husband and giving him pointers on checking on the air conditioning later. The price tag on a/c fixes is probably never small, but I trusted Wade completely that we needed what he told us we needed and that the price was fair. After an hour or so, we had fully functioning air again! Thanks Wade and White Mechanical for providing service the way service should be provided. read more

I cannot say enough good things on this review about service. Izzy and John went above and beyond to get my HVAC motor replaced. Was looking at no telling when next year with others...White Mechanical had the motor in the next day! Would recommend this Company highly for service and dependability!! read more

We had used WM for a second opinion on a noisy a/c issue that we were initially quoted for thousands of dollars by another company. Supposedly, the compressor was going bad and needed replaced. The technician arrived on time, was very professional and courteous, knew what he was doing, and best of all, he was honest. He diagnosed the problem as just some loose screws and the issue was quickly resolved. He said the unit is operating as expected for a 6yr old a/c unit and there was nothing wrong with it. He could have easily tried to scam us like the other guys and say the compressor was bad and just try to undercut the price of the first company, but he didn't. Thank you. Great work! read more

Outstanding Service! I arrived home early in the morning (12:00AM) to discover the heater wasn't functioning properly. In fact, it was blowing cold air and wouldn't stop. I Yelped three different business, including White Mechanical, which was the only company that called me back first thing in the morning (9AM). Anna was very nice on the phone and sent Steve out at 1PM. The heater was repaired. Steve was very thorough and educated my wife and I on how to prevent problems in the future. Overall, a great experience and would recommend this business before any others. read more

Amazing experience with White Mechanical replacing our 20 year old ac system. We weren't sure how much work we wanted to do and Steve was awesome giving us a quote with a few options so we were able to take our time and make an informed decision. No high pressure sales or trying to scare us into replacing items that are working fine. Costco rebates were an added bonus. Installation went smoothly and within a day. We have had the new system for a couple of months and everything is working perfectly and we are definitely noticing the energy savings vs. old system on our energy bills. Highly recommend these guys! read more

Charlie was AMAZING!!! He was super fast and honest about everything. Will definitely recommend him. Thanks White Mechanical! read more

My heroes!!! SERIOUSLY! A/C broke in record heat temps on a Saturday..reached out and Steve responded within minutes. He let me know they were pretty booked due to the high temps but that he would keep me posted if he would be able to come by same day. He was up front with prices. To my surprise he was able within hours to have a technician come out!! Nick arrived and was so professional and QUICK! I love that he had shoe covers and that I could tell he knew what he was doing. He took the time to educate me on a couple of things so that I may be able to troubleshoot myself next time. Turned out I needed a part replaced and AC was up and running quickly. I cannot recommend this company enough..the customer service, professionalism and honesty won me over. Thank you Nick and Steve!!!! read more

Jose and Daniel installed our heating and air conditioning. We were very satisfied with their professional service and would definitely recommend White Mechanical to others. Thanks Gary for an initial visit, answering questions, and solving our problems. read more

After having a quote of $700 plus labor to replenish the coolant from another company, I came to yelp and found White Mechanical. Called and Steve offered to come out the same day. We were busy so had him come the next day. He told us in 10 minutes what it took the other guy 3 hours to tell us. It ended up being about 1/3 the price we were quoted from the other company. On top of the wonderful work Steve did, he knows his guitars! Win, win! read more

Geraldo was great. Explained what the issue was clearly and gave an understanding of our AC stuff operates. Would definitely recommend and use again!! read more

I interviewed many potential vendors and researched the subject of AC and heating units extensively for my mother. It was important to me to find a reliable company that I trusted. White Mechanical was by far the most impressive and honest of all the vendors and they had great prices. The one word that keeps coming to my mind is IMPRESSIVE! Everything was perfect. I was very happy with the service and the quality of the products. Tim was extremely professional and responsive to all of our needs. I would recommend them again and again! read more

It's been long overdue for my review of this place. I had a problem with my heater a year and a half ago and called White Mechanical to take a look at it. They were timely, cost efficient, and they fixed my problem! In addition, when I disputed the amount of time they billed on my invoice they were able to work with me to come up with an agreeable amount. Great company, would do business again. read more

