Keto meals and desserts
Anne P.

A keto bakery! A nice surprise to fine a place that actually sold fresh baked Keto desserts and small meals. They sell chicken pot pies and lasagna. I couldn't resist the giant sized cinnamon rolls. I put one in the microwave and had it for lunch. It was delicious.

When you walk in, the great smell of cinnamon, slaps you from the winter cold.

Very nice greeting when I walked in. Bought a few goodies to go. They had cheesecake by the slice, and whole pies to go. The cashier said they do sell pumpkin pie with fresh whip cream. Lots of coffee choices and pasteries: muffins, cupcakes, cookies, bars, and breads. Nice place and people.

I cannot say enough good things about this establishment. It's entirely gluten free and offers a wide variety of options, which is a dream come true for someone with Celiac. My friends had to keep me from buying the place out! The women who worked there were also incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. There were also some keto options available (e.g., keto brownies, etc.). Would highly recommend!

Still not sure if your supposed to seat yourself or go to the counter to be seated. The food was on point. We started with a delicious eggplant bruschetta which was one of the tastiest things I've had in awhile. I had Turkey club which was tasty, and which was made with legit fresh turkey (nothing processed so it passed the Seinfeld test. Hubs had a New England Reuben which was tasty but a bit too over sauced for his liking. We split on the sweet potato fries; I liked them and they were obviously fresh made, they were not his favorite. Beer menu was robust, wine menu was lacking. Service was exceptional and ambiance was quite cozy. We will certainly be back and it's definitely worth checking out. Sorry no pictures, I never think to do that until after everything is eaten. No website, but you can check them out on Facebook.

The portion of the latter was a bit modest compared with other places but it was good. The chowder was good but, again, not outstanding. Service was fine. There's free street parking right outside.

** Cue the opera music, this is Nonna's house **…read more Cue Andrea Bocelli, 'cause this place deserves a soundtrack. First things first, I gotta kiss the ring of the Boston Godfather himself, KZ. He's the one who brought us to this joint, and when the Godfather makes a recommendation, you don't ask questions. You show up, you sit down, and you eat. Grazie, Don KZ. I owe you one, and someday, maybe that day will never come, you can call on me for a favor. I came to Boston on business, and this place made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Walkin' up those wood-paneled stairs felt like I was bein' brought in for a sit-down with the five families. Once we got seated with that wall of wine starin' at us, I knew we were in good hands. Bread hits the table with olive oil, chili flakes, and grated cheese. Already, I'm a believer. I went with the lasagna with Bolognese, and this thing was the size of a cinder block. Layers on layers, cheese meltin' out the sides, smothered in a rich meaty Bolognese. It was like goin' to Grandma's house, if Grandma was tryin' to feed the whole neighborhood. One plate could feed a family of four, easy. The rest of the crew ate like made men. Dapper Dave 2DF and Chuckie "Meatballs" joined us at the sit-down, and these two didn't come to talk business, they came to eat. Chicken piccata over angel hair loaded with lemon and capers. Cavatelli piled high with sausage, prosciutto, spinach, and onions. Fat meatballs and sausage swimmin' in red sauce over fresh ribbon pasta, and I'll let you guess which one of 'em ordered that. Nobody left hungry, nobody left disappointed. Respect. Here's how serious I am: I brought leftovers all the way back to San Diego. They packed it up nice and tight like precious cargo. Then TSA tries to tell me I gotta kick it to the curb. Excuse me? So we had a little negotiation, a sit-down right there at the checkpoint, and I got it through. Then they're eyein' it like they wanna take a bite. Fuhgeddaboudit. I wasn't sharin'. Nobody touches the lasagna. This is the kinda place that keeps you up at night wantin' more. You're in Boston and you don't eat here? That's an insult to the family, and the Godfather don't forget an insult. -- Captain 619

Pros: *Huge portions - seriously, we had a LOT of leftovers…read more *Showed up without a reservation on a Saturday night, ended up waiting less than 30 mins for a table *Good service, very friendly staff *Complimentary bread with olive oil and garlic dipping plate! Cons: *Overpriced for the quality - however I will say we did NOT get the homemade pasta, probably should have but it's an additional $4 on an already $25 pasta dish. *Presentation of the food was overall messy in my opinion. The pasta dish looked like it was aggressively plopped all together into the plate, and sauce was almost coming off of the side of the plate of heaping pasta. *Unsexy lighting. Went here for a date night, and although the tables were intimate and tucked away, the bright white light was noooot a cute look for a date night. *Fruit flies would not leave us alone Would potentially come back, to try the homemade pasta!

Seriously, there should be one of these in every major city and small town. The desserts are out of this world. The flavors are true and as authentic as you can get without sugar. I felt like I was cheating with every bite but knew in my mouth and heart I was not. The service was amazing and the lady who runs this is a genius. The atmosphere is very inviting and I wish I was back up in Boston so I could visit again. I most likely won't ever find another bakery as good as this for Keto. All I can do is try and replicate what I had and that isn't saying anything because I'm no where near that perfection as this wonderful great, tremendously, amazingly bakery is. I Miss You Guys!!! Thanks for an amazing experience.

The girl working there suggested the apple cinnamon donut. An absolute winner!!! The stuffed chocolate chip cookie will last a few days because a little piece of it will satisfy your sweet tooth. The Lillys Buffalo Caulifllower Hummus (again recommended from the girl who worked there) was another winner. I used to bathe in hummus, now that I try to eat low carb, I no longer eat that. Well welcome cauliflower creamy and silky hummus. How is cauliflower silky......I don't know! We will definitely be going back as there were so many other items we want to try and we will also repurchase the same items we bought last time because they were a winner. One recommendation I would make is for them to sell coffee so we can enjoy the Keto sweet treats with a nice cup of coffee.
