We visited this pub/restaurant during a recent stay in Milford on sea.
Parking is on the roadside outside the pub or car park to the right.
This is a really cosy pub. There is a coat rack as you go in so that you don't have to have your coat dragging on the floor or scrunched up behind you.
It has a real fire which really helps the cosy atmosphere. There are seating booths which are made to look like old stable fronts with iron bars (sound hideous but they weren't). It was October when we visited and these booths were covered with lovely fairy lights. I presume these are here all year round but maybe they couldn't wait to get the deco's up.
We ordered the veggie quiche, chips, onion rings, mushrooms and garlic bread. The Quiche was homemade and really delicious. The portions were huge and we struggled to finish our food and had to admit defeat. They sold a large selection of real ales of which my partner had to test of course.
I visited the ladies which were clean, and no nasty pongs (worst thing ever!).
All in all a really pleasant evening. read more