Mark from White Mechanical was very punctual and very personable. He explained things in layman's terms which made his visit excellent. From the call from your office to set up the appointment to the completion of the inspection very well organized I will recommend White Mechanical to all in need of air or furnace service. We are a tenant at one of the business parks White Mechanical provides quarterly maintenance service for on our AC units under contract with the landlord. We have 2 AC units for our location which have always worked fine until these guys show up. In the past 2 years we have had 3 separate instances (now 4) where our AC units stopped working on the exact same day White Mechanical provided "routine maintenance" on them. The landlord I assume pays them for these quarterly visits, but as the tenant we are responsible for any repairs or work needed on them. Not once during their service visits have they stepped inside our building to check to ensure it is working properly after completing their "routine maintenance service", nor provided a work order of the services performed, or recommended services/repairs to be performed if something was found to be wrong. They just leave and then presumably wait for us to call to say there is a problem with our AC, and here's what you have to pay us to fix it. After their most recent visit prior to today (and over $1500 in fees to repair AC units which were working fine before they touched them), we advised our landlord we do not want this company touching our AC units without our permission first. They agreed to our request and said they would update our account for future maintenance visits. Today, without our consent or notification, White Mechanical AGAIN touched and messed up our AC unit. We are now left without AC, any notification of potential issues, nor confirmation by their tech that everything was working fine inside our building. I don't usually write negative reviews but after the 4th time I feel this is not a coincidence and they should be exposed for their shady business practices. They may provide decent homeowner services, but when given a commercial contract situation where tenants have no choice and have to pay for AC repairs, beware, they will definitely take advantage of the situation. read more

White Mechanical installed New Lennox Furnace, Air-conditioner, Added a few vents for extra heating and cooling balance. They did an awesome job. Very Prompt. And completed the installation in the expected time frame agreed. They quoted us the same as standard replacement. And then some higher performing systems. We are very happy, and Impressed. The condensor unit outside is so quiet you can have a normal conversation while standing right there. It is the variable type. Most of the time the cooling is idling. The inside, Wow. The old original unit you could hear the exhaust fan start, the burner, then the blast of air. THe new unit,, Never hear it. The air flow for the heating & cooling is very effective, and gental. Our house is now very comfortable Always... And our energy consumption is almost 50% of the original unit. Thank You White Mechanical. We are very Happy with everything about this project. read more

I was very pleasantly surprised at the level of customer service across the board. Rene was so polite and helpful when scheduling the appointment and even called back to move up my appointment when they had a cancellation. Steve, Gabriel and Gary were great to work with. We had one little hiccup was discovered from the way the home was originally built and they were so quick to mobilize and return to make the necessary adjustments. They were punctual and careful around the house. I'd definitely recommend white mechanical read more

After almost two years of dealing with an office A/C that didn't work properly and several other companies who tried to fix it, White Mechanical was able to pinpoint the problem and get it back into working condition! Jerry was the service technician who figured it out and we will ask for him every time!! He was the best! Thanks, White Mechanical and Jerry. read more

White Mechanical is a top notch company that models exceptional customer service, which is lacking in today's world. Thank goodness they were referred to us through Costco. Gary, Steve and their team are: Service oriented - they were easily accessible and took the time to answer all of our questions. Experts in their field - they provide high quality products/installation, and know how to explain things in layman's terms. They provided options and were never pushy. Customer focused - communication was clear, and they genuinely want to help. We had an issue with our city inspector (not inspection results) and Gary and Steve arrived within 10 minutes of calling (on a Friday) to resolve the situation while being positive and patient with me. After all the work is done, they still treat you as a lifetime customer. I don't write many reviews but trust them enough to do so. No need to search anywhere else for HVAC needs, call White Mechanical! read more

