Cancellations are made last minute and include long, drawn out far-fetched laughable attempts at reasonable excuses. Don't question her on the frequent cancellations; she'll tell you your child is no longer permitted to attend. Stay away!!!!

The owner's prices for tuition are outrageous around show time. The costumes are beautiful but the delivery of her performances are horrible. As much as she charges for tuition and show tickets she doesn't offer her guests nothing like complimentary waters, mints, chips, etc. What put the icing on the cake for me was my child's last performance. It was extremely hot outside. She repeatedly said in the last meeting and in emails "do not pack dance shoes!". When we arrived for the show we were advised that the stage was very hot and try to get my child some socks to perform in. I just paid $20 to park, just brought all of my children with me and didn't want to risk the chance of not getting socks in time for my child. She had no alternatives for the kids feet not getting burnt on the stage. They said they would cool the stage down and they never did. All they had to do was put a tent over it, The only places that had tents were the people collecting tickets, the snowcone stand's tent flew away, the dj and the funnel cake stand had a tent. My child couldn't even finish her performance because of how hot the stage was. I witnessed several other children crying from the discomfort of the heat, some complaining of feeling sick, some burnt their feet too. My 1.5 year olds nose becaame so sensitive to the heat that she caught a summer cold. My daughter who performed had a heat rash on her face and her costume was drenched in sweat. When my daughter got off the stage I told her it's ok baby go get your shoes and she said one of the staff told her she should have gotten off of the stage in a more creative way! "Really?" My daughter just burned her feet because y'all didn't think about how hot the sandlot was! She was supposed to dance again in the 3rd show but we left because we were so upset. It's like Macee is rushing when putting these events together because they are horrible. I am so dissatisfied with her services and i wouldn't recommend this dance school to my worst enemy. It's very unprofessional, she needs a team that can help her plan more efficiently for her performances. I attached a screenshot of the email so that you'll know that this isn't made up and a picture of the girls on stage. Just look at their feet burning on the stage. This was a super unpleasant and upsetting experience.

We were members here for a while but after one of the staff members was coming to the kids zone and asking inappropriate questions about my kids I attempted to report her and the staff invalidated my child's reports and pretended like it never happened. So, I got to check out the grounds around the main building before the bride and groom arrived for rehearsal. They have a wonderful wandering Garden with Fountains and water features. I could sit by a loud water feature for hours. The wedding was in the garden, but the facility had prepared the Veranda in case the rain didn't clear up. In addition to the new main structure, they have Historical buildings and Summer camps.

Howard County Conservancy…read more We'll walk you to see the biggest beaver dam in Howard County Conservancy. Are you excited? Let's walk with us to the Wetlands trail! First you walk from the parking lot to the old barn, you can see it's located by the entrance roadside, and once you get there, walk down the trail, and keep going. You'll be in sort of intersection on your left but we won't turn left here, keep walking and you'll see a walking path *watch on your right with a (ruined) stone gate alike. Walk across the stone gate, turn left and walk for around 10-15 foot steps and turn right, and keep walking until you'll see a sign of small pond on your left, then you're on the right path. You can walk closer to the pond through the short path on your left (that's what we did) and watched any movement around the water, and we found a turtle from here! Or, you can continue walking down the previous path until you see a bridge on your left. From the bridge, you'll see the biggest beaver dam was created along the water line. How cool is that? Another coolest thing was, we bumped into THE BEAVER!! Aaaahhhh!?! Yeeessss!?! We explored and walked back to the trail and found wineberries patch and mulbery tree, so we stopped there and enjoy the berries! *check your left while walking up the hill. Along the walk, we also found A Story Walk, a Demonstration Garden next to Nature Play Scene, a sleeping Eastern Screech Owl, goats house and chickens house. That's a wrap for our good hike today! I bought a package from her for 10 classes and she told me they expired 6 weeks from the time purchased. I was determined to get them in, but she up and changed her hours last month after me only taking 5 classes. I contacted her for a class one day and she made up an excuse of why she couldn't have class that day. I was only off that day and my other day off her studio is now closed all day in general. That was the only consecutive day I had off every week. I contacted her that next weekend to see if I could come to class, and she tells me my classes expired, but when I tried to use them she was never available. She's a scam artist! I called on July 15 to discuss my family's in-progress move and was only able to schedule an appointment for July 23. During our meeting, I wanted to cancel the contract, but he said I must keep making payments until August, even though an extra fee was charged to my account right after signing. We're moving away, making it impractical to attend classes, yet they insist my child participate in a promotion ceremony on August 23 and that I can only withdraw after that. It's frustrating because my child isn't receiving proper instruction; although we have videos proving he isn't engaged, the instructor claims otherwise. This program seems more focused on profits than education, and I'm left confused about how to end this situation, especially with concerns about potential charges for August, September, and the mystery additional charge already taken.

I took adult ballet and tried my feet one year at adult hip hop. Miss Karen Daniels (the owner) is simply the best. She teaches in a way that is caring and supportive and all the while fun and awesome. You're always learning, but never feel pressured or chastised. This dance studio will always have a place in my heart. My bosses little girl took classes here too - and from him and all the other mom's i spoke with, the kids classes are out of this world as well. Highly recommended.