Professional, Courteous and Honest! What a pleasant experience with WM. I called on short notice Friday afternoon for a Saturday appointment to have the A/C repaired at my Uncle's condo in Laguna Woods and they were able to squeeze me in. A previous repair company that had been contracted spent 3-days trying to fix this unit, replaced the thermostat, then finally said I needed a completely new system for $7K. The tech (Wade) from WM came out, evaluated the system and had to completely re-wire the mess the previous tech made. He had it running and blowing cold air again in a few hours! He also found a couple of broken ducts in the attic which was causing a major loss of cold air blowing into the attic and repaired those as well. We could not be happier with the service provided! We highly recommend White Mechanical for any Air Condition or Heating needs. read more

White Mechanical replaced both of our aging air conditioning units. Their people are courteous, knowledgeable, accommodating. From the estimation process through to final installation went very smoothly and we are extremely satisfied with the quality of the Lennox units they installed as well as the way the units were installed. The team installing the systems were always mindful of keeping the house clean and always shielded any work areas to minimize dust and dirt. They were even friendly to our pets and made sure the doors were always closed. read more

I am so lucky I found White Mechanical! Our air conditioner went out during a hot period and I called several companies to get service. Most gave me a time frame of a three days up to a week. My daughter was starting online school so we were all in the house during the day and the heat was excruciating so we needed help fast. I called White Mechanical and they got someone to come out that evening. Our AC unit is 16 years old (but we don't use it much) so I thought we were probably going to be told that we needed a new AC unit. The technician looked at our unit and realized it was one part. He fixed and it got it running again. Honest people -- that's rare to find! I highly recommend them! read more

I just moved into my first single family home, and discovered that the furnace was not working properly on Christmas Eve. I reached out to Steve at White Mechanical via the Yelp app, and he responded within 10 minutes. Due to the difficulty of sending out a technician on Christmas Eve, he video conferenced with me to walk me through the issues. The end result was, I definitely needed a service technician to come. They had everything wrapped up within 45 minutes in a very professional and efficient manner. I highly recommend this company to anyone who has air-conditioning and heating needs and is looking for help. Thank you Steve. read more

A friend (Dennis Kelly) recommended White Mechanical for an intermittent furnace/compressor issue. Compressor was occasionally tripping the breaker - or the breaker was defective and tripping). Repairman (Kirk) was very personable (wore a mask) and it was clear he knew exactly what he was doing. Intermittent problems are gnarly and he felt it might be a problem with my old breakers as everything else checked out. I am getting an electrician for another matter in a couple of weeks so I will have those breakers replaced. Was charged a nominal fee for the diagnostic visit which was disclosed at the time I made the appointment. I felt they were outstanding. read more

I had a bad experience with white mechanical because they over charged me . I spoke to them on the phone and they agreed on a price for changing a board on my heater and when they fixed it they charged me for the diagnostic fee on the top of the charge that we agreed on .when I spoke to the technician I asked him several times if that is the final price but I guess that is a new trick to make more money. when I called to explain to them what we agreed on they were very rude and the technician threatened me that we can come and take the part off. Stay away from them. read more

We had our 6-month HVAC service by White today. This is a good company. My initial appointment was confirmed immediately by text. A day before the service we got another confirmatory text. Other service companies could learn a lot from this outfit. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would! In June, White Mechanical came out to replace our AC unit. Our old unit stopped working YEARS ago. From the time of the estimate to the completion of the job, they showed nothing but the highest level of customer service. Their customer service staff and technicians are top notch! I highly recommend using White Mechanical. As a suggestion - you might want to check your AC unit long before the hot spells start. Our thermostat for heat and/or air conditioning went blank on the Friday of July 4th weekend. It turned out to be a long and very hot weekend. Left a message on telephone answering machine Friday afternoon. The call was returned Monday morning. Much to my surprise a technician was scheduled for the same day between 4 and 6 PM Robert May (the tech) arrived closer to 3 PM. He went to work tracing electrical lines from the fuse box to the central a/c unit checking for continuity. He found a burnt out fuse, replaced it, turned on the fan and blew the new fuse. A lot more checking took him out to the compressor, which is where the actual problem was. Robert remedied the cause, replaced the fuse and voila we had a/c. Robert is a new gem amongst the gems at White Mechanical. He is professional, methodical, pleasant and knowledgeable. Will ask for him by name when the need occurs. Phil G read more
